Over all time Wright Care at Home has 45 reviews.
Mum's health declined significantly over the following six months and Wright Care were very flexible with the care provision and was happy to change the delivery to meet our needs.
Every member of the household felt fully supported and all the carers were friendly and welcoming and part of the family. Unfortunately Mum recently passed away, but the carers were there with us at every stage to support us all as well as Mum at the hardest time you can imagine.
What a company and what a team, there are no words to express how valuable they have been to us over the past year and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Anna these words are so cherished by all of us. It was such a pleasure and honour to help her and all of you. Care is about the individual and changing whatever we possibly can to provide the best and we are so priviledged to of been asked to do this for you. We loved and looked forward to the...
Wright Care at Home provided an excellent service in the care of my uncle and his partner over a period of several years. Their staff are genuinely caring, reliable and professional. The care managers were always accessible and communication was smooth and constructive. I can highly recommend their services and would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for all the carers, office staff and management involved.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. It was our pleasure to support your Uncle and what a remarkable life he had. We will pass on these kind words to the carers involved in supporting his care and the management team who were also involved. It was our honour
I required 24hr care for my aunt (in her 80's) and uncle (in his late 90's) I knew it would not be an easy task as both of my relations had been very independent and strong-willed characters! My aunt was incapacitated and needed to be hoisted between her bed, chair and bathroom, my uncle was more mobile but needed help with certain tasks and needed emotional and respectful care, I did not want him to feel undermined in any way. The level of care has been absolutely outstanding, the carers attentively listened to the requirements at our initial meeting and never failed to deliver, if at any point I had a query or suggestion it was handled promptly and efficiently. Wright care liaised with doctors, physiotherapists, chemists etc which was a great help for me. The care ladies were absolutely first class, too many to name personally but each one fitted into the household perfectly and was able to adapt to daily changing situations. I am happy to talk directly to any potential clients.
Thank you for your kind words and the time given to leave this review. Your aunt was an absolute pleasure to care for and is very much missed by her care team. We have fond memories of the times we supported her and your Uncle too and were honoured to of supported her needs. We will ensure these words are passed on to her carers. Thank you again
The carers who came to look after my husband for an hour during several weekends were gentle, effective and sensitive to his needs. The management staff were efficient and helpful. I would recommend Wright Care at Home to anyone.
Thank you for your kind words, we will pass these on to the carers involved. it was a pleasure to support you and your husband. We are pleased you found the management and the set up of the service efficient. These words mean a great deal to us - thank you again.
We are both very pleased with the service we have received in these past few months. The staff we have had are well trained and professional. They are meeting our needs in a caring and friendly way. Management paperwork is sometimes confusing and we would appreciate being informed if an additional carer is also coming to our home in a shadowing role.
Thank you David for your kind words, It's lovely to hear that you are getting on so well with the carers. We know she enjoys these visits each week. We take all feedback on board and have hopefully already taken steps to reduce the confusion from the initial paperwork also. We look forward to continuing to provide a high standard of care to you and your wife. Thank you again
My husband found your carers reliable and very caring and as he is not an easygoing person, he got on very well with them in the short time that they attended to him. We were very sorry that we had to finish with your services, but under the circumstances, I was no longer able to cope with him at home even with your carers' help. They were always pleasant and even made him laugh.
Thank you for your lovely review and for taking the time to write this. It was our absolute pleasure and also wonderful for the carers to get to know you also. We hope he is well and should you ever need us in the future please do not hesitate to contact us. The carers became very fond of these visits. We will pass your kind words on to the team.
I would like you to pass on our thanks to your colleague who has been looking after my parents. To say she was well-liked is an understatement (I think my parents would have adopted her if they could).
She went out of her way to help in any way she could and for Mum and Dad, who have sadly had to go into respite care, her visits were the highlight of the day. She was always cheerful and had time to chat and make my parents feel relaxed.
Please tell her how much we, as a family, appreciated her work and commitment to her duties regarding Mum and Dad and I know they will miss her.
Thanks also to all your team for their work, it has been much appreciated.
We are so grateful you chose us as it has been a pleasure.
Do stay in touch and if we can help in the future we are here.
Many thanks again for taking the time to send this wonderful review.
