As registered manager I am responsible for the day-to-day running of a homecare or domiciliary care service. Also for ensuring that our service meets all legal and regulatory requirements, and that it provides quality care for our care recipients.
As a registered manager I am registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in order to work in this role, and I have relevant qualifications, experience and training to do the job properly. I am also responsible for supervising staff and ensuring that they receive adequate training and ongoing support.
I have seen the difference that outstanding care can make to peoples lives and I am passionate to ensure that our carers go above and beyond.
I joined Bridgewater Home Care (and the care industry) in 2020 after a career in the accountancy world. It was a big change of direction for me, but I love working alongside the Bridgewater Family and helping to deliver a service that means so much to those in our local communities.
