As my dad's journey ends with Bloom & Care, I can only say how lucky we were recommended to them over the last two years. Nothing has been a problem and for them to make my dad's experience so memorable, even through testing times, is a massive accolade to them. So professional and nothing too much
trouble. I would recommend to anyone who values great service and empathy.

We only had Bloom & Care for my Dad's last month but in that time we found them to be professional, kind, friendly, and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble. They came twice a day, morning to get Dad up and dressed and evening to help him to bed at a time that was convenient to us. They also started
immediately after their first visit to introduce themselves. I would definitely recommend Bloom and Care to anyone.

The last few months were difficult ultimately leading to my father passing away in January 2024. However, due to the expert, respectful, conscientious, well-trained and lead, kind and cheerful team from Bloom and care, my father's last weeks were as good as they possibly could have been.
They had a
good understanding of my father's needs with his frailty and dementia and also those of my mother as well and were a tremendous support to her, both during his last months and after his passing.
Nothing ever seemed too much and they never seemed rushed and were always cheerful and polite.
It soon felt like friends were visiting him three times a day as he was always pleased to see them.
I am a retired GP and have seen many many people cared for or at home over the years but never by such a professional and caring team as that provided by Bloom and Care.
My family would like to thank them for all that they did with all our heart and can only give 100% recommendation.

If you are looking for the best care for a loved one you won’t find better than Bloom & Care.
They are all totally invested in looking after your loved one in every way possible.
My experience with their management team is that nothing is too much for them and they get results
My mother-in-law had
lovely caring and hard-working carers who were so kind they understood that she still wanted her independence and dignity and did everything to give her this.
We had a poor experience with the first care company we selected and were recommended Bloom & Care and were so lucky to find them.
Communication was excellent.
I cannot recommend this care company enough as it’s so important to get the right care for the people we love in their time of need.
Their caring staff are well trained and have all the right qualities to do what can at times be a difficult and challenging role.
My husband and I thank all the team for their quality of care.

As a family, we cannot recommend highly enough the service and care our father was given. Being able to stay in his own home, surrounded by his own belongings, was so important. Not only do they offer day-to-day support, they have a wealth of knowledge on what services are available and are on hand

Bloom & Care supported our father when he relocated from another county to live with the family. From the very first meeting with the staff, it was clear that we had made the right choice. The level of care and support that he received in the following months was a huge improvement from what he had
been used to.
The staff were caring and considerate, responsive to his changing needs, and any necessary adjustments to his care plan. As they got to know him, they were able to have a laugh and a joke with him, which made the whole experience that much more bearable. The staff were also very mindful that they were coming into a family home.
Our father was delighted with the support that he received. He might have told more than a couple of the team that they were his favourite!

Bloom & Care were absolutely fantastic. They enabled my mother to stay in her own home for longer than we expected. They were always reliable and so caring. We really felt Mum was looked after by well-trained, competent but above all, genuinely caring people. I think this is the type of service you
only ever get from a local company, employing local people which is managed and run by a team that intimately knows what is going on with all their clients.

Our mother (91) has had carer visits from Bloom & Care for several months now, and my sister and I are highly impressed. For our mum, who has some difficulties with sight and memory, the visits have provided reassurance, affection, entertainment and friendship as well as assistance. She is much less
anxious and is very fond of the carers, particularly those she sees most regularly. She is so happy to have help with bathing, choosing outfits and taking medication, and she loves hearing cheerful news about their hobbies and families!
For us, we are relieved to know that we have a good communication channel with the carers and the company at every level, and that the care provided is personalised, warm, professional and vigilant. When we visit Mum, if our paths cross with the carers' visits they are always open and friendly. It has been straightforward to set up helpful and personal routines.
We would not hesitate to recommend Bloom & Care, and we're very happy to have found them!

