Home Instead Bexhill & Hastings is a local, quality home care provider and part of the national, award-winning Home Instead family. They provide support and assistance enabling people to remain at home where they are most happy, safe and comfortable. The care is highly personalised and built around the needs of each individual and always in accordance with the client’s wishes and needs.

Home Instead CAREGivers have a heart of gold and are fully trained, referenced and DBS checked. They will visit when you want them to, at a time that is convenient to you and you will always see the same CAREGivers, giving that continuity of care that is so important.

CAREGivers are always introduced to their clients. It is Home Instead's aim is to find a great match in personality and interests so that there is common ground for companionship, conversation and care. All their visits are for a minimum of one hour.

Families can know that their loved ones are in excellent hands, being cared for with respect, dignity and compassion. Home Instead will give you peace of mind when you cannot be there, its CAREGivers will be providing companionship and care as they would to their own loved ones.

At Home Instead, they understand that inviting someone into your home to provide personal care service can be daunting and that is why they only select CAREGivers who have a real caring nature, with empathy and a devotion to providing the highest quality care experience. All CAREGivers have the professional knowledge to take care of people with an understanding of the associated conditions of ageing which can affect activities of daily living.

Home Instead Bexhill has cared for my mother for almost 2 years and has always provided wonderful care. They matched Mum with a very kind Care Professional, and the continuity of care meant Mum built up a warm relationship with her. Cover was always provided seamlessly if required, and any other Care
Professional who was sent provided the same level of great care. Home Instead kept us in the loop (as we live a distance away) and were always ready to provide any additional help required. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead Bexhill. My Mum has just moved out of the area recently, and we are currently in the process of setting up a similar arrangement with the local Home Instead office as the level of service and care Mum has received in Bexhill has been outstanding.

Home Instead cared for my parents over a period of 2 years, showing exceptional care, and great flexibility as their needs changed over the time. It meant my parents could stay in their home for much longer than was anticipated, and when it was time for them to go into care, Home instead were so helpful,
and ensured a smooth transaction.
I would recommend the Bexhill team to anyone - they were so lovely and caring.

The carer who attends my mother is thorough and always extremely friendly and careful towards my mother's requirements. There has been occasion recently when she went away for a week and another carer took her place. She was equally as careful and thorough. We cannot fault Home Instead Bexhill.

My mother insisted on living alone in her home and doesn't want to move into a nursing home. In her mid 90's this can be very worrying for her family. A year of so ago we discovered Home Instead, which have been life savers. She has bonded well with her caregivers and really looks forward to their visits.
It's the company that she needs, people to speak to and the odd visit to the shops and library. They go out of their way to make sure that she is happy and provide a very caring service which goes beyond the call of duty. The director keeps us updated of any problems that might arise and I would recommend their services to anyone wishing to remain in their own home and feel independent. They offer a first class service.

This is an excellent service that provides a great deal of comfort to my elderly mother for whom I am Power of Attorney. My mother is quite frail and likes to visit her husband's grave regularly to place flowers and remember him. The home care provider helps her with this even to the extent of going
for her to place flowers when she is unwell or unable to go. The home care visits are essential to my mother's well being and worth every penny. I have no hesitation in recommending them very strongly.

My mother who is in her 90s was a client of Home Instead for approximately 2 years. Living at home alone with Alzheimer's, the team provided the much-needed support that she needed. They prompted her with medication, assisted her with meal preparation and provided her with coffee and company! Visits
were an hour long and the carers went above and beyond for mum.
Wherever possible there was continuity of care so that Mum got to know one or two key workers, so important for someone living with dementia.
I thought that the service provided was professional and caring and I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone looking for reliable, first-class care in their own home.

The team are incredibly caring and flexible and really keep an eye on the needs of my father and let me know promptly about any concerns especially as we don’t live nearby. The individual carers have been as consistent as possible and have been a great help.

