We have found the company very efficient and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. If a problem arises it is put right straight away. The girls are all polite and willing to do any tasks when asked.

Our night care has been such a positive effect on all of us. She has a very calming approach to everything and is an amazing listener, making time for us all. My father felt very at ease with our carer almost immediately.

The care is of a high standard with no issues. As our needs for care have changed, Bluebird has made every effort to meet these needs, sometimes at short notice. The staff are professional as well as caring and friendly. Highly recommended.

Carers actually care about Mum's wellbeing and though time is limited, make time to talk and check she is feeling OK. Communication between carers, carers and family, carers, head office and family are good and feedback can be in the form of notes or telephone calls and all visits are commented on using the app. It all gives a sense that Mum is being looked after properly.

I have no experience of other care providers. This franchise seems satisfactory/good. The review documentation needs revision, however. The need for advance notice of cancellation could be more generous to the client.

I am pleased they are prompt and on time. I don't have personal care at the moment only basic assistant personnel. I'm pleased with the carer that I get. I wonder why I have to pay for full personal care. The staff that I have had so far have proved efficient and caring.
We are very happy with the service being provided in these difficult times. They visit my Dad and look after him 3 times a day. Very grateful to the management and the staff who look after my dad. Keep up the good work. Will recommend this team to all.

Having used a previous care agency who always seemed to create extra work for me by leaving me to come and sort Mum out most weekends and having total lack of respect for Mum, itis so refreshing to have a team of caring people looking after Mum. Always in uniform, always turn up to look after her and go the extra mile for her, even when her dementia means she can be difficult at times. As an exhausted family member, this means a lot.

Caring staff who manage my needs in a considerate manner. I have mostly had the same carers, which I requested and the management team responded to. As I have my personal needs carried out by the carers, I wanted those I felt comfortable with and have built up a positive relationship with. My daughters have dealings with the management team who always listen to what they say and have formed a professional relationship with as a family we are very happy with the service.

Meet the Team (3)
Minnie joined the team recently as the Care Manager, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge from both the Social Care and Nursing sectors. Having started in domiciliary care 17 years ago, Minnie’s determination and passion led to her continuing her studies and obtaining a Master’s Degree in Adult Nursing. This career journey has included working in A&E and in Community Nursing as a Senior Registered Nurse, therefore bringing a trove of knowledge, skills and experience to Bluebird Care.
I have worked in partnership with various community services such as District Nurses, GPs, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Continence teams and Speech and Language Therapy teams. This experience will help both our team and Customers at Bluebird Care (Sutton Coldfield & Birmingham East), as working in collaboration with our local Health Care professionals will ensure the best outcomes for those we support. It also opens future opportunities to develop the scope of care we provide at Bluebird Care such as complex care, allowing those with additional needs and requirements within the community to still fulfil their wishes of remaining in their own homes.”
Minnie is looking forward to implementing her management and leadership skills to ensure Bluebird Care Sutton Coldfield & Birmingham East continues to deliver the highest standards of care to all customers, both current and future, delivered by our approachable and dedicated team of professional Care Experts and office staff.
Sian joined Bluebird Care in 2020 as a Care Expert, and despite being new to care, she excelled and impressed the team and was soon promoted to ‘Lead Care Expert.’ Sian went on to complete her Level 3 in Health and Social Care and is currently working towards her Level 5 qualification, developing her management skills within the sector to continue her career with Bluebird Care. Sian is also the in-house trainer for Medication, Moving & Positioning and Basic Life Support.
Sian ensures the standard of care provided by Bluebird Care Sutton Coldfield & Birmingham East always remains high, through high-quality training and support for staff and regular quality and compliance audits.
Sian says “I have always wanted to be in a profession where I help others and make a real difference to their lives. I had previously worked in childcare settings and found the skills and experience I had built up helped me in my role at Bluebird Care. Bluebird Care is a lovely company to work for; the staff are all very friendly and the management team offer lots of support and development opportunities. I am looking forward to bettering myself and gaining more qualifications as well as being a part of the growth and success of Bluebird Care."
Krysty started her career in the care sector in 2007 and fell in love with the job from the very first client she visited. She joined Bluebird Care in 2022 where her experience, skill set and passion for providing the very best care were quickly recognised and she was promoted to ‘Lead Care Expert’ within the first year. Krysty went on to complete her Level 3 in Health and Social Care and Adult Lead Care Worker in 2023 and soon after was promoted to the Care Coordinator position. In this role, Krysty ensures that the call times are met and that continuity of care.
Krysty says “I love all aspects of my role. I believe everyone deserves the very best care possible and that we should all be the ones to provide that. I have the utmost respect for my team and what we collectively achieve on a daily basis. The Care Experts are all very kind, caring and compassionate, whilst being adaptable to change in every situation.
I have managed to build up a very good rapport with my team on both a professional and personal level; they know we are only a call away. Our customers and their families also know we are always there for them, whether that be via a phone call or popping in to see us for a cup of tea and a chat in the office.”
