We regularly receive excellent service and support from all the wonderful office staff who are in regular contact with us.
Thank you EDS.
Thank you ever so much for your kind review. It is truly heart-warming to hear the impact that our team has had on your mum, and your wider family too, we are extremely proud of all of our carers. It is also lovely to see our management team be mentioned in your review. Thank you, again!
I would just like to thank the staff so much they were coming to see my mum twice a day until her death yesterday cannot praise them enough they treated my mum with compassion, respect and dignity from coming in to leaving they were so polite and sometimes went above and beyond absolutely amazing care service and once again I cannot say enough good things about EDS HOMECARE
Thank you ever so much for taking the time to leave us this amazing review. We are honoured to have been able to be there for your mum and yourself during such a difficult time, and we are extremely proud of our team for their dignified and compassionate care delivery. Thank you again.
Since Mum was diagnosed with dementia over a year ago, she has been getting up to four visits each day from EDS staff. The visits make a really positive difference to mum, ensuring she takes her medication, eats regularly, has plenty of social contact and is able to keep on top of chores around the house. It's also hugely comforting to get online updates after each visit that reassures me that Mum is ok. The carers who visit are all fantastic and genuinely care about Mum. They've struck up a relationship that's part care, part friendship and it works really well. The central team at EDS are brilliant, cooperative, responsive, flexible, equally caring and extremely professional. I am so grateful for everything EDS do and would be at a loss without their outstanding service. I'd thoroughly recommend them to anyone in need of care for a family member.
Thank you for your kind and detailed review of our services. It is extremely appreciated and we are very pleased that your mum has built up a positive relationship with her care staff. We also greatly appreciate the recognition for our office staff, who work really hard behind the scenes to ensure our clients, such as your mum, receive the best service possible. Thank you again!
I am very happy with the care that I receive. My carers put me at ease when they come to me with their happy faces and know what they are doing and meeting all my needs. The carers always ask how I am and what I have been doing with myself during the day and I tell them because I was shy to start with, having had no carers before, so it was all new to me. I am ok with all who come. My sister is very pleased with the service and that they always make me a drink, to make sure I keep drinking which I have been told to do.
Thank you so much for your kind review, it is amazing to hear that you are comfortable and happy with our care despite this being a new experience for you, and that your family have also noticed the positive impacts of our service. Thank you again!
Knowing they would be coming roughly every 4 hours during the day, having their company, humour and knowledge helped me cope with a challenge I never had wanted to do and I was terrified of, I will always be eternally grateful.
I can't remember when EDS started supporting my Father to stay at home, but the visits and support were greatly appreciated by him, they became his friends, he admired how hard they worked and their dedication.
Thank you ever so much for your wonderful review - we are truly honoured that we were able to support you and your father during such a challenging time and that our hard-working staff were able to make a tough time that little bit easier for you. Thank you so much, again.
I'd recently asked for a tweak to call times and I was promised this as soon as rotas allowed which has now happened, really grateful.
Thank you for your kind review, it is extremely appreciated. Furthermore, following our check-in with you, thank you for your additional lovely feedback about the carers. We wish you all the best!
My husband was discharged from hospice at his request for end of life care. We chose EDS as his service provider based on their excellent reviews and proximity to us. We were not disappointed. The care provided by the whole team was beyond our expectations. His care needs were extensive, but the team ensured all needs and more were fully met. I am extremely grateful for their services at such a difficult time.
Thank you ever so much for your kind words about our service. We are so pleased that we could make such a difficult time for you and your husband that little bit easier, and we are, as always, very proud of our care team for the excellent services they continue to provide. Thank you again!
I needed help after breaking my arm. I have had 13 different cares in in the last month. I cannot complain about anyone of them. The have all been very careful around my injury. They have all treated me with respect, care and attention.
Thank you very much for your kind words about our services. We are very pleased that we have been a part of your journey. We are proud of our care team for the caring and safe service they provide daily. Thank you again!
My Dad recently had a fall, ended up in hospital and has needed additional support to get him back on his feet. EDS were able to respond at very short notice and were able to provide an extra care visit at the end of each day as he wasn't strong enough to be able to get ready for bed himself.
Living 200 miles away, working full time and needing support for Dad, I can't express enough how grateful I am that EDS were able to step in. All of the carers have been wonderful.
My Dad is very grateful, especially as he has managed to keep his independence.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. We are so pleased that we have consistently enabled your dad to balance his independence with safe and responsive care. As always, we are very proud of our care team for the brilliant work they put in to build positive connections with service users. Thank you again!
We cannot thank them enough for their help at our lowest time.
