Our lovely carers were kind and courteous, treating mum with respect and dignity but also bringing levity into a sad situation and making mum smile. They were generally prompt but would phone ahead when delayed as was inevitable during the flooding. The office staff were polite and helpful, enabling us to alter the proportion of night/daycare. Extra night hours with our wonderful competent carer meant that we could sleep soundly knowing that she would call us if necessary. Thank you.

The care R & L Healthcare provided for my father went beyond anything we could have asked for. The staff were always gentle and considerate not only to my father but my mother and my sisters. We will be forever grateful for the compassion shown.

The service provided by the agency and individual carers both the daytime teams and the overnight carers were excellent. All were very caring and professional treating my husband with respect and preserving his dignity even during the height of the floods every effort was made to attend. There skill relieved me of a lot of stress and also the rest of the family.

The service my wife had was excellent. My wife was treated with dignity always chatty. Sometimes my wife wasn't with it and the carers were explaining what they were doing.

I had no warning that my wife was to have carers and believe it was organised by our doctor and nurse. The reason I have ticked the above box is due to the timings that the carers were given. 10.30am , then 1.30pm, then 7.30pm. I had to organise nurses to put my wife to bed at 10 pm every night.

The care received was satisfactory.

Having spent six months preciously with a very sub-standard care agency, it has been a huge relief to now be with R & L. All the carers, without fail, are polite, friendly, caring, honest and efficient. As the daughter of an 87-year-old with Multiple Sclerosis and Vascular Dementia, I now feel my mother has the care she deserves. I couldn't be happier.

We set up a room for him in our bungalow where he could look over our beautiful well-loved garden. This would not have happened without the care of your excellent staff. They always turned up on time, were friendly, efficient, excellent and such lovely people. He only lived about a week but my husband's last days could not have been better.

We had night sitting from a professional for my father's end of life care. This enabled my 87-year-old mother and main carer to sleep. Our carer, he was uplifting and caring when we were exhausted and anxious.

The care and treatment given to my wife during the last two weeks could not be faulted.

In general, all-round performance is acceptable.
