Only been having the service since late 2025 wasn't sure mum would be happy to have people coming in and caring for her, we had a small setback, but was overcome quickly I can say the girls (as mum says) are all amazing, polite, respecful and treat mum very well. If there is any problems I would get a mobile call but its all been minor things as mum tends to go to bed early and the girls ring me, but never leave until they have had permission to leave.

The care of my mum is great at the moment, we currently have an amazing carer, she really seems concerned about my Mum's well-being.
She encourages my mum to eat her food.

My mum is kept clean at all times and they also administer her medication.

What can I say? Jewel by name, Jewel by nature! My Mum started receiving homecare support in February 2026, and the carers involved in supporting my Mum on a daily basis have quickly proved themselves to be trusted carers, working very hard to look after her.Mum tells me that she looks forward to seeing her carers, which says a lot from a lady who was viewing the idea of home support with trepidation. Everyone my Mum and I have engaged with has been friendly but professional, hard working and efficient. What a wonderful bunch of people. We could not have wished for better service from this very deficated team. Thank you Jewel!

We have just started to use Jewel to support my mum, we are very impressed that we get the same carer and the same replacement to cover her time off. So mum only meets two people and can build a rapport. I know that this is not usual as friends parents do not know who is turning up. This sense of continuity helps with older people and helps us as a family feel secure.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to other people.
