Just Ask was founded in 2012 with a goal to provide personal care and home help services to the elderly in the Skipton area. It is now recognised locally as a company that delivers the highest levels of home care services in the area.

Just Ask's reputation has grown because of their very high standards, consistency, compassion and eagerness of all their staff to provide 'a level of service that they would be happy for a member of their family to receive' and this is now the company's mission statement.

Just Ask's ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude means that every one of their home care users receive a level of service that generally surpasses their expectations.

Just Ask's service user's individual needs are very important to them and they want to help their service users to live safely and comfortably in their own homes for as long as it is safe to do so. Whether their need is assistance to get up, wash and dress every day or assistance with a shower several times a week, Just Ask are happy to help. They can also prepare a freshly cooked meal, assist with medication and be there at the end of the day to assist with getting ready for bed.

Just Ask recognises that choosing a home care provider is a very important decision. They also understand that everyone is an individual and has different needs. Just Ask listens to those needs and work hard to put together a detailed support plan that understands and meets the individual needs of its service users.

We have been using Just Ask for 2.5 years primarily for dad before he went into a nursing home but continued on with their support for mum. Nothing is too much trouble and mum enjoys the visits from the team. They are easy to contact when we need to adjust her care and are flexible to increase visits
when we take holidays and need the extra help. Being able to see daily updates on the App after their visits is reassuring to know mum is ok. We have had many telephone conversations with the team and find them very friendly and with their experience find them very supportive to us too as a family.

My 99 year old friend asked me to pass on her sincere thanks to all the Just Ask carers for their kindness and consideration, without exception everyone gave her the best of attention and care and couldn't do enough for her, especially during the bast few weeks. As her friend the care and friendship
she received was also a great help to me knowing she was in very safe hands and I would also like to thank all the carers, from start to finish everyone at Just Ask have been excellent to deal with, professional, considerate and always aware of our individual needs which made our situation less stressful.

Can't speak highly enough of this wonderful team of carers. They have been visiting mum in the evenings and more recently the mornings as well to make sure she has no worries. They are completely in charge of administering her medication daily which is one worry less for us as a family. They are
sensitive to her needs and always ensure she is happy and safe when they leave. Their daily notes help us work with them if she needs more medication or has any problems with anything. Mum looks forward to them coming and gives her the opportunity to chat to people other than family which is good for her as dad was always the chatterbox of the family ! Sending a big thank you to you all.

Just Ask began looking after my Dad the day after he was discharged from a lengthy hospital stay. From the initial meeting to set up the care to every visit since I have been so impressed with the kindness, warmth and respect that every member of the team has shown to me and my father. The staff are
always good humoured, so caring and meticulous about every task they do. I really appreciate the updates that are promptly uploaded after each visit which give me reassurance that Dad is being well looked after. For me though it's more than just a checklist of jobs to do each visit, it's knowing there's some good chat and companionship for Dad regularly each day. Thank you.

Just Ask is supporting my mother with her increasing needs. I have peace of mind that she receives a daily visit and that her medication is administer. Shopping and household tasks mean my mum is catered for.. The team are always responsive when additional daily needs arise. This additional support

Our Dad was a proud and independent man who until recently always looked after himself very well without any help. Following a stroke and in his late 80s he reached a point in his life when he needed an increasing amount of care. We researched different firms and after looking at several positive reviews
enquired at Just Ask. We were immediately impressed and following several discussions about Dad's requirements were pleased that we had found this small local firm who were able to help us. The ladies visited Dad three times a day and treated him with the upmost care and respect. His wishes were always adhered to and nothing was too much trouble. He looked forward to their visits and always enjoyed a nice chat. As he became more frail, intimate needs were met, again with great dignity. It was also reassuring to receive a short electronic report after each visit. Dad passed away a few weeks ago, but we are so grateful that he was cared for by Just Ask. Highly recommended!

