Previous company supplied by social services were very poor, so Gabriel's Angels were a vast improvement and I would recommend them.

Many thanks, David, for writing the review regarding our service.
Gabriel's Angels have provided live-in care for my uncle for the last four years until his passing last month. During that time, he received exceptional care, and Gabriel's Angels were always there to listen when we needed to talk things through. His main carers have been excellent - engaging, caring, interactive and considerate of his needs. They have also helped us to navigate the care system and to understand how we could ensure that my uncle could continue to receive live-in care when his personal savings ran out. We will always be grateful and glad we chose them.
Many thanks, Karen, for taking the time to review our service.
Gabriel’s Angels have been looking after my father for two years now. He has declined over this time, and they have catered for his changing needs at every stage. The carers show dignity and respect whilst having fun and laughter with him. He enjoys the carers visiting, and if I have any concerns or need to ask for changes to be made, the office staff are very helpful and always action requests promptly.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our service.
Truly outstanding in every way. I couldn't recommend Gabriel's Angels highly enough. Since my dad moved to be under their care my dad has really improved. The carers really give true quality time to him forming a friendship. That's tough with someone with Dementia too. Reliable, trustworthy and approachable. Thank you!
Dear Sarah, thank you very much for your review of our services much appreciated.
Immediate and supportive response was made after I made an inquiry on behalf of the client, with the full consent of the client. There was an urgent need for overnight care and none was available through the normal (local authority) providers. With a mobile phone conversation on loudspeaker with the doctor, including the client, it was agreed Gabriel's Angels would be engaged. Their service throughout was caring and considerate, very professional.
Hello Frances, thank you very much for your kind words.
It has also taken some of the 'stress' away from the family knowing that she is being looked after. What that means is that we can spend more quality time with her; taking her out for meals, days out as a family. It has given back our time with her which is precious - thank you.
Thank you very much, Diane, for writing a review for us. Much appreciated.
Thanks so much!
Thank you very much, Kurt, for taking the time to write this review.
My sister was unwell and needed help while travelling, Gabriel's Angels provided a carer to travel with her and provide help with chores and care for the duration of her holiday. She found the experience to be very positive and would have no hesitation in using this company again, if the need arises. It was very reassuring for me to know she had a professional carer with her at all times for the duration of her stay.
Thank you, Elizabeth, for your kind words. The carer had a lovely time as well!
Excellent service, a lovely carer placed.
Many thanks for your review, Matt, it is very much appreciated.
Picking an agency takes so much time and effort and you have no guarantee of getting it right, even with a lot of research. You can't go wrong with Gabriel's Angels - they are worth every penny. I really hope this review helps anyone seeking dementia/Alzheimer's care in Wokingham and the surrounding area.
Dear Anna, thank you very much for this review - it is very much appreciated.
Gabriel’s Angels have been, and continue to be, the most fantastic agency. Their care team are thoughtful, kind, skilled and well-trained, providing all the support my mum requires. The office staff are super helpful and responsive. As Mum’s needs have been changing Gabriel's Angels have been proactive and flexible in working with her. Mum loves them and that is, of course, the main thing.
Jacky
We are very happy with the service and care which is provided.
Thank you very much Deborah for your kind review. Very much appreciated.
No complaints, fabulous service.
Thank you very much Michele for your kind words. Much appreciated.
The care that my father received from everyone at Gabriel's Angels was amazing. The care, kindness, compassion and friendship that they showed him meant the world to him as his family. They enabled him to live an independent life, full of support from the amazing carers, who supported him in and out of the home. Dad enjoyed the social aspect of Gabriel's Angels too - social events, pub lunches, trips out. Not only did Gabriel's Angels support Dad, they supported us as a family too. The support and kindness they showed us all was always amazing and we couldn't recommend Gabriel's Angels highly enough. Thank you, everyone.
Thank you so much Katherine, your dad was much loved and is still dearly missed at our pub lunches, we talk about him and raise a glass to him often, thank you for your kindness to one staff member, she was very upset when he passed away.

