Overall Experience

My helper was very easy to get on with. She often suggested what she could do. Sometimes washing up when she arrived. She usually did something up first, then suggested what she could do next eg sorted some post, dusted, vacuumed the carpet or dusted the shelves or washed the kitchen floor. She seemed to like her job. Once she did some shopping.

After my husband died I felt very alone much of the time, but my help came for an hour in the late afternoon and she made me more 'normal'.

Overall Experience
Care given is excellent.
Only negative comment is carer speaks only limited English, so communication is difficult.

All staff are very caring, professional and capable.

A caring hand can steady a rocking ship.

In my 16 years of experience as a physio much of which was dedicated to community geriatric rehab, I have learned that effective and wholesome Care provision needs a fine balance of the right attitude, attention and time.

This serves as a foundation for other supported programmes such as Rehab to yield positive benefits in enabling confident and independent living. I have seen several cases where a lack of proper care, time and empathy has left many clients disappointed. Discovering this wide gap between concept and reality was a primary motivation for me to search and create a platform where we could provide meaningful care in combination with tailored rehab which would truly make a difference to someone’s everyday life.

At Right at Home Reigate & Crawley, I have the opportunity to realise this desire to provide high-quality and excellent care. Our comprehensive approach to care, companionship and rehab would assist clients and their families to live an improved quality of life. I have built a team of people who share these beliefs and values – where each client is special, no client’s need is too big, where the client’s personal satisfaction comes first, where going the extra mile …. comes naturally, where providing care with compassion is a way of life!
