They have been providing care for me for over three years and I don't know what I would do without them.
During this time they have never let me down, if there's anything causing a delay they let me know.
I like and trust them all. I don't have a "favourite " as they're all looking after me very well indeed.
My family feels very happy that their standard of care is excellent.
The Manager, Rhiannon, always keeps an eye on me and alll her Clients .
She is very helpful and quick to respond if needed.
I keep telling everyone I know to join 1OAK if they require home care.
I couldn't rate them more highly.
Thank you for the wonderful review. It is a pleasure for the whole team to support you and provide care in a way that suits you - After all, it is your care, your home, your way!
I think how I have marked my care says it all. And it is very much appreciated it's certainly made a difference to my life. Thankyou to all concerned. I look forward to my block visits it's good company for me..all in all I'm very happy.
It is an absolute pleasure to spend time with you - the whole team love visiting and all their nicknames you give them!
1 Oak has been a great source of help and support in my husband's care journey. Our experience with them for the 6 months they have been providing care for my husband 3 times a day has been great. They are flexible and ready to change things around to meet his care needs, which we really appreciate. They have a variety of caring staff, friendly and kind. They are happy to learn from mistakes. The manager and the office staff are great. They are always available for any queries and ready to listen, understanding and approachable. And the manager always try to look for different ways to resolve a matter as quickly as possible. Though, i still feel that a few of the staff are inexperienced, maybe a more thorough training will help. And a more experienced staff needs to work with the inexperienced ones for some time before they are sent out alone in the community. In general, i see great potential in 1 Oak care agency and we are happy with the care they are providing for husband.
During the recent hot weather advice was sent out to remind people how best to look after themselves and keep safe. Links were sent to us to keep Mum hydrated in different ways such as high water content food and jelly drops all of which we used and put in place. We are very happy with the support and care that we have received and will continue to be guided in keeping all of Mums care needs met.
Thank you for the lovely review - it is so important to us to get feedback! Caring for your Mum is an honour and it is a pleasure to be part of her care and support.
They are flexible and respond in a timely manner to changes in mum in law's condition and give valuable advice.
Continuity of care which is so important in dementia care is maintained and the carers are kind and patient, with the ability to make mum in law smile even on a not so good day
I have no doubt that with the care and management team alongside me I will be able to achieve her wish to be looked after at home
And that is priceless
Thank you for your comprehensive and wonderful review of our team. It is an absolute pleasure to support your Mum-in-law, she really is a joy to help. Thanks from myself, the other managers and all the care team!
I hope that my wife's dementia will enable her to stay at home with the further help from carers.
Many Thanks for the lovely review of our care team. It is a pleasure to support you and your wife.
1 Oak"'s Registered Manager came to our home either just before or after the paramedics arrived. She was able to brief them on my wife's condition and gave us comfort knowing that help was immediately available should we have the need.
We have been clients of 1 Oak for the past two year's and have found all the carers to be very understanding and compassionate as we have seen my wife's condition deteriorate and helped me at the most stressful times.
Many thanks for the wonderful review of our team. We take pride that our team are there to support you and your family, whenever you need us. It has been a pleasure to be part of your wife's care journey.
Excellent service for personal care in the home for elderly people. Reliable, friendly use first names. They take time to get to know their client. Compassionate and give time to smile and talk and to give care in the home of all domestic and personal need nature. They are always kind, caring and polite. They take an interest in their clients needs and feelings and welfare. Alifeline to those who live alone. They were so kind to my mother when my father passed away last week. Sharing a tear in some cases...beyond the call of duty.
Thank you ever so much for the lovely review of our service. The team love visiting your Mum - they have all built such lovely bonds. Our thoughts are with you all, after your Father passed away.
Reliable and helpful staff. I am lucky enough to have a regular carer who lives in my village which makes sense, and she is used to my needs. When she is on holiday, I have different carers. The managing staff are helpful in caring for my needs when I have doctor, dentist and optician appointments and send carers to take me. When I have been ill, they have contacted my GP to get help.
Thank you so much for the review! It is an absolute pleasure to help you as much as possible. The carers love visiting and the management love to hear from you too!
How they remember so much is a miracle, where things are and my own particular needs.
Only one thing that they seem to lack any knowledge of is how to wash anyone's hair!!!!! As this must be part of the help and caring they give, I would have thought this was an essential part of caring.
They all give lots of extra tips too, and never seem to rush anything.