As a relatively new client of Just Ask I have been very pleased and impressed by the prompt response to my request for assistance with home care for my elderly mum. At 96 years of age Mum was not entirely convinced that assistance was needed but she quickly settled into the new routine thanks to the
no fuss care provided by the care team.

From the manager, to all the carers employed by the company this a very compassionate and dedicated group of people. My mum has received tremendous support from the carers and she has bonded with them and trusts their care, in particular one of the staff members. They address all her needs with professionalism

My Aunt was diagnosed with dementia, it was obvious that she was forgetting to eat and had lost the ability to cook for herself. She has no offspring and her extended family managed short term but it was obvious that this was going to be difficult to maintain. Once a diagnosis is made a number of agencies
become involved but early on it was established that she would have to self fund any care. We made numerous enquiries and an official source unofficially recommended Just Ask care and support. After an initial visit a care package was arranged and they have attended every single day since then including Bank Holidays and extreme winter weather.
The ladies are all extremely friendly and professional and have ensured that an initially reluctant Aunt now looks forward to her visits. It's also important to the family to know that she is at least having a substantial meal and human interaction every day and also to have someone in a position to raise any concerns via daily updates.

Just Ask Care and Support have given my brother wonderful and caring support on a twice daily basis, since his release from hospital, with a diagnosis of terminal cancer. They are always bright and interactive, lifting my brother's spirit and, importantly allowing him to retain his dignity. My brother
has greatly benefited from them bouncing through the door and helping him deal with his often confused state of mind. The management team are additionally very helpful in the administration and practical problems that frequently occur. I live some distance from my brother and knowing that this team is looking after him is a huge relief. Many thanks from the whole family.

If anyone is looking for a care company in the Skipton area, Just Ask is excellent.
My mum, who was adamant that she didn’t need carers, is more than happy to have a couple of visits every day and is extremely pleased with the care and attention she receives.
Recently when Mum was suddenly taken ill,
her carer arranged for an ambulance and stayed with her until the ambulance arrived, even though her shift had officially ended. It’s so lovely when someone goes the extra mile.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for looking after my mum for the past 12 months, especially to the wonderful carers who have visited every day, and made life easier for me and my mum. A big thank you to those in the office too, who are always willing to listen and advise.
Just Ask has been so caring,
kind, and considerate at all times. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they would do everything possible to make life easy for my mum, who is now in a care home.

After a short stay in hospital & respite. Just Ask were recommended to care for my mother. I was dubious at first as mother “didn’t want anyone she didn’t know going into her house. I needn’t have worried. They go in 4 times a day and they are brilliant. She loves the company she gets from their visits
and they look after her so very well. The carers and management are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Mother has been able to stay in her own home, has everything she needs and is cared for which is what she wanted. Mother is happy so I’m happy. I promise that you won’t regret using Just Ask for you loved ones care. Thank you so much.

My mum has recently moved into a care home but prior to that her care needs were met by Just Ask. As my mum's health deteriorated the number of visits she needed was increased and the carers enabled her to live independently for much longer than would have been possible without them.
The carers were
kind, caring, upbeat and professional. My mum came to regard them as friends. I particularly liked the software that enabled me to monitor my mum and be aware of any issues without constantly phoning.
I would not hesitate in recommending Just Ask to anyone needing a care agency.

The carers at Just Ask Care and Support CIC have been wonderful at looking after Mum she has enjoyed their visits getting her up in the morning, showering when needed and making her lunch and doing any other tasks that need doing. Then arriving in the evening to assist her upstairs to bed. They have

Just Ask carers took care of my mum at home for approx 3 years. They assisted Mum three times a day with showering, dressing, preparing meals, giving medication etc. They were very friendly, kind and professional. If ever there was a problem with Mum they would let us know and keep us updated on how
she was. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped with the washing up, putting the rubbish out and bringing bits of shopping that Mum had run out of. Mum looked forward to their visits every day. Their help was invaluable. I would definitely recommend them.
