I can not fault the care Nest have provided! Over several years they provided extra care at short notice when we had a crisis and the kindness of one particular carer when my mother had a fall was above and beyond!

I am very satisfied with the care that is given by Nest Homecare to my husband. My husband is also very happy to see two of them twice a day. The carers are mostly dressed in carer-appropriate clothes; they are friendly and courteous to my husband and are usually happy to be here in our house.

The carers provided for post-operative care were all very nice and very helpful and were on a schedule done at very short notice when a previously booked service had to withdraw. I appreciated the prompt and pleasant 'stepping into the breach' by the Nest HomeCare management.

Nest has looked after my elderly mother, in her mid-nineties, twice: the first time when she experienced a hip replacement and then in September this year (2022) when she had a shoulder replacement. She is very independent and resistant to anyone helping her but she appreciated the very sensitive and competent care she received from some exceptionally kind care assistants. My mother lives in Berkshire whilst I live in Merseyside and am coping with serious health issues of my own: therefore, whilst my mother recovered from surgery, it was a worrying time for me but I was always able to speak to the Nest team and share my concerns. They always understood, so they helped me a lot. The flexibility of the Nest offer is very attractive: they can tailor make their support to each individual, according to need and they can upscale or downscale the number of hours offered, again according to what is required. We will certainly turn to them again when we need further help.

If you’re looking for live-in care, don’t bother looking elsewhere. We found Nest online 15 months ago as we needed a live-in carer for my elderly mother-in-law. We’ve been more than impressed by their professionalism, level of customer service, responsiveness, practical help, the standard of carers provided and post-service support when the time came for a move into a nursing home environment. Help, support and advice were invaluable. A key marker for us was the fact that they have very happy employees, always a good sign of a good employer.

The full-time home care provided by Nest for my mother was for only a brief period but the time, effort, work put into the preparation for the care was exceptional, ensuring that my mother, with dementia, mobility and other issues, was taken from hospital as quickly as possible into a safe place at home where she could care for in her familiar surroundings. The manager involved went well beyond what I would expect her to do ensuring that my mother was taken from the hospital and well cared for. The carer herself dealt with the situation and my mother with great patience and skill, including preparing at very short notice (40 mins) for her long journey to a nursing home to be with my father. I would thoroughly recommend.

From the first meeting with Nest Homecare and the assessment of my mother with Dementia to the sad day I finally had to ask Nest to take my mother to a Care Home, they took care of everything that was required. From food shopping to visits to the doctor, to the care and company at home my mother required. I have nothing but praise for the entire team at Nest, the staff care about what they do and who they care for.

Not living close to my Mother and not having much help, it was a massive relief when I asked Nest to start daily visits. Highly recommend.

I have been extremely pleased with the help I have had from the girls. Sometimes I don't have enough things for them to do in the time allocated to me.

Nest Homecare provided excellent care to my mother in her last few months. The carers themselves performed their duties with great kindness. One lady was wonderful in organising care as required for my mother's changing needs and provided more help and support than I ever expected. I cannot praise Nest Homecare highly enough.

Nest Homecare Ltd has been supporting my mother since late 2020 and I have been very impressed by the standard of care provided by the carers and by the responsiveness of the management. My mother has been looked-after on a daily basis by several different carers from Nest Homecare Ltd and without exception, they have been kind, attentive and professional. In addition, the management always goes the extra mile to provide feedback and to make recommendations, as well as doing its utmost to accommodate last-minutes changes or requirements. The original enrollment process was reassuringly detailed, personal and the continuing communication between management to carers and management to me is regular and proactive. My access to the well-maintained website is also extremely helpful in giving reassurance and keeping me informed about the ministrations of the carers. In summary, I find the whole organisation to be caring, responsive and impressively well-run. I would recommend it without hesitation.

I cannot recommend Nest Homecare highly enough. My dad and his wife have been using them for about 3 months, and are so happy with the care they receive. The staff are so friendly, kind and respectful. Not only do they help with their needs, but will sit and have a chat with them too. They really look forward to them coming. Nest Homecare also arranged for extra safety aids to be installed which has helped enormously. Thank you, Nest Homecare for all the care that you give. It really is appreciated.

I have been very impressed with the quality, compassion and proactivity of my father’s carers and I would heartily recommend this caring agency. All the staff that have attended have treated my parents with respect, warmth and empathy and do not hesitate to go the extra mile.

It was very difficult for my sisters and me to persuade my parents that the time had come to engage carers, not only for their benefit but for our peace of mind. My father is in the late stages of Parkinson's, is in a wheelchair and in need of assistance with virtually everything he does. My mother, up until we were recommended to Nest, was his sole carer. Since we have engaged Nest, day-to-day care has been so much easier. They have a very detailed approach to care planning and risk assessment. I receive regular communications with the latest drug updates/mobility aides etc, which helps me to communicate with my fathers GP immediately. They also give regular updates on COVID to ensure both their staff and clients safety. The carers are absolutely fantastic with my father and have a great relationship with both him and my mother. Always cheerful and engaging whilst remaining totally professional. An all-round very caring and professional company who we would not hesitate to recommend.

Nest were tasked with a difficult situation as we were in lockdown during the pandemic. My mother was fighting cancer, was bed-bound as she was unable sit up or walk and had recently been sent to hospital with kidney failure. As the Coronavirus pandemic intensified, she was discharged from hospital long before she was well. It meant I had to drive her home, with the seat adjusted as low as possible. She was in agony and getting her back into the house and up the stairs was difficult. The next day we got Nest in. They organised a plan for Mum, with Mum, quickly. They visited three times a day to get her dressed in the morning, to check her at lunch, and to prepare her for bed. It was surreal at first. This was a lockdown, but my house had never seen such a hive of activity. It was just me and my mum living there. Nest provided the appropriate PPE items at the entrance of the house for their employees. The carers quickly became friends to us. I would absolutely recommend them.

The management are also extremely supportive and take time to listen to any concerns. They have been invaluable to the family during this difficult time when family have been unable to visit Dad. Thank you very much to you all.

My father is the service user, and he is very happy with the care and attention he receives. I receive emails updating and informing me of any issues/follow up requirements and these are timeous, accurate and professional. The carers attend the house reliably and on time.

The requirements for my parents were predominantly for domestic help and support around the home and not for direct care. This was mangled very well, and my parents were very satisfied. Should we need to organise a care package in the future, they would happily engage Nest Homecare Ltd.