You have provided consistently reliable attendance and help to my sister throughout the years that she has been benefitting from your services. Your staff have treated her cheerfully and sociably and always with respect (although she is sometimes a difficult customer!). Your precautions throughout the Covid crisis were impressive and effective and for several months of lockdown, your staff were her only social contact. She did have some gripes with the office staff, but I think that was mostly to do with her difficulty in hearing and communicating.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review, it's greatly appreciated and we always strive to take on board all comments from our customers and their families. It has been a pleasure to provide our care service for your sister over the years and although there were small gripes with the...
A few weeks ago when the carer visited my mum, who that day, was very unwell. She called for help from the care manager and contacted me. We decided that an ambulance was needed. Both the carer and manager stayed with Mum until the ambulance arrived and I could get there. This took a while, but they supported her and ensured she was safe and comfortable. They even helped to pack a bag for her impending hospital stay.
Mum is home now and I am safe in the knowledge that every day, caring people are looking after her.
Thank you, Tim, for this lovely review of our care and the carers too. The staff are assets to our team and the wider team really enjoyed their daily visits to your mum. It's always so humbling to hear the kind words of all our customers and their families and nice to pass this on to the carers. We are delighted we could help and provide that support. It's a pleasure for us. Thank you again.
I was extremely pleased with the care I received. All the staff were lovely and so willing to do anything I asked of them. It has left me feeling very relaxed about the future as I would not have to leave my home and could be looked after here.
Your words mean a lot to us here, enabling people to remain in their own homes for as long as they feel safe to do so is our absolute goal.
We wish you well,
From your Wright Care at Home team
Wright Care at Home provided an excellent service in every respect. The carers were professional, kind, caring and understanding of all my mother’s needs. They provided companionship as well as providing physical support for household tasks. Towards the end of my mother’s life, they provided more personal support in difficult emotional circumstances and maintained high standards of care throughout. The office staff were efficient, friendly and incredibly supportive too. The administration was efficient and communication excellent at all times.
It was a pleasure to provide care for your mother, such a wonderful lady. We enjoyed her visits and are so humbled to hear your kind words. Thank you for this lovely review. Our thoughts are with you all, and we are glad we could support you all too. We will pass this on to the care team who supported her. Thank you again.
Wright Care at Home has been really fantastic over the 18 months my mother has been using them. All of the carers have been kind and efficient, doing everything my mother asked of them from taking her for walks around the village, to helping with hospital appointments and even sorting out her computer! I have got to know several of the team from a distance (I live in Edinburgh) and I have been really impressed by what warm and genuinely caring people they are. My mother particularly appreciated their visits during the lockdown periods when she would otherwise have felt quite isolated. My mother now needs a live-in carer and sadly this is not something Wright Care routinely offers. We are very sad to be moving on and would highly recommend Wright Care.
Harriet, it has been our absolute pleasure to provide support to your Mother. We are so sad to be saying goodbye but hopefully, we can stay in touch. The carers have all formed such a treasured relationship and bond with her and it's been wonderful to ensure she wasn't isolated during the pandemic....
I am so so grateful and thankful to everyone at Wright Care at Home. They stepped in last minute when my father was very ill and helped him and myself enormously. All the carers and staff were so caring, professional and kind. Each member of the team went out of their way to help my family - I honestly wouldn’t have known what to do without them. I can’t recommend them enough.
It was an absolute pleasure to support your Father and in the short time we got to know him it was a pleasure to be part of your family. We are so thankful we had the opportunity to support you and cannot thank you enough for your kind words.
Wrightcare has provided a reliable and consistent service for Mum. Their support has undoubtedly helped her get through the impact of the last 12 months, providing both care and a listening ear. The carers are fantastic, going above and beyond to ensure Mum's needs are met.
Thank you for your kind words and for your review. Its been such a hard year and we hope that we have made it a little easier where we can for our customers. Her carers truly have built a wonderful relationship with your Mum and it is a pleasure. Thank you, Christina.
Wright Care at Home look after my aunty, in her home, with 24-hour care. She has benefitted hugely from the extra help each member of the team gives her. They have really taken the time to get to know her, her medication and what routine suits her best. They have her best interests at the heart of all they do and the change in my aunty is clear to see. Thank you to the team. You don't know how much it means to me and other families out there. Thank you.
