Nest Homecare is a privately-run homecare provider based in Windsor covering towns in Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire.

They specialise in providing professional, exceptional quality care and support to enable clients to remain independent, safe and happy in the clients' own homes. Their person-centred approach is totally unique and bespoke to each individual client's needs. They provide hourly visits, overnight (sleeping nights and waking nights) and Live-in (see areas covered below).

They offer a range of services including personal care, management and administration of medication, meal preparation, shopping and trips out, domestic chores and companionship. They are able to offer support for complex care including Catheter Care, Stoma and PEG. The care staff are experienced, highly-trained and Enhanced-DBS-checked.

They are proud to provide a specialised dementia service with experienced and well-trained carers who can provide practical advice, help and support on all aspects of living with dementia.

We only have praise for Nest Homecare and are so pleased that we chose them - a high calibre company.
Our mum, who has Alzheimer's, has been with Nest for a year now. From my first telephone call with the office, I knew that we were going to be in very good hands.
From the office staff through to
our wonderful carers, they have been professional, respectful, friendly, compassionate, communicative and have gone above and beyond supporting our needs.
We had to leave recently for personal reasons, which was a very sad day, but we are back and so very happy.
The care Mum receives is second to none. Our regular carers are knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, patient and have very big hearts and they always lift our mum’s spirits. This in turn gives us such peace of mind knowing Mum is in good hands.
I would, and have recommended Nest Homecare - a professional, friendly, well-run company. Thank you.

Nest Homecare provided excellent care to my mother in her last few months. The carers themselves performed their duties with great kindness. One lady was wonderful in organising care as required for my mother's changing needs and provided more help and support than I ever expected. I cannot praise Nest

Nest Homecare Ltd has been supporting my mother since late 2020 and I have been very impressed by the standard of care provided by the carers and by the responsiveness of the management. My mother has been looked-after on a daily basis by several different carers from Nest Homecare Ltd and without exception,
they have been kind, attentive and professional. In addition, the management always goes the extra mile to provide feedback and to make recommendations, as well as doing its utmost to accommodate last-minutes changes or requirements. The original enrollment process was reassuringly detailed, personal and the continuing communication between management to carers and management to me is regular and proactive. My access to the well-maintained website is also extremely helpful in giving reassurance and keeping me informed about the ministrations of the carers. In summary, I find the whole organisation to be caring, responsive and impressively well-run. I would recommend it without hesitation.

I cannot recommend Nest Homecare highly enough. My dad and his wife have been using them for about 3 months, and are so happy with the care they receive. The staff are so friendly, kind and respectful. Not only do they help with their needs, but will sit and have a chat with them too. They really look
forward to them coming. Nest Homecare also arranged for extra safety aids to be installed which has helped enormously. Thank you, Nest Homecare for all the care that you give. It really is appreciated.

It was very difficult for my sisters and me to persuade my parents that the time had come to engage carers, not only for their benefit but for our peace of mind. My father is in the late stages of Parkinson's, is in a wheelchair and in need of assistance with virtually everything he does. My mother,
up until we were recommended to Nest, was his sole carer. Since we have engaged Nest, day-to-day care has been so much easier. They have a very detailed approach to care planning and risk assessment. I receive regular communications with the latest drug updates/mobility aides etc, which helps me to communicate with my fathers GP immediately. They also give regular updates on COVID to ensure both their staff and clients safety. The carers are absolutely fantastic with my father and have a great relationship with both him and my mother. Always cheerful and engaging whilst remaining totally professional. An all-round very caring and professional company who we would not hesitate to recommend.

Nest were tasked with a difficult situation as we were in lockdown during the pandemic. My mother was fighting cancer, was bed-bound as she was unable sit up or walk and had recently been sent to hospital with kidney failure. As the Coronavirus pandemic intensified, she was discharged from hospital
long before she was well. It meant I had to drive her home, with the seat adjusted as low as possible. She was in agony and getting her back into the house and up the stairs was difficult. The next day we got Nest in. They organised a plan for Mum, with Mum, quickly. They visited three times a day to get her dressed in the morning, to check her at lunch, and to prepare her for bed. It was surreal at first. This was a lockdown, but my house had never seen such a hive of activity. It was just me and my mum living there. Nest provided the appropriate PPE items at the entrance of the house for their employees. The carers quickly became friends to us. I would absolutely recommend them.

