We have been grateful for this agency finding extra shifts when asked. Generally reliable, turning up for shifts. Could change beds and clothing more often. Would be nice if the staff were trained nurses. Management do regular reviews.

The carers are mostly friendly, efficient, and supportive but the management/administration is difficult. Yesterday, my carer didn't arrive at the usual time of 12/12.30pm for a 2-hour shift. I hadn't received a new rota by post. I rang the agency at 1.15pm, who didn't know where the carer was, but
told me to expect a carer at 2pm. I explained I had to leave at 2.30pm for a medical appointment so was told I'd get a call back with an alternative time. At 5.10pm, still no call. I phoned again. I was told a carer had been at 3pm and I wasn't there. I stated the obvious (I told you I was out) and was told I'd be called back. No calls until I rang today and asked when the carer would come to make up for yesterday and was promised a callback. A different person phoned back saying that as I hadn't been in yesterday, had cancelled the shift, refused a visit today and not been at home when the carer came, I would be charged for the shift. I challenged this and asked to leave immediately.

My experience with MyLife has been very poor. Disappointing with many occasions of serious neglect and no continuity of carers. Management and head office are extremely poor. Difficulty in understanding of non-English speaking carers.

I am very pleased with the excellent care and support provided by MyLife. Both the carers and administration/management staff are professional and efficient and I really appreciate their ability to be flexible to our requirements. Living so far away, I am comforted to know that Mum is in good capable
hands. I am also very pleased that Mum looks forward to the visit by the carer each morning. Please keep up the good work. Thank you.

Very happy with the care provided. The carers themselves often go above and beyond their normal duties looking after my mum with respect and dignity. Should there be any concerns, we have very close contact with them and any issues are, therefore, quickly resolved.

While I cannot for one moment find fault with my particular MyLife employee's competence and reliability - you would go far to meet a kinder person on the planet, I would be less than honest in saying the same for the general administration/management in the company's office. The current obsessive requirement
to use a mobile phone "app" for clocking in and out is an example of this: quite apart from being a needless frustration for the MyLife employee when a simple mobile phone tracker would serve to check an individual's location, it is an inappropriate intrusion into the already limited period of time allocated to the support of a client/customer/service user. MyLife ought to be working towards a complete IT system overhaul.

The experience of care workers has been positive and support in general. 70% of the care workers have been good or above average in their duties. Co-ordination of the caregivers is variable and sometimes has been lacklustre. Communication of changes to arrangements like different workers or different
times is always never done by phone and often has to be read in updated schedules. Changing times or workers is difficult and require constant
re-engagement with the office.

My care and support have always been excellent and I have been very happy to receive support from My Life. I have support 5 days a week to Osteio arthritis. The staff are wonderful and thank you for being able to meet so many interesting people.

We cannot fault the care you have provided for my elderly mother-in-law, she just adores all the carers who are so loving towards her.
We cannot praise the team enough, they go that extra mile, they are always on time and my mother-in-law loves to see them.
They also spend quality time with her which
is valuable to her condition of Dementia. If there are any problems they are in contact with us immediately which is great.
