My caregiver really cares about what she does, and she cares about me as a person as well as helping me to do things that help me to stay independent. Without her help and experienced support, I could not continue to live where I do. I also love the chance to talk about so many things and memories.

Home Instead provide excellent care for our mother. They are reliable, caring, organised and good communicators. The carers are excellent and genuinely care for our mother. They also appear well supported by management e.g. illness or logistical challenges. They are also all excellent at communicating
with me and my siblings. I honestly cannot fault them.

I knew nothing about Home Instead (Folkestone, Hythe & Ashford), I found them on the internet when I needed a carer for an elderly friend. I was so pleased with the service that I received in setting up this provision and the ongoing care. Home Instead (Folkestone, Hythe & Ashford) were wonderful in
every respect. They always answered the phone and were understanding and helpful. They kept a regular check on their client and reported anything that might cause a problem. The carers were lovely, friendly and did everything possible to make my friend happy.

The team go above and beyond, I can rest assured that when my mother has a problem she will not be left alone and the carers call me and wait until I get there to relieve them. My sister and I have employed Home Instead caregivers to care for our Mum for over two years now. We both live a considerable distance away from Mum, and having a caregiver visit daily has provided my sister and me with much-sought comfort and peace of mind knowing that Mum is seeing a friendly face
and having someone checking in on her daily.


I find it really easy to communicate with all of the office staff either by phone or email, and they always respond quickly to me. They never seem to mind when I sometimes call them consistently a few days at a time to maybe offer suggestions to help them with Mum's care.


We have been lucky and managed more or less to keep to the same caregivers, which promotes Mum's trust, plus they really have got to know our Mum well with her likes, dislikes, mood changes and habits.


If we have ever needed extra visits for Mum, nothing is too much trouble, and the office has always managed to accommodate.

Carers visit my mother, who is 96 and suffers from dementia, four times a day. They are very helpful, friendly and attentive and it is thanks to them that my mother is able to continue living in her own home. They help with a number of tasks including dressing, showering, giving medication, cooking,
cleaning, shopping and providing companionship. They provide an excellent service.

My mum's residential home closed down in February and she has come to live in our annexe. I knew that I would need additional help for mum's needs. Having used the search engines online, I was impressed by the presentation of the Home Instead website. From the first telephone call I got to speak
to a person! A professional, friendly and informative person. It feels like that is a rarity these days!!
From the initial consultation to the meet and greet of mum's carer, everything has been dealt with efficiency, friendliness and attention to detail. Mum has been matched with a lovely carer who I cannot speak highly enough of. Mum has the help she needs with personal daily tasks, a cooked meal at a time that she prefers to eat and companionship during the day.
As her daughter, it has definitely taken the stress off - knowing that for part of the day I can crack on with my own personal errands to run and not have to worry about whether she is okay or not when I am out. Thank you!

The Carers that my mum is having are so very nice to me and my mum. Most importantly my mum seems happy to see them when they arrive which is a great comfort to me.

I can't say enough about the care, attention and dignity Home Instead provided for my husband who has mild dementia. The staff were all wonderful - very personable and friendly. They checked the living situation thoroughly to ensure it was a safe environment for my husband. They took into account our
specific needs as my husband is able to do most of his self-care but needed help with transportation to shops and doctor's appointments, and with taking his medication. The staff listened to our specific needs and tailored a program to suit our situation.
They were always kind and considerate, even when my husband repeated his requests because he forgot what he said. They were extremely patient and thoughtful and attentive to his every need. They listened to him talk about his childhood. He couldn't have had better treatment by anyone else, and they provided real value for money. I would recommend Home Instead Senior Care (Folkestone, Hythe & Ashford) to anyone without hesitation.

We continue to be impressed with the care given to my mother by the wonderful carers at Home Instead. They are consistently efficient and caring and often go above and beyond what might be expected, taking initiative where needed and responding to incidents or crises with understanding.


Living so

far away from my mother it is immensely reassuring to know that this level of care is being provided, and that communication between us is very good and that my mother has such a good relationship with them. It goes a long way towards easing the constant worry of supporting her at home with her dementia and growing daily needs. A crucial part of their service is that the same caregivers attend at the same times each day establishing a routine ensuring a sense of order, security and comfort.

We have used Home Instead before to look after my mother at home who was suffering from dementia as we were very happy with the service provided I decided to call on them again to look after my father for a couple of weeks after he had had a minor operation as I don’t live in the area. They wanted to
know all the relevant information regarding the operation and planned accordingly with me what aftercare my father would need. Nothing was too much trouble. Very professional and caring. As I live quite far away I felt completely at ease knowing my dad was being cared for.

All staff, carers, very caring to my parents, treat them with affection, attentive to any requests. Carers are always ready to go that extra mile. The only downside is that they are restricted in physical duties, even the smallest exertion or help to lift or move someone is perhaps the negative which
could be addressed. No complaints apart from the physical problem.

The carers from our local branch were really wonderful to my Aunt who sadly has now passed away.
I could not have asked more from them, she was so fond of them and looked upon them as friends which enabled her to stay in her own home until she died.
