I knew that after my total knee teplacement surgery I would not be able to cope as I live alone. As a consequence, the twice daily appearance of the lovely carers who came to see me daily for six weeks was more than welcome. In actual fact I didn't really need much in the way of nursing, except with the putting on of compression socks but for practical things such as helping to change my bed and puttin out the bins. The best thing of all was the genuine kindness and cheery demeanour with which they greeted me every day...plus the cups of tea which they regularly made

I have received the services of a carer from LAPIS CARE each morning since September 2025.

During that time I have found that the carers have met my needs with courtesy, being both efficient and seeking to respond to my needs with a friendly smile. I recommend LAPIS CARE as a care service which can be relied upon.

My father has been receiving daily personal care visits from Lapis for a few months now, and we've been really impressed. The carers are consistently warm, respectful, and attentive - they take the time to understand his needs and treat him with real dignity. It's clear they genuinely care about the people they look after.
The office team have also been excellent. Communication is straightforward and responsive, which makes a big difference when you're coordinating care for a family member. Any questions or adjustments have been handled quickly and without fuss.

It's given our family a lot of peace of mind knowing he's in good hands. Highly recommended.

"Lapis Care has been an absolute blessing for our family. They've provided care for my mum and dad, both of whom have dementia, with remarkable compassion and professionalism. The carers are not only reliable and attentive, but also deeply understanding of the challenges of dementia. It's clear they care deeply, treating my parents with dignity and warmth. I couldn't recommend them more highly."

Having used Lapis care for another relative I had no issues with using Lapis to care for my brother. All staff are so friendly and helpful to my brother who has ongoing needs. He enjoys the help and company they provide every day. It also gives me peace of mind to know that he has someone calling every morning to help with whatever he might need. I have always found all staff friendly trustworthy and very considerate towards my brother. He says he enjoys their visits as they give him the reassurance he needs to be able to stay in his own home

Mums 93 and living with me .
Lapis care really does listen and care and provide a very high standard of personalised care . If only I knew of them 16 years ago .
The strain of caring and keeping mum safe has been immense.

To have Lapis on board has taking alot of pressure off of me . The care staff are so kind and professional and all want to provide the best care for mum in her late stage of her Altzimers . I have never been so happy as to have that knock at the door knowing help has arrived . Mums care started in September 2025 and they stepped in immediately when mums carer left unexpectedly. Ever since that day they have worked around and adjusted to mums needs with me with this unpredictable illness . I now have peace of mind that mum will have the best care possible and Lapis will support me as they have from the beginning with kindness and understanding. As carers we are often forgotten by society but you're not alone with lapis care .

Very flexible service provided despite being changed by us at short notice. Kind, friendly and professional carers including a willingness to undertake the provision of transport to a local hospital and the return journey.

Carers were prompt and reliable. Hands on care provided. Lapis enabled us to have live in care on a previous recent occasion. Fees were very reasonable. Strongly recommended.

Lapis Care provided first class care to Mum for three years until her death at the age of 96 in June of this year.

Not only did they provide dignified personal care to Mum, but were always available to give advice to me on Mum's (and my) ongoing needs. They quickly picked up on Mum's love of singing and Mum was greatly cheered by the many "sing-songs" that took place on their visits. At the end of Mum's life, their support was invaluable. A truly professional company with a heart and a soul.

Lapis are absolutely fantastic. They have given such good care to my dad at home. The carers are all so kind. They know and understand my dad and my dad knows them all really well and really enjoys their company. Two members of staff have been fantastic with supporting my dad's complex needs and updating us regularly and have gone and above and beyond to make him happy and comfortable at home. It is a huge weight off my mind living far away to know that my dad is in such good and caring hands. I can't recommend them enough.

Lapis Care provide carers for my father & mother in law who are both in their late 90's and are frail elderly. They respond to each of them as individuals tailoring the times of their visits to meet the individual needs. They are responsive if there is an issue - always phoning to highlight issues so that it or they can be addressed in a timely manner. They are professional in their manner but are always kind, considerate and polite to my parents in law. My parents in law like all their carers - enjoying their smiles and talking to them about everyday things which widens their world.
Lapis Care do formal reviews of care every 6 months to ensure that all needs are reviews and care plans can be amended to reflect my in laws on going needs .

Lapis care have just commenced doing fish & chip Fridays once a fortnight - this has been lovely by my mother in law who now does not have to cook on that day

Reply from Lena Mesurier, Registered Manager at Lapis Care

We are thrilled to hear that the Fish & Chip Friday coming back has helped to reduce the work load, it's certainly been a huge hit with all the client base. Working so closely with you and having the consistency and continuity is key. Thank you for your kind words.

It was suggested to me that I had some help with my husband who has Vascular Dementia. I was worried as to how he would react to a stranger helping with personal care.
As previous 'Captain of Industry' he had a strong preference for efficiency and always valued diligence.
I was unsure how he would react to this new routine.
I needn't have worried, the carers come in with a smile on their faces and a cheerful 'hello and how are you today?'
They are a professional and compassionate team and he hasn't complained.

Lapis Care is an established company that was recommended to me and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Reply from Lena Mesurier, Registered Manager at Lapis Care

It is wonderful to hear the package of care is going so well. Our team are highly skilled and trained in Dementia and other medical conditions due to being a nurse led company. It Is also about treating our clients with dignity and respect and of course the teams approach. Our moto is to treat all clients as we would our own parent/loved ones. Best wishes, The Lapis Team.

Carers coming into mum and dads have given us the peace of mind that they are having the best start they can to each day.
All the carers at Lapis Care are naturally caring, hardworking, kind and extremely reliable. They have been flexible in coping with both our parents differing needs and their concerns. They have gone out of their way for us on a number of occasions and the updates provided by the carers on a daily basis are invaluable.

We are really not sure what we would do without them.

The client is a private single lady, who doesn't take to intrusion easily, so it was quite a lifestyle change to have to be looked after! Lapis took on the task, and in the main established a good rapport with her that delivered the care and attention she needed. We were recommended Lapis Care at a time when it was just "meant to be". In order to keep our Dad safe and happy in his own familiar environment, we needed to find a provider who would be able to cope with his complex medical needs and Lapis Care was the perfect fit! From my very first telephone call, I was given reassurance that Lapis would be able to help and after a preliminary meeting and assessment, we were given immediate help with 3 visits per day. It was so lovely to see Dad gelling so quickly with his carer and, straightaway, a whole lot of worry was lifted from our shoulders. Not only did she deal with medicines and creams, but she prepared his meals and - probably most importantly, she made Dad feel relaxed with her friendly chat and sense of humour, really special to witness! Unfortunately, Dad's rapidly deteriorating condition meant that we quickly had to let go of this wonderful service and source round-the-clock, live-in care. We will forever remember and miss you. Thank you!

I can not thank you enough for your kind words, that is what Lapis Care is about. Supporting clients and families, when it's needed the most. Your wonderful Dad is an absolute gem, with a wonderful sense of humour. You as a family warm my heart and show how it should be done. If you ever require any support in the future we will do everything in our power to make that happen. Best wishes.
