The staff were very good. The best people were outstanding but even the others were pretty good. Helpful, obliging, full of initiative and good enough social sense to know when to step into the background. Right mix of authority and friendliness.

Over the last year, the carers at Petals Care have been looking after my mum, who has advanced dementia. Her condition has deteriorated rapidly over the last 3 months, and she is now bed-bound. The carers have shown nothing but compassion during the Covid-19 pandemic going above and beyond to provide for my mum when the family have been restricted due to lockdown; we as a family couldn't have asked for more and will forever be grateful for the support given. The management has been fantastic with keeping us informed of any changes, and we have had weekly updates for our own reassurance. We would highly recommend Petals Care Agency to anyone who was looking for outstanding care for their loved ones.

Petals Care have provided an exceptional service for my grandmother. The manager has excellent communication skills and is very dependable. All staff that have visited my grandmother have been attentive and fulfilled their duties to an exceptional standard, easing the responsibility of the whole family. Petals have been taking care of my brother for over three years now. They have been supportive and caring throughout. Nothing is too much trouble, and they do everything to accommodate my brother's needs. They really have been excellent, and our family are very happy with all aspects of care. Highly recommended.

With their quality of care, we have been able to keep her in her own home despite failing health. During this very difficult time, when my sister and I have not been able to visit our mother, it has been reassuring to know that she is being well cared for. When we speak to Mum on the phone, she is positive and cheerful, appreciative of the care she receives. The carers and the managers keep in touch with us. They deal promptly and efficiently with any issues that arise.

My mother’s carers were considerate, patient and took time to build a trusting relationship with her. She suffers from dementia so her confusion can be upsetting and get her down - the carers were brilliant at lifting her mood and persuading her gently to do the things she sometimes didn’t want to (like get washed, dressed and take her medication). Management were extremely understanding during some admin issues; reassuring me that they would continue to provide care even though the situation was uncertain. This was so reassuring and I’m hugely appreciative that they prioritised her care. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Petals as a care provider.

We like all Petals carers. They do such a nice job and are cheerful. Our latest carer helps my wife to have a bath and does some housework. The housework might be vacuum cleaning or dusting. We do the rest. The carers generally do a better job than I would.

Petals has been providing care for my father-in-law for several months now and we are very happy with the service and care they provide. He has 4 visits a day and he is very especially happy with the morning and evening carer, who helps him wash and dressed, first thing in the morning and gets him ready for bed at night. He rates her very highly and looks forward to her visits. She also does his medication in the mornings and the communication between Petals and myself and his doctor is very good.

The care my father has received has been superb in every way. Petals uphold very high standards and choose the right carers for their client's needs. There is not a high level of turnover of staff who have all been patient and reliable, providing exceptional care. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending this agency.

My wife's Alzheimers has worsened exponentially over the last nine months. A small group attended to her needs as the number of visits increased over the period. Two were very good at handling my wife's volatile behaviour. The other three were good in general. She was beyond my personal control until about 18 months ago hence my family's decision to obtain better care.

I have been very happy with Petals Care in relation to my mother. They have provided consistency of care and demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach. My mother has been cared for by the agency since April, providing both day and night care. Communication between the agency and myself has been very good, alerting me to any issues in relation to my mother and any changes in her condition.
