The carers at Just Ask Care and Support CIC have been wonderful at looking after Mum she has enjoyed their visits getting her up in the morning, showering when needed and making her lunch and doing any other tasks that need doing. Then arriving in the evening to assist her upstairs to bed. They have always been reliable, friendly and chatty, special mention to the two members of staff who have looked after Mum from the very beginning.
Just Ask carers took care of my mum at home for approx 3 years. They assisted Mum three times a day with showering, dressing, preparing meals, giving medication etc. They were very friendly, kind and professional. If ever there was a problem with Mum they would let us know and keep us updated on how she was. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped with the washing up, putting the rubbish out and bringing bits of shopping that Mum had run out of. Mum looked forward to their visits every day. Their help was invaluable. I would definitely recommend them.
My father lives alone and suffers from dementia, Just Ask visits twice daily and we can't recommend them enough. They are kind warm and caring and he really enjoys their visits. They make him breakfast and administer his medication and return in the evening and serve him a hot meal and administer medication. They always make sure there is time for a chat. Nothing is too much trouble and they are willing to help out if we need extra care from time to time. They have really taken a weight of my shoulders. Can't thank them enough.
My dad is 88 years old and has 100% mental capacity, but with minor physical/mobility issues; Just Ask provides him with the perfect assistant. If you cannot manage alone but do not require full personal assistance, these are your people. Think about the old-style "home help" as opposed to "carer". Dad's visit includes a clean throughout of the important stuff;(bathroom, kitchen, bed changed, laundry assist with a shave, in and out of the shower, can wash himself, assist walk to the bedroom, foot care, shoes, socks on can dress top half any minor little extras, rubbish bins out letter posted etc) Just Ask, sounds cliché, simple as that. I have worked in a social/elderly care/senior support worker for 30 years, so I know what is important. I have absolutely no negatives for this company. Friendly, caring, pleasant, efficient, prompt, reliable and as Dad has a great sense of humour, pleasant interaction with respect and dignity. Just Ask's support to me has improved my life also, as I no longer worry.
Thank you to Just Ask for the terrific service they have provided to my stepfather over the past four months. He was extremely reluctant to accept home help and personal care, but thanks to their competence and friendliness, he has been won over! They listen to his needs and wishes and work with him in a friendly and generous manner. They turn up on time and are happy to respond to last-minute requests. The service they provide is not only a huge help to him but also gives me peace of mind as I live 300 miles away. I'm very grateful to all the staff.
I would be happy to recommend this company and have.
I would like to recommend Just Ask for the amazing care service they provided for my dad from July 2021 to Feb 2022, before he went into care. My mum was struggling to look after my dad, who has dementia, but Just Ask allowed us to keep him at home for an extra 6-months when his care was becoming too much for her to manage. The team were very attentive, keen to listen and discuss his needs and were keen to help in any way they could. In addition to the morning care service which they provided, they offered an occasional sitting service, sometimes at very short notice, and did extra tasks like administering a PCR test and dropping it at the post box. They advised my mum after my dad had a fall and made her feel that she wasn't on her own. They took a lot of pressure off my mum, and my dad really warmed to them all. Thank you so much to the team for providing a fabulous service.
The wonderful care team became part of our family over the years. They have been exceptional - persistently going above and beyond to care for both our parents over the years. Always genuinely caring, respectful and so, so diligent in every aspect of care. My mother experienced numerous Rheumatoid flare-ups, which incapacitated her and resulted in the need to increase her care package to two nurses for each visit rather than just one. Always on a Friday and at very short notice, this wonderful team pulled out all the stops, with the help of our wonderful social worker, to support my mum until extra support from the local hospital could step in and review to support. These have been really stressful times for us as a family, but the management team and carers alike, did everything they could to support us. This is the level of dedication they had.
Just Ask Care have been amazing supporting my mother for the past 2-years. They have never missed a visit, even through the challenging times of the pandemic. I can't thank them enough for all their excellent high-quality help. All staff are trained to a high standard and open to listening to any specific needs a person has in order to make the experience for the person being cared for much better. I work full-time and can feel at ease that my mother is being cared for to the highest standard while I am not around. All staff are really friendly and genuinely care. I can't recommend them enough.
The whole organisation is compassionate at every level. The carers are empathetic, patient, observant and also have such a good sense of humour (which you need with dementia!) and a sunny disposition. The entire staff from management to the carers and cleaners, always go the extra mile and are dependable and reliable.
I really cannot recommend them highly enough! Thank you!
I cannot thank Just Ask enough, and I highly recommend them, without reservation, to anyone looking for carers.
I wish to thank you so much for the fantastic care you have given to my mother. Without exception, every girl that visited my mother was professional, understanding and caring, and they became good friends with my mother. The care you gave was beyond our expectations, and she really looked forward to the calls, loving their friendliness and lovely chats. She will really miss their calls but is looking forward to her move. Thank you for everything you have done; we would really recommend Just Ask.
From my initial contact at the office, I would without hesitation recommend Just Ask. All the carers I met were thoughtful, caring, professional, totally dedicated to their profession. Without a doubt, they are outstanding.
All the staff at Just Ask are absolutely wonderful. We cannot praise them enough for the care they give to our dad. They go above and beyond in everything they do. They are a lifeline for us as a family and enable our dad to live independently. They are all extremely hard-working and thoughtful.
As a family, we have been very impressed with and grateful for all the support my Mum has received in her home and how much this enabled her to stay at home for such a long time when her health was declining. The carers were all very compassionate and efficient and made a real effort to get to know Mum and care and support her in the best ways for her. It was always very reassuring for us a family who live and work a distance from our Mum to know we had Just Ask staff to rely on and it was an exceptional level of support and contact we were given at times when we had concerns, especially at night calls. Without hesitation, we would recommend this service and would add that it was always a positive and helpful experience contacting the office and speaking to the Management of the service.
Just Ask helps me to remain in my own home. It gives peace of mind to my daughter that I see someone each day and that I am given my medication and a meal.
Any issues have been dealt with promptly.
My husband has Parkinson's Disease and we are both in our 80's. I could not cope without the help of 'Just Ask'. We have a carer who comes every weekday morning to get my husband out of bed, to toilet, then shower etc and dress. We have a different carer at weekends. What I really appreciate is that most of the time we have the same carers so lots of people aren't coming into our home, especially during this Covid pandemic and they wore PPE before it was compulsory. All the carers we have come into contact with are dedicated to their work. They will do anything - one has to 'Just Ask'. They do the job in hand professionally with patience and kindness. The management team work with their carers and all are very understanding and concerned with how to make life easier for my husband and me. The service they give is outstanding.
I have enjoyed using this service and found it completely satisfactory. The girls are pleasant, helpful and kind and will do anything I ask them. The kindness goes beyond duty and takes a lot of stress out of my life.
I have found the care services to be reliable, compassionate and capable across a broad range of needs. My mum has had a few health and domestic crises and Just Ask have been able to sort out some tricky situations. This has been very important for me especially as my own health has not been good over this last year. The best reference we can give as a family is my mum's acceptance and genuine appreciation of the visits. As a proud and independent lady, she has found it difficult to adjust to the necessity of ongoing care but now trusts and values the visits, and has enjoyed the social interactions with the different carers. In fact despite her increased physical problems, Mum is more cheerful and sociable now than she was before her care package.