Thank you Julia for taking the time to leave a review of the care we provide for your Aunt. It is truly a pleasure providing her care and building on her needs, to ensure she has everything she needs. The team really enjoy supporting her and we are looking forward to the spring and summer to get...
The carers are very good and give a high standard of care. However, the sudden change in carers can be unsettling and is not good for those with mental health problems.
Thank you for your kind words, we are very thankful to all of our customers during the last 12 months of the pandemic for being patient whilst we overcome unusual challenges. It has been a pleasure to find you a key care team that now matches your preferences and we are delighted to hear you feel they deliver you a high standard of care.
I have to compliment Wright Care at Home in every way. They have been looking after my aunt for 3 months now. The carers are excellent. The office team are excellent. The professionalism is excellent. Communication is excellent. Ongoing response to changing needs is excellent.
What a wonderful review. Thank you so much. We are so privileged to provide care to your aunt. We will pass this onto our team. Thank you for your feedback.
All staff were punctual, polite and helpful. Most importantly, the carer listened to me and took notice.
It was a pleasure to support you. Thank you for your kind words. It's always wonderful to pass on these words to our carers. Please do contact us again in the future should we be able to support you.
Wright Care looked after my father who was suffering from terminal cancer. The staff were all lovely and looked after him very well, making him as comfortable as possible in his final few weeks. I would recommend them to anybody.
Richard. Thank you so much for taking the time to write these words. He made such an impact on our care team. What a very well-loved Gentleman he was too. We are so pleased we were able to fulfil his wishes and provide that emotional and personal support for him. We are truly blessed in our roles to be able to provide the care we do and he will not be forgotten. Thank you.
Your carers were all very similar. They treated my wife with an easy familiarity and she enjoyed this banter. Not every day was a 'good' day but they coaxed her into a good mood and she often repaid them with her beautiful smile. I miss her and their stimulating company.
Thank you for your lovely words. She most certainly is missed as you are by her lovely care workers. We were so honoured to support your wife and meet you and your family. We are always a phone call away if you ever want to pop by. We often think of you all.

Meet the Team (11)
I’ve worked in Health and Social Care for the last thirteen years, in a variety of settings gaining a wealth of experience. I started as a care support worker delivering home care and then worked my way through the ranks of management to where I am now.
I have a background in customer service. I was a manager of a retail store in Stamford before moving to find a more rewarding career in Health and Social Care.
After working in a variety of care settings I had always had a passion and determination to set my very own care company up providing a wide range of services within my home town.
First hand knowing what good practice is I have always strived on delivering the best customer service. In 2016, I achieved a personal dream and I am fully committed to ensuring ‘Wright Care at Home’ provides a high standard of care, continuity and service to all our customers. Not only that but ensuring I have the best team to make sure this happens.’
Wright Care at Home is a small family run business. It was set up in January 2016 by my late father Simon Wright and myself. Unfortunately 2 years into our journey we lost Simon our co-founder in an accident. After personally witnessing what person-centred care should look like, I strive on to keep his ethos alive within the company.
He would be proud of how far we have come today.
My role is to support my management team and ensure they have all the tools and passion to continue delivering a great service and also to keep the compassion at the heart of all they do.
Since the birth of my twin daughters, I support the drive of the business forward with new innovative ideas and ensure standards are maintained. This is my dream and I'm excited for what the future holds for all of us.
Margie has supported the set up of Wright Care at Home with her wealth of experience in administration and her excellent organisation skills.
I have been involved in Customer Service Industries for most of my working life. This, coupled with an early family involvement with St. John Ambulance set me up perfectly for supporting my step-daughter, Samantha in establishing Wright Care at Home.
I currently work on the “mechanics” of the Business. Premises, equipment, advertising etc. I am also the Nominated Individual for Wright Care at Home meaning I am to available to staff members in order to support them with their chosen careers.
My calling for care came at a young age when I saw a loved one receive such attentive care and support whilst battling through their journey with cancer. It was at this point I knew I was destined for the industry.
I have worked for over 15 years in various care support roles across different settings, including elderly, palliative, learning disabilities and dementia care.