My very independently minded mother loves her visits from her friends at Home Instead. I was fortunate to be able to reinstate the service at extremely short notice when another avenue closed after my mother returned from a long stay with my brother abroad.
I live too far away to cope with emergencies
quickly and the team in Bexhill have always managed to get there and take control.
I would strongly recommend their services, friendly, personable carers with a great backup team in the office.

Absolutely priceless care and guidance for one of the most challenging tasks of my life; navigating my father's decline from fierce and total independence to accepting care at home. The director and her team were as much support for me as they were for my father as they patiently found the right team
and support package. A solution that gave him another 4 years of proudly living independently. His situation has now moved on, but he still asks with great affection after the team that gave him so much dignity and freedom.

Thank you to Home Instead (Bexhill and Hastings) for the kindness and encouragement you have shown my Mum. You support her to be as independent as she can and she knows she can rely on her ‘ladies'. She likes and has confidence in them all, and new staff are always introduced to her, so she doesn’t
have any unexpected visitors! She enjoys her walks and her chats with the carers and she appreciates the help for things she struggles with. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone with a loved one who is feeling lonely or in need of support and company. Thank you!

The CareGivers were very reliable, helpful and friendly both towards our elderly parents who they cared for and to us when we visited. They were always keen to add benefit to the care they gave, such as bathing our Mum and helping Dad with his socks.

We engaged the services of “Home instead” when our mum had been diagnosed with a terminal illness, and I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Following a visit by the manager, we were introduced to the staff who would assist with my mum's care, and we found them to be professional, very

We have employed Home Instead to help my father who lives independently in warden assisted accommodation. As his needs have increased during lockdown etc, Home Instead have been able to increase their care, while retaining the same core team of carers. We, and he, could not have managed without them.

From the very beginning, the team at Home Instead (Bexhill and Hastings) has provided us with complete kindness and understanding in helping Mum to be able to return to her own home. All the caregivers have encouraged and cajoled Mum, in the nicest possible way, into eating more, drinking more and in
building up her strength. They always seem to do way beyond what is expected and I know that Mum looks forward to their company. She enjoys chatting with them and loves showing them photos of her great-grandchildren. It is the little extras that mean such a lot to us; collecting prescriptions, regular messages if there is a problem and always being there to listen and give advice.
Knowing that Mum is being looked after so well and that she is safe in her home has been invaluable and I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough.

I cannot praise all the staff of Home Instead Bexhill enough.
My parents have 9 carers and I like them all. My dad calls them angels and acknowledges that he could not cope without them.
I feel that they are part of the family - part of our team.
I can say with absolute certainty that I could not
cope without the care and support and each one goes the 'extra mile'. Nothing is too much trouble.
I have recommended Home Instead to my friend with elderly parents and will continue to do so.

I live six hours drive away from my 96-year-old mother. Visiting and sorting problems was difficult even before the pandemic but now almost impossible. Home Instead Senior Care have been exceptional over the years they have been helping my mother to live independently. The care ranged from washing and
cooking when she came out of hospital to a weekly shop and companionship. This was all done with real compassion and understanding for the woman who still sees herself as 25. Many thanks.

I don't know how my brother and I would cope without the knowledge that Dad is being so well cared for by Home Instead. Throughout lockdowns and other Covid restrictions Dad has had carers twice a day, shopping done, trips out in the car when allowed, washing and cleaning of the flat. Whenever there
is a concern, we are notified at once. Even if it's just a worry that Dad is a bit low in spirits. The best decision we have made in a long time was contacting Home Instead and that was by recommendation from another client.

Hello, I am Caroline and the owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Bexhill, Battle, St Leonards and Hastings and I am proud to have opened this office and to be able bring to the local community the unique experience of Home Instead Senior Care. I have personal experience of caring for a loved one and I know that we get one opportunity to deliver the right type of care to our clients and we strive to do this every time.


We are a local family run office, providing non-medical services to help older people in our local community so they can remain in their own homes where they are most comfortable and happiest.


Many families these days have huge pressures on their time and often don’t live locally to their loved ones. This is why we want to be able to give people peace of mind knowing that when they can’t be there, we will be providing companionship and care services just as they would want.
