I have been using carers from Caring Lane for nearly four years now and their service has been exemplary. They are entirely capable, kind, diligent and very well able to handle the demands of the job and the personalities involved. I thoroughly recommend them.

My sister had been in hospital for ten weeks and then in a respite home for three weeks but was desperate to go back to her own home where she lived alone. When she first returned to her home, she was hardly mobile and had carers from Caring Lane three times a day. She quickly improved and they helped her regain more mobility by taking her for short walks outside. She was gradually able to do more and more independently and now only has one carer a day, who helps her get up and washed and have breakfast. She can then cope for the rest of the day. The carers are just what the name implies - caring and concerned for my sister's wellbeing. I would not hesitate to recommend Caring Lane. It has helped my sister to retain her independence and to give me peace of mind knowing that someone sees and helps her every morning.

My carers have always been very punctual and always have a smile to make me feel better. They are always very nice and I don't think that I can say any are rude. I have lots of friends that I call in and they really get on with the carers and tell me how lucky I am to have them.

All the careers go above and beyond, my sister thinks the world of them, brightens up her day, they are so helpful and always willing to help on hospital visits, a lot of those, it’s like having friends in the house. The manager is a brilliant lady perfect for her job.

Health and safety issues were discussed in depth as were environmental concerns. A care plan was established where every effort was made to meet my needs, both in help and time allocation. The carer was shown the routine which was expected before the caring service began. I felt well looked after and confident about the standard of service I was to receive. My mum has dementia and Caring Lane care for my mum, before them I tried many different agencies but we stayed with Caring Lane because they listened to what we wanted and did things just the way we like. Also, they are handy for emergency call-outs and last-minute changes. The manager is very helpful and even helps with dealing with its GP and social services. When they're with my mum I know she's in safe hands and I can leave her for a while and go about my life.

My mum is better now that she has this support. We are happy with this care agency. Staff are excellent.

Caring Lane currently look after my nan an hour every other day. I cannot fault their service. The level of hygiene was high when they prepared my meals and then eventually helped me to prepare my own. I was impressed with the management as when I had one problem it was rectified straight away.
