I am absolutely overwhelmed with how all of your team have built such strong relationships with my Mum, particularly, but also my Dad during their time with us. Initially, when we put the service in place you and I spoke about the concerns we had about how my Mum would take to having people completing
her personal care. My Dad and I were astounded about how well my Mum adjusted to this process, this is 100% down to the wonderful nature, professionalism, caring and friendliness of your team. My Dad looks forward to chatting to them, my Mum is happy for them to take care of her and me, well, couldn’t be more grateful for how fabulous they are. They are genuinely concerned for Mum and Dad's welfare; the carer on Sunday was a fine example of that when Mum had her episode, though there have been many more.

Home Instead provided help to my elderly parents for several years - always going beyond the call of duty. They helped with the shopping, then with bathing my mum and, crucially, were there to call the ambulance when my dad had a fall, and waited with my mum until I could get there. The carers and staff
were always helpful and cheerful. I can't recommend them highly enough.

My partner came out of the hospital and needed care while I was at work as he had a stroke, Home Instead was the best; they helped both of us through a very hard few months, not only looking after him but helping me through a very difficult time. I would definitely recommend Home Instead to anyone who
needs carers in the home, you all at Cheltenham were the best, a friend of mine is already using them for her Mum after I told them how good Home Instead was.

Gloucestershire is such a beautiful county and I feel incredibly proud to have opened our Home Instead Senior Care office just outside Cheltenham. My twins were born in Cheltenham (a boy and a girl!) and go to school there, and we live not far away near Cirencester.


I have had a wonderful career, holding a number of Local Authority posts before becoming a corporate director here in Gloucestershire. I've been responsible for everything from customer service to community development, business improvement to staff training and I've learned a lot about what matters to local communities and older people. I was inspired by my sister and my sister-in-law to become involved in the care sector, both of whom work with older people. Home Instead Senior Care means I can have a real impact on the day to day quality of people's lives. It means I can provide the very best level of service on a completely personalised basis, which is exactly what I would want for my own mum.


Being the first care at home company in Gloucestershire to be rated overall 'Outstanding' for a second time running by the CQC (achieved by only a small number of organisations nationwide) is amazing and all down to the truly wonderful CAREGivers and fantastic office team who work with us.
