Bloom and Care have been providing outstanding daily care for my elderly mother for nearly a year now. From the outset, the standard of care has been highly professional, reliable and friendly.
The managers are experts in their field and very approachable and responsive. They have helped me in all
aspects of care for mum and provided very helpful advice.
The wonderful team of carers are all of high calibre, dedicated and kind and have formed lovely relationships with my mum, who considers them all to be her "friends".
Bloom and Care have provided me and my family with peace of mind, knowing that mum is in the best of hands and this has enabled her to continue living at home, which was her dearest wish.

The manager and her team are superb and, importantly, reliable. Dealing with a 92-year-old who has quite advanced dementia can be challenging to say the least, but all staff are pleasant, patient and professional. Always helpful, the manager managed to fit us in very quickly and her caring approach
is much admired. We would certainly recommend Bloom & Care - not only to those requiring such services but also to any carers looking for an excellent employer. Grateful thanks to all concerned.

Bloom and care have been absolute lifesavers. I wouldn't trust anyone else. The girls are all amazing, communication is brilliant. They have gone above and beyond and helped with not only the physical care but the doctor communication, district nurse, OTS etc. Always keeping us as a family in the loop.
When my grandad has needed extra help they get things sorted and in place. Not only have they given my grandad a better quality of life, but they have also done the same for us as a family. The managers are so knowledgeable, they will always do their best to get things put in place and also be a listening ear when things get tough. My grandad looks forward to seeing the girls every day. You can tell the care is of a high standard buy just seeing how well my grandad has come since they have been around.

My dad had a fall in April and I needed to put carers into place very quickly. Bloom and care came highly recommended from the paramedics and community nurse. I phoned them and explained what situation I was in, they came to visit the next day, with a plan in place if we were to proceed. They had moved
appointments around to fit my mum and dad in. They have provided an excellent service and helped me to put certain safety measures in place to assist mum and dad.

The local company provided me with all the care and assistance I required, following being infected with Covid whilst in hospital. When I was discharged I was sent home without any care plan whatsoever at a time when I felt extremely ill. The care and assistance provided by the company were extremely
good and very reassuring at a time when I most needed support.

I cannot thank the company enough for all they did for Mum. I was informed of any problems Mum developed e,g infection, muddled, etc... and we all worked together to try to overcome these problems. A fantastic caring company.

This is a very well run company, but what is much more important than that, is that the people care very much about their clients. I am writing on behalf of my mother-in-law, and she is totally delighted with her carer and sees her as a friend who is totally trustworthy. I deal with the admin side of
things and from that perspective, I am delighted at the organisation and availability of the owners to any questions or concerns. I think I or anyone would be hard-pressed to find a better, more caring, more well-organised company in this field than Bloom & Care.

When Bloom & Care stepped in to help care for our son they not only cared for our son to a very high standard asking us what we wanted and telling us before they did anything, they were always at the end of the phone and nothing was to much trouble for them. They were always there to support us and
helped us as a family every step of the way. Our son passed away very suddenly and the personal support was overwhelming. Thank you Bloom & Care .

Bloom & Care are brilliant. I trust them completely. They have been looking after my brother for a year now, and the service is excellent. The team lead by the manager and deputy are thoughtful, caring, kind and efficient. My brother loves them all and looks forward to their visits.

The level of care and support was excellent from the management to the carers for both my husband and myself. All the staff I met were very professional in their approach, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were lovely and so caring.

My brother and I are eternally indebted to the entire Bloom & Care team for helping our 88-year-old mum to gradually glide into home care to enable her to remain independent and - most importantly - at home in her familiar surroundings. Bloom & Care have successfully overcome a number of obstacles in
order to gain Mum's trust, having a very international background and as such, a superb understanding of foreign cultures. Most importantly, empathy and respect extended to clients and their families. This is an integral part of Bloom & Care's amazing service package, something which is absolutely priceless. I can wholeheartedly recommend Bloom & Care without hesitation and have asked the manager when she is planning to open a subsidiary in Hamburg.

The service my mother received from Bloom & Care for over six months was excellent. At 98 years old and living independently, my mother found all the carers kind, respectful and efficient. As the client's daughter, I found Bloom & Care exceptionally reliable. They dealt with emergencies with calmness
and helpfulness to client and family, well beyond the demands of duty. The carers are well recruited and trained. Bloom & Care managers are always readily available to sort out individual arrangements - helpful prompting medical supplies and contacting doctors and medical support as appropriate. Communication between management and staff was immediate and effective. My mother and I both valued highly the encouragement and cheerfulness of Bloom & Care's positive staff. We recommend Bloom & Care wholeheartedly.

The service from Bloom & Care has been excellent. I had a dreadful accident and have needed help from February 2019 until September 2019. This has varied as I have recovered enough to no longer require their services. They have also told me that should I feel the need for further help in the following
months, just to give them a call. I feel I have been very lucky to have had their care and would recommend them without a doubt.

Jessica Graziano RGN, spent several years working as a Community Nurse in the District Nursing teams of Bedford and the surrounding area. She has gained extensive knowledge of the area and the services available to people, enabling her to focus on providing specialised services to clients.

Kirsty

Kirsty Miceli

Job Title: Care Manager/Director Joined: 2018

Kirsty Miceli, RGN joined Bloom & Care in December 2018, with her background as a District Nursing Sister and Practice Nurse, she brings with her a wealth of clinical skills and additional service provider access. Kirsty's main focus is operating systems, staff training and people management.


Kirsty is our in-house training expert and provides mandatory training from a nursing and social care perspective to ensure all staff are trained and supported.

Mandy

Mandy Farmer

Job Title: Team Leader Joined: 2019

Mandy joined Bloom & Care in 2019, bringing a wealth of knowledge from her career in the social care sector. She oversees the delivery of care services ensuring the highest levels of care are provided to our clients. She liaises closely with our clients and their families, and the wider multidisciplinary team, particularly specialising in End of life care. As our valued Team Leader and Mental Health First Aider, Mandy spends a lot of her time supporting, shadowing and monitoring Senior and Junior staff on the field. Mandy’s kind and compassionate nature is impeccable and frequently lends a sympathetic ear to members of our team as well as the people we support.

Zoey

Zoey Lawrence

Job Title: Field Care Supervisior Joined: 2020

Zoey joined Bloom & Care in 2020 as a junior team member, since then her dedication and hard work have helped her progress further in her career. Zoey’s role as Field Care Supervisor is to support in the commencement of new care packages, liaising closely with the client, their families and the wider MDT, to ensure the set-up of care is a smooth and relaxed experience for all involved. Zoey produces personalised care plans and thorough risk assessments for each of our clients and is often a support in our client's annual reviews. Zoey is our computer whizz and is a pro at fixing our printer!