Meet the Team (10)
I am the co-owner of Gabriel’s Angels with my wife Jacqueline. My background was originally in the corporate world in Business Management, completing my MBA in 2004. I was subsequently looking for a role which had direction, purpose and would have a genuine impact on people’s lives. Gabriel’s Angels is just that care agency, and we are proud to have created it in May 2012.
Since 2012, I am proud that we have built such a caring organisation, not just for the people we help but also for our employees who deliver that outstanding level of home care we want to maintain.
As well as helping to run the company operations day to day in my spare time, my passion is for the game of rugby – alas not playing anymore but an avid spectator of the game!
Hi - I’m Jacqueline Payne, co-founder of Gabriel's Angels with my husband Jason in May 2012. I am also the Registered Manager of our Company that strives to provide the same loving care to a client that their family would give.
We also wanted to run our company to ensure that it is a positive and happy place to work for all our employees.
I completed my nurse training at Queen Mary's University Hospital in London in 2004, and after nursing at Great Ormond Street, we eventually moved to Wokingham to return to my passion, which is caring for the elderly. I have completed an ENB nursing course, Caring for the Patient with Dementing Illness and also the ENB 998 nurse teaching course.
We know how tough it can be caring for the elderly and vulnerable, and we get enormous satisfaction from helping clients and family members with this challenge.
I joined Gabriel’s Angels as an apprentice straight from college in 2015 and have been on the super journey with the “family” since that time! - I cannot convey how much it means to me to work in such a wonderful and caring environment, which makes the best possible difference to our clients’ lives as we can.
I have a QCF Level 3 in Management and started a Degree in Business Management – passing the first year with Distinction.
I really love the challenge of my new role, being involved in all areas of the Gabriel’s Angels business, and supporting Jason and Jacky in the business's expansion going forward.
A recent welcome addition to the Gabriel’s Angels management team, and based in our Wokingham facility, Ferne comes with a strong background in social care, having held increasing and diverse levels of job responsibilities over the last 15 years or so in other domiciliary care companies prior to joining us in December 2025.
Prior to joining Gabriel’s Angels in January 2024, I had a background in the care industry for close to two years, specialising in the brain and spinal care market sector.
I am one of the Care Co-ordinators who is responsible for our very busy rota system and a team of carers and clients, and I manage the process of carer allocation to our clients and their specific welfare needs, which is highly important to Gabriel’s Angels.
The main attraction for me in the care industry is that I love being able to make a difference to our clients and their well-being.
Another recent addition to the Gabriel’s Angels management team, Rosalind has an 11-year background in both the NHS and other domiciliary care providers in the local area and is a very experienced and skilled Care Coordinator.
Rosalind has joined to support the rapidly expanding Gabriel’s Angels customer base to ensure that they receive high-quality care services at the times they need and want, and that the carers are carefully matched to the individual customer preferences.
Lynette has recently been promoted to Team Leader in our very busy Wokingham branch, and in particular has an extensive knowledge of medical equipment through previous job roles. She has a reputation for consistently going beyond what is required for her clients!
Tatty has recently stepped into the team leader role, bringing with her a strong foundation in accountancy and a newly discovered passion for care. Since joining the sector, she has found what she describes as her “true calling”: supporting people to live well and making meaningful, positive changes in their lives.
She approaches her work with a proactive, intelligent, and hardworking mindset, and she has quickly become known for her collaborative style — particularly her ability to build constructive relationships with colleagues across social services and the NHS.
What truly sets Tatty apart is the sense of safety and reassurance she brings to the people she supports. She has a natural ability to make individuals feel seen, heard, and protected, and this quality underpins everything she does as a leader.
Alongside her role, Tatty is also undertaking a marketing degree in her spare time. This additional study reflects her drive for continuous development and her interest in understanding how communication, engagement, and strategic thinking can strengthen the way care is delivered.
Lucy supports our care delivery, scheduling and administrative processes across a wide aspect of support functions.
Scott joined the Wokingham team in 2025 and supports our administration as well as delivering person centred care to our customers.
