Wright Care looked after my father who was suffering from terminal cancer. The staff were all lovely and looked after him very well, making him as comfortable as possible in his final few weeks. I would recommend them to anybody.

Your carers were all very similar. They treated my wife with an easy familiarity and she enjoyed this banter. Not every day was a 'good' day but they coaxed her into a good mood and she often repaid them with her beautiful smile. I miss her and their stimulating company.

Wright Care at Home began in January 2016, not as a business plan, but as a belief.
I wanted to build something different: a care company with a family ethos at its heart, where people are treated the way I’d want my own family treated. My father, Simon, stood beside me from the very start as co-founder, and his belief in what we were building is still woven into everything we do.
Since then, life has grown alongside the business. I became a mum, first to twin girls, and then to a son.
Raising a young family while building a company has shaped the way I lead. It’s taught me patience, resilience, and what it really means to care for people, at home, at work, in every part of life.
A decade on, Wright Care at Home has grown too, evolving our services, our training, and the way we support families across Stamford and Bourne. But however much we grow, we’ve never lost sight of where we started.
We’re still an independent, family-run business. We still believe innovation means never standing still. And we still believe that behind every person we care for is a family who deserves to feel supported too.

My calling for care came at a young age when I saw a loved one receive such attentive care and support whilst battling through their journey with cancer. It was at this point I knew I was destined for the industry.
I have worked for over 15 years in various care support roles across different settings, including elderly, palliative, learning disabilities and dementia care.
When my good friend, Sammy, started to create this company, I knew that is where I needed to be. I started in 2016 when the company was founded, and I have not looked back since. My role as a carer and the previous experience I had behind me quickly enabled me to work hard through the ranks, from Care Supervisor to Deputy Manager and now where I currently am, being the Registered Care Manager.
Every day I am proud of the ethos we uphold and that I play even a small part in that. We have been through many highs and hard times emotionally since opening the doors in 2016 but I believe that has made us all stronger and even more focused to carry on the amazing, high-quality service that we do. I feel blessed to be where I am to support, encourage and mentor our incredible Wright Care at Home family.
