When my father’s health suddenly deteriorated AIMS quickly and efficiently found us carers to enable us to keep him at home until he sadly passed away. We urgently needed day and night assistance and the carers were delightful. One spoke particularly highly of the company as an employer which was reflected
by the quality of their staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and indeed have already done so to some neighbours of my parents.

We contacted Aims to see if they could provide some carers to help support us with caring for my lovely dad as he came to end of his life this week. The staff from the manager to the carers were without fail professional, kind and compassionate. We could not have asked for more. Thank you so much for
making a time when we’re all feeling so exhausted and vulnerable so much better. Being able to get some rest knowing he was so well cared for was invaluable and enabled us to enjoy our last few days together with him. Thank you.

My mother is supported and well cared for by the visiting staff and management at Aims. One member of staff is in touch with family members and we feel confident in her ability to provide appropriate care for our elderly mother.

I would happily recommend Aims to friends.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 18 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.653 for Aims Homecare Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (68 Excellents x 5) + (26 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 98 Ratings = 4.653
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Aims Homecare Ltd is based on 18 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4.95
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Hello and welcome.

My name is Danielle, and I bring over 13 years of experience in health and social care. Having worked my way up from frontline roles into senior leadership, I understand how important it is for families to feel confident, supported, and at ease when choosing home support.