When my good friend, Sammy, started to create this company, I knew that is where I needed to be. I started in 2016 when the company was founded, and I have not looked back since. My role as a carer and the previous experience I had behind me quickly enabled me to work hard through the ranks, from Care Supervisor to Deputy Manager and now where I currently am, being the Registered Care Manager.
Every day I am proud of the ethos we uphold and that I play even a small part in that. We have been through many highs and hard times emotionally since opening the doors in 2016 but I believe that has made us all stronger and even more focused to carry on the amazing, high-quality service that we do. I feel blessed to be where I am to support, encourage and mentor our incredible Wright Care at Home family.
I joined Wright Care at Home in January 2022 and am very excited to take their training programme forward, upskilling the team and also learning from them as they all have gained substantial skills and knowledge during their careers.
I have worked with older people in various settings for over 35 years, starting off as a nurse, and moving on to Care home and Day centre management, as well as a spell in housing managing the independent living service, supporting older people in their own homes.
Moving into training seemed a natural step for me as I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills and watching people learn and grow in confidence as they learn new skills.
I am a mum to 5, Nanny to 8, and if you haven’t guessed by now, my family are my world.
I’ve worked for Wright Care at Home from the beginning. I always remember my ‘Mum’ telling me there is no point in doing a job if you don’t enjoy it.
I can honestly say the work I do does not feel like a job, I absolutely love every minute.
In the two years I have worked for ‘Wright Care at Home’, I have achieved so many qualifications. All evidenced with a certificate. I love certificates! but my proudest moment and achievement is my recently awarded level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
We are not just a team here, but a family. I was so overwhelmed when I was approached from my Manager encouraging me to apply for an ambassador senior role. I feel honored to be in this role, I sat through a grueling interview and then my Manager Sammy at the end said I already knew you would fit the role.
I have utter determination, respect, trust for everyone in my team, for all I do and most of all my customers who I provide care to.
I am so proud of my career here and would never look back.
I have been a carer for almost nine years now and joining Wright Care at Home is the best move I’ve ever made.
Their ethos, compassion, support and dedication shines through.
I have always been content to stay in this position but when I was given the opportunity to carry these attributes to new recruits and existing team colleagues to become an ambassador for the Company, how could I turn it down.
I love giving all my knowledge and experience to others, to watch them grow and flourish with such an outstanding Company. The close team work are what makes us unique and long may it continue.
Nich joined us in 2021 as a care worker supporting one of our complex care needs customers. He quickly joined the senior team where he has been able to transfer his skills from a background working in law and previous experience in care settings.
I work in home care because I want to help vulnerable people to be able to stay in their own homes around their loved ones. I love meeting all our different customers as they all have so many different personalities. I love working for wright care at home because I believe they are the best care company!!!
When my daughter Samantha set ‘Wright Care at Home’ with the help and support from her late father ‘Simon Wright’ I couldn’t have been more proud as she had worked so hard for her dream.
When I moved back from Suffolk and found I had a few hours in the evening spare she suggested I might enjoy a bit of bank work to help when needed in the community. I wasn’t quite sure I could still do it as I hadn’t delivered care since my late teens. How wrong I was I love it. The customers were and are lovely and it’s nice to hear about their lives and families and to cook suppers for them that they enjoy and look forward to. I know I make a difference.
Wright Care at Home is a person-centred company that goes above and beyond and I am delighted to be part of this family team and would highly recommend it to those who may be retired but have a few hours to spare to come to join this team.
You won’t be disappointed.
I started working for Wright Care in January 2020 and had no care experience, to be honest, I didn’t know whether I would even be able to fulfil my role, however, after the training and support from my colleagues, I knew this was the job for me.
I love making a difference in a positive way to the customers I visit and it helps them to stay living independently in their own homes.
I am proud to be a member of the Wright Care team.
I joined Wright Care at home in September 2020, in between lockdowns. It’s been a roller coaster year for us all and after losing my job at Alternatives, which offered a pregnancy and infant loss bereavement service, I was unsure of which way to turn within my career. After seeing a job advert for Wright Care at home I applied and straight away felt at home and excited to begin my journey after the job offer and I felt at home straight away. I now say I should have been doing this years ago and being a carer is more than a job to me.
