Overall Experience

I have had a lot of help from my carers and extra help during the longer hours. I have had a lot of support at my main meal times too. Very much appreciated and love their personalities. Have found sometimes my calls to the office request is noted but nothing has been done at times. I would like part to change for the better.

My dad passed away in July, up til then the girls that looked after dad were so good with him especially towards the end. Dad loved them coming round and just being his friend. I can't say enough good things about the care he received. Thanku PBL Care especially Naz and Eddie xx

Overall Experience
My brother moved into the supported accommodation two years ago and has been very comfortable and happy there.
The transition was very smooth and instilled a great deal of trust in the organisation and the staff, as we were regularly kept informed.
The staff met with us before the move and upon arrival. They have always been very transparent and great at communicating with us.

Everyone made him feel welcome and currently supports him, as and when he needs it. Great friendly staff team.

Having used the services of PBL Care, we found their care staff to be exceptionally polite and professional in their approach treating the service user with compassion and in a dignified manner. Our overall experience was extremely good due to the professionalism of their care staff. PBL carers emphasis on compassion, coupled with their attentive management and proficient staff creates an environment where the service users receive the highest standard of care possible. Overall Experience

PBL send good carers to help with my grandma and they are very considerate when looking after her. They promote her independence and create a happy environment around her. They help her with her meals and medication and keep the surrounding areas neat and tidy. They also speak to her in her own language making the experience less anxious and stressful for her.

PBL Care has provided excellent support in relation to the provision of respite living care for my grandmother after a fall and recent surgery. From the initial inquiry to the provision of the care service, the service has been first-rate. Two carers have been involved over the six-week period and all has been incredible with the oversight by the care manager. The fantastic software enables us to monitor progress and manage risks and complications that could have led to my grandma being admitted in to hospital. I would have no hesitation in recommending PBL Care to others. A Care Company with integrity!

I can't thank the care company enough for all they did for both of my parents. Dedicated carers and a team that listens and helps. It has been a difficult time for me over the past ten years caring for both parents and losing one. However, the company supported me throughout. I have had a few care companies before and after (had to change due to location and number of carers needed for my mother recently). Two companies were not even a touch on the dedication I got from PBL Care. I hope and pray they branch out into other areas and increase their staff so I could get them back!

Honestly, I feel they really do focus on the care and support for their clients. Thank you again, and wish the best to all there.

Overall Experience

PBL transformed the care experience for my late mother who suffered from vascular dementia amongst other health issues. Being extremely demanding, as one would for their mother, I had been through two other care services who had some great individuals amongst their staff but were not running well as an overall set-up. I saw how PBL worked as an effective team with clear values-led leadership from the top and excellent coordination on the ground. Their approach instantly reduced her anxiety enabling an almost near-normal return to the quality of life she had pre-diagnosis of her dementia - this, within a month. I cannot recommend this team more. In particular, we appreciated the cultural awareness demonstrated for my mother who had strong South East Asian traits in her way of life. PBL was extremely flexible in some acute situations and put us at ease ensuring my mother was always their top priority.
