I am extremely grateful to have found Lapis Care for my Mum. They have been absolutely fantastic and I can highly recommend them. All of the nurses/caregivers have been very professional, compassionate and understanding. They even supported my dad too at difficult times during my Mum's illness. The app on which they recorded details of the care provided each day ensured peace of mind for me and good communication throughout. Thank you to the entire team at Lapis Care for all your help and support over the last 5 months - it has been hugely appreciated!

Lapis staff looked after Mum in her late 90's, as her health deteriorated. The care and kindness shown to Mum were both professional and personal. Mum looked forward to staff visits and made friends with the carers. During the several health crises which Mum endured, Lapis supported Mum and kept the wider family involved. The supervisor and staff were particularly good when Mum had some serious problems towards her last weeks at home, helping with getting Mum discharged appropriately from her hospital stays. It is also clear that they have a good relationship with the bodies administering support for adult care, which made the process of getting financial support more transparent. On a personal note, they are lovely people. Mum died recently but I am so glad she had Lapis caring for her for those last few years.

Great help to keep my brother in his own place for as long as was safe. Lovely carers, who he formed relationships with and he looked forward to visits. Great communication from all involved. Thank you from all his family.

The nurses have been looking in on Mum three times a day, of the past 6 months and twice daily for over a year prior to that. The staff are wonderful. Friendly and yet professional in everything they do. My brother was kept informed about Mum, and I was able to check daily on the internet. I would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending this company and the staff. Extremely grateful for their support and help with looking after Mum.

My mum was looked after by the team from Lapis Care for many months leading up to her death in October. They were simply outstanding. Mum became very difficult to look after and needed exceptional support to keep her settled and well. The Lapis Care team were led by their brilliant supervisor who enabled consistent, reliable sensitive care. In the last month, my sister and I needed reassurance and guidance, this was coordinated right up to mum being moved into a care home. The team supported finding the home care needed, the medical liaison with the doctor and the social care team. We needed this help as mum was so disorientated whilst we all managed her medical conditions. It's true they certainly go more than the extra mile. We laughed and cried together and were even supported at mum's funeral. I cannot praise the Manager and her team enough, Well done. Mum, often said how lucky she was to have Lapis Look after her. Thank you for all the help love and support last year.

We are so lucky to have Lapis Care as the company looking after our precious little mum. Realising she needed more time devoted to her than my sister and I could manage with commitments to our own families, it was Lapis Care who stepped in to help. They are devoted, caring, professional, gentle, funny, kind, generous and so many other attributes. Mum loves their calls and trusts them all with all her needs.

My husband received outstanding care from Lapis. The carers were all very efficient, very kind and above all they did their work amazingly cheerfully. My husband, who became increasingly disabled, (Parkinson's disease) looked forward to seeing their friendly faces each morning despite the process of getting him up and dressed being quite painful for him.

At the end of his life, they kept him comfortable and peaceful. They looked after him for five years and they never once let us down. I am eternally grateful for their kindness and help.

Lapis Care has been looking after Mum in her home for three months following a five-month period in hospital and a short time in a care home. Mum, at 93, has mobility and medical challenges but wanted to be in her home. I am absolutely blown away by the professionalism of all the staff looking after Mum and the management team. The wealth of experience in all areas of care is so reassuring to her and the family. The whole team at Lapis are caring, kind, respectful and compassionate and all have a great sense of humour and make Mum feel happy and relaxed. They never rush Mum, are thorough with all her care needs and go that extra mile to go above and beyond to ensure Mum is comfortable and her house is left clean and tidy after each call. We never imagined having a care company looking after Mum would feel like family, Lapis are that extended family who we completely trust to keep Mum safe and professionally cared for. The app is amazing, keeping the family informed about times and care given.

I urgently needed some support for my Grandfather who was at the end of his life and we suddenly found ourselves not coping with all of it as a family. As a very experienced cancer nurse in the NHS, it fell to me to try and source care. I spent a lot of time on the phone trying to arrange this personal care alongside medical end of life care at extremely short notice. The management team at Lapis Care went completely out of their way to support us as a family and provided care at the drop of a hat. The care they provided was exemplary and ensured that my grandfather had a very dignified last few hours. It will never be forgotten and was so hugely appreciated by the whole family.

Really friendly, professional and helpful. Always there when you need them, really good communication and plenty of notice for any changes. Staff are polite and respectful which is so important, they put you at ease. They have a very difficult and demanding job, trying to please everyone. Always there with a smile, lovely team of people!

I found the girls very good, helpful and very friendly. I was sorry that I couldn't continue with them as I wanted more care, and Lapis couldn't give me more.

We've been delighted with the care we receive every day. Our carers are sympathetic, friendly and thorough. If for any reason they can't be on time, they tell us by text/telephone in advance.

As well as the practical side of things, we appreciate the chatty supportive way they keep our spirits up. We would be lost without them.

Communication has been fabulous and we are very happy with her care and so is mum.

My mother needed extra TLC as an Alzheimer’s sufferer but still living independently. The lockdowns had left her feeling isolated and lonely and she was struggling to socialise again where she lives. Lapis Care organised 2 weekly visits at very short notice and I was so impressed with their professionalism, expertise in this field and most importantly, their compassion, kindness and understanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble and there was great feedback and helpful insightful notes and observations. Highly, highly recommended - I can’t thank them enough for their help at this time.