Thank you for your kinds words regarding our care staff. It is always our aim to ensure that the EOL period is as comfortable and dignified as possible for both our service users and their loved ones. We are very glad that our support has helped yourself and your family during an incredibly tough time; thank you for your lovely review, once again.
We needed a care provider to step in at short notice when my mother was discharged back to home after a spell in hospital/therapy bed. EDS were very professional and empathetic right from the off and quickly put in place a care plan, accommodating mum's needs perfectly. Never having had carers before, it was important that the care team hit it off with mum, and they have all been great. After a very challenging time in her life, EDS are doing a great job helping mum settle in to the "new normal". The culture and "family feel" of the business comes through.
Thank you ever so much for your lovely review. We often provide packages of care at short notice and are therefore proud to enable people to come home as per their wishes. We are also extremely pleased that a time full of change and uncertainty for your mum, has been made easier by our wonderful caring staff. Thank you again!
Highly recommend this company for their professional empathetic kind and lovely natured carers who were absolutely fantastic in our time of need xxx
Thank you ever so much for your lovely review, it means a lot to us to be recognised in this way and we are so pleased that we could make such an impact during your dad's final days. Thank you again and we wish you and your family all the best!
When diagnosed with a terminal illness who should you call. My mother in this case was diagnosed with bowel cancer which is progressive. With a second parent with cancer and mental illness who could we turn to. Never before have we been in such a terrible situation. My wife and I work full time with a young family so how could we look after both parents and keep the family needs afloat. Well after researching the internet for potential companies that were able to help with the daily tasks of attending, bathing, preparing meals, assisting with domestic chores. We are pleased and very thankful that we found EDS. From the initial meeting to qualify our needs, to the immediate care provided from some of the most wonderful care assistance available. We haven't looked back. The dedication, professionalism, empathy and resilience from each member of the team has been unquestionable. The support has allowed my family to relax in the knowledge that the job in hand would get done.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are incredibly pleased that we have been able to take the pressure off your family during such a difficult time, and our team have made such an impact on yourselves and your parents. We are always proud of our team on the ground and the high standards we hold ourselves to. Thank you again!
ESD Homecare are consistently reliable, efficient and friendly. I am very pleased with their care of my husband who has Parkinson's Disease and PSP and needs hoisting and fully body care. He too is happy to see them. There seems to be a high level of training and confidence in all the carers. They even managed to provide a brilliant service during a prolonged period of snow and ice when we had local roads closed. Office staff communicate well and frequently.
Thank you ever so much for your lovely review! Our in-house training ensures our staff are always following correct and up-to-date protocols and therefore we can provide the safest, most dignified service we possibly can. We are also incredibly proud of our staff and management team for our...
Reliable sitting service. Personal and confident and experienced, helpful and friendly.
Thank you for your kind words. As someone who found us via the Homecare.co.uk website, it's lovely to hear you are pleased with our companionship service and find the carers so friendly. Thank you again!
A new experience for us we did not know what to expect, to be truthful we were apprehensive but need not have worried. The whole team without exception were wonderful, kind and caring and all went above and beyond to help us. My wish is we could have adopted them all.
Thank you ever so much for your kind words, we are so pleased we were able to facilitate your discharge back home and allow you to regain your independence. We are extremely proud of our staff for their kind and caring attitude and their hard work out in the field. Thank you once again!
Generally mum and I are very pleased with the care she receives. The girls mostly are very polite and friendly, and occasional one is a bit abrupt and not chatty. However they are all professional and carry out all the jobs efficiently. The office is also very professional. My only issue is for mum who is starting to have memory issues, is the number of different people who attend some 15 different girls throughout the month some only once or twice which mum struggles with recalling if they have been before. (I appreciate holiday and sick leave cover can make this difficult for the office). As I said once here the girls are all very good and happy to help with anything needed. Mum always thanks them as they leave as she likes to see them. Thank you
Thank you for your kind review. We are glad to hear your mum gets on well with the carers and they carry out the jobs with efficiency and politeness, and that she looks forward to their visits. As you have said, holiday and sick leave cover, as well as other unpredictable circumstances such as car...
I am very happy with the care provided, one carer in particular. Also, the other carer is good too. I appreciate that it takes a while to get used to what my needs are! I also like the way the other carers work. Overall things work well for me.
Thank you for your kind words, we are very pleased to hear the care package you have works well for you and that the carers have bonded with you!
Patient caring staff. Always on time. Excellent communication from management.
Thank you very much for your lovely review and kind words. Your mum is a pleasure to look after and we are pleased you are happy with the services she is receiving!
The cares are kind, caring attentive. Always polite and pleasant and fulfil her needs.
Thank you for your kind words and lovely review, your mum is a lovely lady and we are so pleased you both find that the carers are so kind and pleasant.
