I am pleased with my care by the carers. We get on well together, chat and laugh., Sometimes they are the only people I speak to in a day as I live alone. The treatment I need is done properly as well as the jobs needed to be done.
Thank you for this lovely review! Our care staff enjoy their visits with you and you are a pleasure to look after.
EDS provide home care, shopping, and companionship services for my sister. They are very reliable and the carers I have met have been very friendly. The service has been to a very good standard. And little things like sharing photos and vidios of my sister's trips have been great. While there have been a few growing pains, the staff have been extremely responsive in helping sort these out and we work well together.
Thank you very much for this review, we know how much your sister enjoys her trips out and we are very happy to be able to be a part of that and enable that to happen. We pride ourselves on being responsive to anything that comes up, no matter how big or small.
Overall very satisfied with the care and respect shown. The staff and carers are very good.
Thank you very much for this lovely review! We're happy to hear you feel respected by our caring staff.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Make sure my dad is safe and comfortable and well cared for.
Thank you for this lovely review, your dad is a pleasure to look after and we're happy to hear our staff are friendly and kind.
Very good service, treat me very well, recommend EDS Homecare 100%, very, very happy.
Thank you for this lovely review, you are a pleasure to visit!
My sister and I have always found EDS Homecare to be a very caring, reliable and honest provider of home care services for my elderly mother. They have always been there when we have needed to contact them sometimes urgently and have always acted professionally and with care and the utmost discretion. The customer portal is also very useful for us to check on Mum's visit and provides us with the reassurance that she is receiving the care she requires. They have also been very flexible when amending time slots when requested and also proactive when informing us about a situation Mum is in, this may be just for info or a more major issue i.e. when she may have fallen. We are very happy with the service provided and would recommend them to anyone looking for care services.
Thank you for this wonderful review, we are so pleased that you are happy with our services and we always try our best to respond quickly and proactively to any incidents that occur.
The home care services supplied by EDS for my mother have been excellent. Their carers have always attended to my mother's daily needs and if any issues have arisen during a visit I have been contacted and appropriately informed. Based on my experiences I would wholeheartedly recommend EDS Homecare.
Thank you for this lovely review- we always alert family or emergency contacts of any issues that crop up and we are happy to hear you find us excellent!
Extremely reliable and professional company. Every single staff member I have had the pleasure to speak to was very friendly, highly efficient, and genuinely cares for the wellbeing of my father.
Thank you for this amazing feedback, your father is a pleasure to visit for our caring staff and we are so happy to hear everything is going so well!
The EDS Home Care Team are excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Very good timekeeping, always do whatever is in the care plan and often go above and beyond to help. There is no comparison to some of the other companies we have dealt with. Definitely number 1 on my list.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! Your dad is a pleasure to look after and we are always happy to help in any way, whether it's an alteration to changing needs or any extra jobs that need doing.
The care given is second to none. Helpful, positive, cheerful. Take time to talk to me and also helped me to walk after coming out of the hospital, along with the physio. Nothing is too much for them. They put a smile back on my sister's face.
Thank you for this amazing review! EDS are incredibly proud of our staff for bringing such joy and confidence to you and for helping you in your recovering mobility.
From my point of view, EDS have been very thorough in their care of my relative and their attention to detail is great. They are in regular contact with me and advise as soon as anything is noticed or needs action from me. They respond very quickly to my emails/phone calls and are happy to change/add to my granddad's daily care plan.
Thank you for the amazing review. EDS is so glad that your step-grandad enjoys his care visits and is reacting so positively to this change in circumstances. We always alert relatives of anything that needs to be raised and are responsive to changing client needs, as we know no two days are ever the same.
Dad’s happy, has company for trips out for a meal, pint or staying in and watching the TV. His house is clean, and clothes laundered, and takes better self-care, all thanks to EDS.
My brother and I are very happy that Dad still has a high degree of independence with the assurance that many risks are mitigated.
Thank you for this lovely review- EDS know the switch to home care can be a difficult and scary time, so we are very pleased that this has been so beneficial for your dad.
Would recommend.
They looked after my wife's aunt for a short time before she went into a care home we were very happy with everything and were a great help in a challenging situation.
Thank you for this lovely review- EDS are glad that we could provide great help in a challenging situation as we know it can be difficult to adjust to the changing needs of a loved one.
The carers have been great. They always treat mum and dad with respect and dignity. We have a variation of about 20 cares and it's difficult to remember their name. We would much appreciate name tags clearly displayed on their tunics. Thank you all for your service.
Thank you very much for this lovely review - a package of care for 2 double-handed clients requiring complex moving and handling 4 times a day is likely to see many different faces, but we are happy they are treated with dignity and respect. Your parents are a pleasure to care for, a lovely couple.

Overall my mum received a good service from EDS. She had a good relationship with a few of the regular carers but latterly they were moved to different areas so continuity was absent. I think it is important where possible for people to have the same regular carers, who know the client's needs, without having to constantly look in the book. Obviously, there were a few niggles here and there but overall the service was good.
Thank you for this nice review- as I'm sure you are aware, covering a rural area and ensuring the same staff can be difficult but we are happy that your mum's overall experience with EDS was a positive one.
Always within designated time - generally same carer for at least 4 days a week - consistency helps the situation - service provided is generally very good, the carer (s) are always helpful.
Thank you for this lovely review, we always try our best to keep staff consistent where we can to enable good relationships to be built.
EDS Homecare looked after my dad right up until he went into a care home, all the carers were very kind and supportive. It was very reassuring to know he was being so well looked after. Dad would often be quite stubborn but the carers always encourage him. If there was an issue we would be contacted straight away.
Thank you for this review- we are a responsive management team who try to alert relatives of any issues as soon as possible.
My brother and parents cannot speak highly enough of the support and care our mum received following her broken hip. From their initial communication, we received professional compassionate service. The carers arrived every day with a smile they were kind and patient. Wonderful service. Thank you very much.
Thank you for this lovely review. EDS pride ourselves on our professionalism and our lovely care staff.
We are very happy with the care provided by the carers at EDS Homecare. They support my father and are always caring, compassionate and professional when undertaking all the tasks they are required to do. All the carers are pleasant polite and always smiling which helps to cheer my father up at each visit. We can't thank them enough for all the help they provide every day and for the difference they make to my father's daily life.
This is so nice to hear- our care staff are always happy to provide friendly conversation and companionship to our service users.