I would certainly recommend 1 Oak carers.
Thank you for your lovely review! I'm so happy to see the carers are all so supportive and you don't rush you!About the hair washing - I will see what I can do for offering guidance and training for your particular carers!
1 Oak have been incredibly supportive through a very difficult time with my elderly parents. They always go the extra mile to both provide first-class care and keep me informed of any issues. Highly recommended.
Thanks for the lovely review! It has been an absolute pleasure to support your parents. It is great to see that we are providing first-class care and the team are going the extra mile.
Thank you for the assistance and help in the weeks we have been with 1oak Home Care, and for the support from management and carers. The carers are very cheerful and pleasant to us all. We are very pleased with the attention and care they are delivering to our son. Thank you once again for the support.
Thanks for the lovely review. It is a pleasure to visit your home and care for your son. I'm glad to see the visits are cheerful and helpful.
We are happy with the regular care support and the response to emergency additional needs or out-of-hours requests. The care provided has become familiar and additional needs have been managed sensitively.
Many thanks for the review. I'm glad to see the team have managed any additional needs so well - and the care team love visiting!
We have found the carers provided by 1 Oak sympathetic, efficient and friendly. My mum was a bit resistant at first as she still thinks she can do everything but she does need reminding to take her medication which the carers do in a very gentle way. They also make her bed and tidy her room and bathroom which is a great help to me. At last I feel calm about Mum's care when I need to be away.
Thank you so much for the lovely review of our care team, Susan! It is our absolute pleasure to care for your mum and great to hear you are reassured when you are away.
Many thanks for the assistance and help you have given to us over the last weeks. We were relieved to have this support from your management and professional carers at a time it was most needed after my husband was discharged from hospital. We welcomed the carers' reliable and timely visits and the attentive, pleasant and very cheerful manner they all brought to their duty of care. Their help and support meant my husband recovered sufficiently to enable him to undertake his own personal care within a few weeks. Thank you again, we appreciate the constant support you all give to enable clients to live confidently in their own home.
Thank you for your lovely feedback - It was an absolute pleasure to care for your husband and support him as he recovered. All the best going forward to you both.
As her daughter, I live away and the peace of mind these visits have given me, by seeing the difference in my mum, is priceless.
That's lovely to hear! It is an absolute pleasure to care for your mum and we thoroughly enjoy visiting her.
We have been very happy with 1 Oak Home Care and so impressed with how lovely, kind and interesting all the carers are. My dad has absolutely enjoyed all of the people he has met. We have also managed, at the drop of a hat, to get extra help when we've needed it which is fantastic. I always get straight through to the office and speak to such helpful and happy staff. Very organised and friendly, it has made this transition to get help such a great experience. Thank you to all the team, we are so happy that we have found you. Highly recommended.
Thank you for the lovely review - it has been great to support your dad and getting to know him. I will pass on your comments to the office team too!
I would not hesitate to recommend 1 Oak to anyone needing in-home care.
Many thanks for the wonderful review! It’s great to see the team have adapted and supported your father and your family throughout the changes in needs.
1 Oak Home Care has been just what my dad and our family needed at a time of deep upset and uncertainty. They came to us with the utmost professionalism and went above and beyond to understand my dad’s needs, wants and wishes. They put us both at ease and made building strong relationships a focus. They are kind, considerate and thoughtful. They are highly trained compared to other care agencies and do their utmost to meet my dad’s wishes. Dad feels happy and comfortable with the 1 Oak staff. As Dad’s family, I have been informed of everything I need to know along the way and they have been very thorough in managing his medications. We happily recommend 1 Oak to anyone in need of care.
Thank you ever so much for the lovely review. It is an absolute pleasure to care for your dad and it's been fabulous to get to know him.
1 Oak Home Care is simply one of the best care companies that I have ever seen. The constant top-quality that they provide, not only to my partner but to myself as well, is amazing. The compassion that each caregiver shows is incredible and has made having them at our house a genuine pleasure, something that I thought nigh impossible due to my special needs but they work so well with myself and my partner that it has become a wonderful interaction that we look forward to each day. I can say with all certainty that our lives have been so very much improved since the day that they began coming to help care for my partner and we don't know where we would be if it weren't for the wonderful people going above and beyond each working day to make everything so much easier.
Thank you for the lovely review, Thomas. It is a pleasure to support you and your partner to achieve goals and see your lives change and improve.
