Wright Care at Home

We couldn't be happier with the care and support provided to my Dad from Wright Care at Home. From the very beginning, the care we have received has been to a really high standard, clearly a lot of work goes in to hiring the best possible team. They are kind and compassionate, taking the time to truly get to know my dad and what makes him tick!

It gives our family enormous peace of mind knowing that he is in such capable and trustworthy hands and a wonderful bit of respite to my mum.

We are extremely grateful for everything the office team do as well, from providing initial guidance that was empathetic and caring, during a very difficult time as a family, to accommodating any changes we have needed to make for Dads needs.

The excellent care you gave to Margaret enabled her to stay in her own home & maintain her independence for as long as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. The carers & office staff became her friends & "family" & so often went beyond the call of duty. Your cheerful support & encouragement helped her to keep going as her mobility decreased. I would not hesitate to recommend Wright Care to others & am so glad that we chose you to be her homecare provider.

I have been with "Wright Care At Home" since it just started up in 2016 and have had a fantastic time with lots of great times , laughs and top quality care . During my time with "Wright Care At Home" I have been to three concerts , [Bryan Adams , Level 42 and Sheryl Crowe.] I have been to the Cinema several times and been regularly taken to a wellbeing group run by a charity in Stamford on Thursday's . I will miss all the staff special thanks go to [ Margie , Sammy , Sarah , Claire , Julie Foster , Julie Taylor , Leigha , Jess ,Lucy , Nicola and many others . A special shout out out goes to Alison who found me last year unconscious in my bungalow , I had knocked myself out the previous day . I had been on the floor for twelve hours and I had Sepsis . She quickly phoned for an Ambulance and got all my medication and some clothes together , I was in Hospital for nearly four weeks . It's a big wrench to move on , but in life we evolve and new beginnings , but I will never forget you all . Thanks Philip .

Although Barbara is still very able & active so doesn't need a lot of help, your service gives her family peace of mind that she is being looked after for 4 mornings a week. I also enjoy reading the carers comments to know that Barbara is well & in good spirits.

Cannot fault the service provided. Each of the carers have their own style but are meticulous in carrying out housework. Dorothy is able to take a walk with the carers of the day if weather is suitable, which is something I cannot do as I have to use a mobility scooter. We consider ourselves luck to have found you. Very grateful.

Quick and responsive to my mother in laws needs after surgery, making her feel more confident when returning home. Great service thereafter for the period of time we needed Wright Care, with the friendly staff being positively encouraging to support recovery.

After a previous stroke, and now very limited mobility two visits a day is essential to achieve adequate well being and this has been achieved with the support of Wright Care. In addition they have supported my wife willingly and sympathetically.

I am well cared for in my own home and staff go the extra mile when necessary.

I want to thank everyone at Wright Care for the support they gave my sister over the last couple of years, until her death last month. My sister was very disabled with Parkinson’s but wanted to continue living independently in her sheltered housing complex. Wright Care did everything they could to help my sister maintain her independence, dignity and quality of life. She initially had three visits a day to assist with personal care and medication, and this was gradually increased to five visits a day as her health deteriorated. Wright Care was always extremely flexible, changing rotas at short notice to cope with medical emergencies, working alongside the Parkinson’s physio and district nurse to problem solve and make sure my sister had the right equipment to be cared for safely. Carers also provided my sister with companionship, took her shopping and to local appointments, and even helped her to make marmalade and rocky roads. We were touched that so many carers came to see my sister in her last week to say goodbye.

The carers were always on time and at 07:00 am bright and cheerful my wife looked forward to their visits, very professional and caring. They were such a great help to me as my wife's carers. Thank you for all you have done to make life easier for both of us.

I was very impressed with the high standard of care shown to my brother and the quick and efficient way the office dealt with problems. He knew who was coming each day and they let him know if they were late. I felt they were very supportive to both my brother and myself. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all and wish you all a good Christmas.

Very kind and caring staff who went out of their way to provide a timetable that would suit my mother and quickly made her feel comfortable with them. They were happy to just chat with Mum on the days that she did not need as much help

I can contact the Wright Care office (by phone or email) whenever there is something I need to discuss. The management team are always helpful and positive and seems to be extremely well organised.