I have no regrets in having engaged Nest Homecare to help maintain my parents in their home. They have been a wonderful support to all the family and have a very caring approach. The carers have been second to none and treated both my parents with care and respect. My mother had severe dementia and
they provided personal care for her up until her death in March 2020. They were there at the time of her death and helped support the family with the practical matters. Mum was very resistant to their help at times but they never faltered in their dedication to her. My father also struggled with her attitude to the carers at times but they took time to support him and developed an excellent relationship with him and their support continues to him in his own right.
The management are also extremely supportive and take time to listen to any concerns. They have been invaluable to the family during this difficult time when family have been unable to visit Dad. Thank you very much to you all.

Nest Homecare Ltd was very responsive and efficient in organising a short term care package for my parents following discharge from the hospital for my dad. The careers in attendance were always courteous and flexible.
The requirements for my parents were predominantly for domestic help and support
around the home and not for direct care. This was mangled very well, and my parents were very satisfied. Should we need to organise a care package in the future, they would happily engage Nest Homecare Ltd.

Nest were asked to provide twice daily care to my very frail and disabled father (91). They were with us for about 6 months. In that time they transformed the quality of my father's life and his overall well being. Nest were totally professional right from the start with very detailed care planning
and risk assessment. Liaison with the Doctors and the Council social services was never a problem. They managed both my parent's medication and cared for my father so well. As my parents were on the edge of moving into a care home, life was pretty precarious at times but they were always available any time of day/night and at weekends. The communication between teams was great and the few times I had to bring things to management's attention it was instantly dealt with. My father sadly passed away before Christmas 2019 but the difference they made to his life was significant. I truly can't recommend them enough.

Excellent service. Lovely carers who managed really well coping with my husband who has severe dementia and is partially disabled. They were very patient with him and understanding of his disability. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care company. They really go beyond expectation and

My nan was "resistant" shall we say to have care support to help her manage her hygiene and nutritional needs. She would only accept support from myself and on occasion my mother. Being extremely independent she didn't see the need, however, Vascular Dementia that she had slowly took her independence
away from her.
I have to commend Nest with working with us as a family to ensure that she was maintained at home, as this was her wish. The communication was key and the two carers were always on hand to discuss and go over a new plan of approach. In the end, I understand nan became a firm favourite of the care team and she as well enjoyed their visit.
I would encourage anyone who is looking for care input to consider Nest as their provider for their loved one.

Nest was recommended by the care home my father was in for respite. I felt they would only recommend them if they offered service of a high standard (as they had done) so that inspired confidence.


Care has been excellent and whilst my father was initially resistant, he wouldn't be without them now.

He looks forward to his visits and I know someone is checking on him daily which gives me peace of mind. Communication with us is excellent. (I find the portal visit notes invaluable).


My father was desperate to stay in his own home and Nest have enabled him to do this. Despite Vascular Dementia he is still very interested in people and really enjoys his chats with the carers. Not only is he kept safe, but they are providing invaluable company too. It's always difficult instigating care when a parent feels they don't need help, but Nest build a relationship very quickly and our initial worry that they would be dismissed on arrival each day proved unfounded as he's so happy to see them.

Nikki is one of the co-founder's of Nest Homecare - her passion for caring is borne out of helping support her elderly father who lives with dementia to stay at home. By helping her father, Nikki realised that there were so many improvements that could be made to his life, and that is her focus on a daily basis.
Nikki lives in with her family in Windsor, holds a BA (HONS) Business Studies degree and many qualifications within the care sector including Level 2 in Dementia Care. Nikki is also a Dementia Friends Champion and an active member of the local Dementia Action Alliance.
