We were recommended Bridgewater Homecare by a friend. I am POA and a friend of the client, who had dementia and was approaching end of life care. K&M came out to perform an assessment of the client. They were kind, compassionate, thorough, and reassuring but yet professional. They talked us (myself and the client's spouse) through the process, assuring us that no request was too much trouble and ensuring they knew as much as possible about the client. Once the care package was in place, the staff were wonderful; they were prompt, attentive, polite and very caring to the client. They always asked the client's spouse if they required any other tasks or jobs performing. They made what was a very sad, and potentially distressing time, perfectly tolerable for us. The information provided on the app was useful for me as I was not on site. I would have no hesitation in using them again, should the need arise, nor in recommending them to other clients. Thank you, Bridgewater Home Care, Bolton.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a privilege for us to support all of them through his final days and be able to give his wife reassurance and peace. This is exactly the care we want for all our clients and for them to know that nothing is too much and how much the little things matter to everyone on the team.

My mum was very sceptical about having someone going in her home to clean, but knew she needed assistance. After checking reviews I approached Kirsty at Bridgewater, and explained what mum needed and wanted. Nicola has been fantastic and asks mum what she needs doing and also communicates with her throughout the visit. Mum has settled now and has Nicola every 2 weeks for 2hours. I can also check what has been done which I think is a very good idea. Thankyou so much Bridgewater Bolton for giving mum confidence in having help.

Thank you. Lots of our clients are worried about having someone in their home and we are here to reassure them and make sure they are completely comfortable as we start to care. It can be a stressful time but we totally understand. Its an absolute pleasure to help out with the cleaning and chores...

After a previous bad experience with private care we came across 'Bridgewater Home Care'. What a company! The staff, from the office to the carers are all professional, kind, caring, understanding and human! Both my parents and the rest of the family are happy to have them around and they totally morph into how you want the care plan to be. They are walking angels and don't know how we'd cope without them now.

My mum is 90 years old and deteriorated between Christmas & New YEar. My brothers, a family friend & I cared for Mum also staying over. We were extremely stressed doing care for my mum, who became very frail. Bridgewater commenced 12.1.26 and the relief for us is massive. The care is excellent she has the same carers who go the extra mile. One volunteered on her day off to get Mum ready for an emergency appointment.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot to us to know that our care has brought some relief to you and your family during such a stressful time. Were so pleased that our carers have been able to support your mum and go the extra mile when it was needed most. Your feedback truly means the world to our team.

We began using Bridgewater Home care after mum had a fall & needed extra help morning & evening. From the start the carers were pleasant, respectful & considerate of mum's wishes. Every day we could log onto the app to check they had been . They provide a detailed report of how mum was when they arrived & any conversations they had with her . They are a very helpful and caring company .

I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional care provided by Bridgewater Home Care. Their care and attention extended the time mum was able to live independently at home, despite her progressive dementia. One staff member, in particular, became a new friend, at a time when mum found it difficult to forge relationships. Bridgewater took time to understand mum's individual needs and in particular, their support around mum's 90th birthday party was instrumental in that being a very happy and successful occasion.

It was our absolute pleasure to care for your mum. Her dedicated team loved spending time with her, and indeed became friends.

After having 15mths bad experience of a local authority recommended Care Company for Mum, thank goodness we found Bridgewater Care.
From my initial meeting with the registered care manager I could tell straight away that this was a company to be reckoned with & they have not disappointed at all.
The last three months have removed so much of the stress that I was suffering, knowing that all of Mums needs are now being met & she is safely being looked after.
The Care Plan set up for Mum is fantastic & very flexible, their communication & organisation of everything is second to none and the Carers are absolutely wonderful & I cannot sing their praises enough.
They are everything you could wish for,
professional, very respectful & go out of their way to make sure that everything is taken care of & if anything needs reporting do so immediately in order that family are informed.
I would recommend Bridgewater Care 100% ! & if I could award more stars I would.

Thank you again to all of you.

Wonderful care for my late father, from the day of first contact until the end of his life. I found the service to be flexible and they listened carefully to our needs, making the process of finding carers and putting together an appropriate care plan, much easier than I had expected. The manager, was very helpful and gave good advice. She was friendly and supportive and went the extra mile to help. The carers were all lovely, friendly and caring, treating dad with respect and dignity. I very much appreciated the on line feedback and account of what had been done after each visit. Everything was transparent including the pricing. Thank you Bridgewater.

We have now received care from Bridgwater for nearly three years. All staff have presented themselves in a professional manner and are always polite and courteous. The carers are very considerate to Dad's needs and never rush him. They make conversation with him and always listen to his stories, sometimes more than once! But always take the time to listen as hearing for the first time!! Would wholly recommend Bridgewater to anyone.

At the initial meeting I was told that I would have 2-3 carers so I would get to know them. I see a lot more than that a lot of whom seem to be new so it makes it difficult to form a relationship.

Some of the carers (usually more experienced) go over and above to help, but some of the younger ones don't appreciate the difficulties of Parkinson's Disease. Those that do understand are very good at knowing when I am "off" ad just get on with the tasks.

Reply from Diane Elebert-Morgan, Managing Director at Bridgewater Home Care (Bolton)

We have been expanding the team and training less experienced staff as we try to support more local people to stay at home and remain independent. I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional care provided by Bridgewater Home Care. They have been providing companion care for my mother-in-law, who is living with dementia, for several months now and we are incredibly grateful for their support. They always go above and beyond, ensuring that Mum receives the very best care possible. One staff member, in particular, has become like a best friend to my mother-in-law. Her kindness, compassion, and expertise have been invaluable in helping Mum to feel comfortable and safe. What sets Bridgewater Home Care apart is their commitment to truly getting to know its clients and their families. The ladies treat Mum with a great deal of dignity and respect, as they would their own relative.

They smile with her when she’s happy and help her through the not too good days. My brother and I work alongside the Bridgewater team, communication from them is always relevant, pertinent and accurate, with Mum at the forefront of every decision we make together as a team. Mum would not be able to stay at home ( where she wants to be) without the help we have from Bridgewater.

The careers that come to mum have done a great job from day one. She feels very comfortable with them and something that is very important to her is the way they share stories about their families. Mum is on her own for a large part of the day so the carers visit is a welcome break. Then when I visit she enjoys repeating these stories to me. At 95, mum needs help with showering and dressing which was difficult for her to accept at first but the carers were so professional and thoughtful in the way they treated her, that mum is very happy and relaxed with them. For me, if mum is happy then so am I. A big thank you to all the staff.

I cannot thank Bridgewater enough for their help and support. The carers are excellent, always professional, kind, helpful, patent, polite and go over and above to care for my husband.
They do everything they can to ensure both my hubby and myself are happy.
