It has made such a difference in the last few challenging months due to both the covid situation and my husband's deteriorating health to have a regular team of carers with whom we feel comfortable and confident in their ability to do the job with compassion, empathy and professionalism.
We appreciate the extra mile they have often gone beyond the normal care plan e.g. collecting medication from the pharmacy and coming to the house in quick response to an emergency. I am also appreciative of visits to me when my husband has been admitted to hospital.
Many thanks go to the team for all the kindness, consideration, humour and hard work in helping to make life that is often difficult, that much easier.
I am pleased with the care that I am getting. Excellent with me. When I ring, the management is very helpful. I would recommend this care provider to a friend and someone who asks me. Thank you.
Just Ask have looked after Mum for the last 6 months and I can’t speak highly enough of them. The care and support provided has been exceptional and so much more than we could have hoped for. The carers are kind, supportive, professional and treated Mum with the utmost dignity and respect. Nothing was too much trouble, and their visits were tailored as Mum's needs changed, and through the challenges of lockdown. They have happily run errands, liaised with doctors, overseen medication - in addition to daily personal care. We are so grateful for all that Just Ask have done for Mum and Dad, and the friendships that have been made along the way, would not hesitate to recommend their services.
Excellent in every way.
The team at Just Ask are fabulous and they help my dad with everything he currently needs. I know I can call them any time if I have any worries. I live a few hours away and I know they can help my dad with day to day activities and errands as well as making sure he takes his medications. They are very professional and caring and my dad is really happy with everything they do.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Just Ask to anyone who required their help.
All the staff at Just Ask have been excellent at caring for my dad (and mum when she was alive) which is so important to me as I live in Canada. The carers' support during lock-down was exemplary, providing him physical and emotional support and basically friendship. When I was concerned when he got very sick they contacted his doctor without delay and upping his care was done efficiently and quickly. I can only say good things about this service and would recommend them to anyone requiring in-home care.
Just Ask was the third care team helping me since I came out of hospital. You don't need anybody else. 100% the very best! A fantastic team and highly recommended. A very well run business, 100% reliable in all their endeavours, very well done.
Most important to mention is how responsive we have found Just Ask to be. Mum's needs are changing almost on a daily basis. As each new need has arisen, Just Ask have been supportive and conscientious. The operations manager has been fantastic in maintaining a hands-on approach and attention to detail, frequently attending, along with the usual carers to check that Just Ask is meeting Mum and Dad's needs. I remain confident that as Mum's health deteriorates that Just Ask will continue to meet her needs.
The carers are all really friendly and approachable. My mother was not the easiest of characters but they were very patient and caring. As her caring needs changed I was well supported with additional slots fitted in, to keep my mother longer in her own flat.
The family are all so grateful for their involvement.
Positive items: The people from Just Ask whom we have met have all been lovely people with a caring and helpful manner. They aim to be flexible and cater for most needs. They are reliable.
Room for improvement: I would suggest they need some training in the area of dementia - and my sister and I get frustrated at difficulties in contacting them or getting a reply to emails.
All of the team are caring and mum enjoys their visits. They properly engage with her rather than doing a 'tick box' exercise. If anything crops up, such as new or different care needs then a quick call to the office gets it included in the daily schedule and the whole team seem to be updated with the changes. Equally, the team advise me (or attending family) of any concerns. The team leave comprehensive notes for each visit which is really useful to the family who use them to organise any other changes in the daily routine.
It is good to have one consistent team providing familiar faces for mum. I have full confidence in them.
Excellent, reliable, high standard level of care. Engaging, empathetic and thorough staff. The service provides for all eventualities, giving confidence to Family; from shopping: liaising with other care agents / GPs, arranging pharmacy deliveries, to escorting to appointments. Highly recommended.
My mum was reluctant at first regarding carers coming into her home after she was discharged from hospital. However, the care and understanding she has received from her carers has been wonderful. She looks forward to their visits (twice a day) and it is reassuring to know that someone is checking up on her. There are a number of carers who go above and beyond what we expected eg. calling in at shops if mum is running out of something, some will stop and have a chat and cup of tea with her and even when they have time off taking her for a coffee in town. Mum is very lonely at times and loves company and the compassion and friendship her carers have offered has been wonderful. Thank you!!! We greatly appreciate everything you do for mum.
I have rated the care/support as good as we only experienced their service for a short time before our relative went into respite care, however, I would definitely recommend this service.
Review on behalf of my Mum. Mum was extremely reluctant to have strangers in her home but once she got to know the girls she was very happy. She said they were all lovely. Nothing is too much for them. Very caring. Sorry when she had to give the service up. Many thanks to you all.
