The carer arrived at the agreed time. She was well presented, friendly and pleasant. My husband took to her very easily. She listened carefully to my explanations of what my husband would eat, how he liked his tea and coffee and how he liked to spend the day. She also grasped very quickly the details of how he would need to be accompanied to the toilet and safely back again in view of his sight and balance problems. When I returned home that evening, he had obviously spent a comfortable day and assured me that he had been well looked after with courtesy and kindness. The carer had been thoughtful and attentive and he had enjoyed her company.

Baxters Homecare gave us some well-needed respite break from caring full time. The electronic notes gave us peace of mind, as I was able to log in and check.

The management and carers at Baxters have worked seamlessly with the Hospice Community Team to provide care and support to our family. The working practices make the checking of carte, medication and issues easier for all concerned. All round friendly, professional and available service makes a difficult time less stressful. It was a very distressing time for the family when mum got ill. Baxters Homecare was tasked with providing end of life care for our mother. The care workers were sensitive, compassionate and perform every task dignity and efficiency. That indicates how well trained they were, the manager will ring us from time to time to ask if the family was ok. I cannot fault the care or the company. Well done Baxters.

Importantly they liked the carer and on my return, my mother said she and my father ( and the dog ) had been well looked after. My mother also told me that the manager had come and done a spot check, checking they were both happy. I would use this agency again.

My friend was very ill and needed support and Baxters was recommended. They have done an excellent job as my friend sings them nothing but praises. She said they were extremely professional and often go beyond what is expected to make her comfortable.

All of my carers are the kindest, most friendly group of people one could meet. In fact, it's a pleasure to have them in my home. They really cheer me up.

All members of the team from Baxters Homecare have provided an excellent support service to my 95-year-old mum who is desperate to remain in her own home. The care provided has allowed her to do this and the support and kindness of all the carers are much appreciated by the family. Living a distance away, it has helped to know that Mum is in safe hands. We are constantly kept up to date of any issues that might arise and it is reassuring to know that Mum is so well looked after. I would have no hesitation in recommending the agency.

End of Life care was provided for my wife during her final days. The team were sympathetic and cheerful providing some light relief during this difficult time whilst attending to her necessary requirements.

They have shown constant support, attention to detail, and kindness when it is most needed.

Baxters Homecare Ltd has been exceedingly professional, helpful and responsive in their work, but also genuinely sympathetic and sensitive towards their client, our terminally ill mother in her suffering and pain. Every individual carer was kind and thoughtful and did her utmost to ease our mother's pain and to make her as comfortable as possible.

Very good quality care. Caring, sensitive, talkative and a pleasure to see every morning. Willing to be flexible around hospital appointments. Always ask how I am feeling, show genuine concern. All really fabulous, lovely ladies, would highly recommend.

The three visits a day we received helped me to keep my partner at home until she died, as we had both wanted. Not only did the carers look after her beautifully but their visits were very helpful and reassuring to me. I was especially impressed by the way the manager made regular visits herself and kept a close eye on everything. Thank you so very much.

The care was excellent, they always turn up on time with smiles on their faces. They interact with us and was very knowledgeable about all aspects of care. The manager came to check on things and was always polite.