I cannot stress enough how fantastic the care had been for my father. Without it, he could not stay in his house. He was reluctant at first to have care at home, but now he positively looks forward to the morning and evening visits. Each of the carers have been considerate, engaging and most of all
caring. There is nothing perfunctory about the service provided. It is all done with genuine interest and feeling. Bloom & Care have been simply wonderful in all respects. Our entire family is so grateful to the manager and the team. I would unequivocally recommend them.

Bloom & Care came in in November 22 to provide twice-a-day care for my father and mother. My father is 89 and is simply a sweet old man. He needs help dressing and getting washed. The team are all absolutely fantastic with him both with encouraging him to get up and on the practical side. They also
keep an eye on his medical condition and have notified both his GP and me with regard to issues. In fact they spotted his urine was off colour and he has since been treated in hospital for a bladder issue. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Bloom & Care started caring for my uncle earlier this year, and the difference in him is astonishing. He looks so well looked after and he is so much happier, positive and settled in himself. When Bloom & Care started caring for him, it was visible that his health had really declined, but with the great
knowledge of the management team who have nursing backgrounds and the fantastic team of ladies who are obviously highly trained, he was soon back on his feet and has even been able to attend social events with our family again. There is a reason Bloom & Care are the best in Bedford and this is because of their wonderful care staff and great management team. Thank you to all involved, I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful company to my family, friends and beyond.

Bloom and Care have been providing outstanding daily care for my elderly mother for nearly a year now. From the outset, the standard of care has been highly professional, reliable and friendly.
The managers are experts in their field and very approachable and responsive. They have helped me in all
aspects of care for mum and provided very helpful advice.
The wonderful team of carers are all of high calibre, dedicated and kind and have formed lovely relationships with my mum, who considers them all to be her "friends".
Bloom and Care have provided me and my family with peace of mind, knowing that mum is in the best of hands and this has enabled her to continue living at home, which was her dearest wish.

The manager and her team are superb and, importantly, reliable. Dealing with a 92-year-old who has quite advanced dementia can be challenging to say the least, but all staff are pleasant, patient and professional. Always helpful, the manager managed to fit us in very quickly and her caring approach
is much admired. We would certainly recommend Bloom & Care - not only to those requiring such services but also to any carers looking for an excellent employer. Grateful thanks to all concerned.

Bloom and care have been absolute lifesavers. I wouldn't trust anyone else. The girls are all amazing, communication is brilliant. They have gone above and beyond and helped with not only the physical care but the doctor communication, district nurse, OTS etc. Always keeping us as a family in the loop.
When my grandad has needed extra help they get things sorted and in place. Not only have they given my grandad a better quality of life, but they have also done the same for us as a family. The managers are so knowledgeable, they will always do their best to get things put in place and also be a listening ear when things get tough. My grandad looks forward to seeing the girls every day. You can tell the care is of a high standard buy just seeing how well my grandad has come since they have been around.

My dad had a fall in April and I needed to put carers into place very quickly. Bloom and care came highly recommended from the paramedics and community nurse. I phoned them and explained what situation I was in, they came to visit the next day, with a plan in place if we were to proceed. They had moved
appointments around to fit my mum and dad in. They have provided an excellent service and helped me to put certain safety measures in place to assist mum and dad.

The local company provided me with all the care and assistance I required, following being infected with Covid whilst in hospital. When I was discharged I was sent home without any care plan whatsoever at a time when I felt extremely ill. The care and assistance provided by the company were extremely
good and very reassuring at a time when I most needed support.

Jessica Graziano

Jessica Graziano RGN, spent several years working as a Community Nurse in the District Nursing teams of Bedford and the surrounding area. She has gained extensive knowledge of the area and the services available to people, enabling her to focus on providing specialised services to clients.


Jessica is the Registered Manager at Bloom & Care and focuses on client assessments, review and quality control.

Kirsty

Kirsty Miceli

Job Title: Care Manager/Director Joined: 2018

Kirsty Miceli, RGN joined Bloom & Care in December 2018, with her background as a District Nursing Sister and Practice Nurse, she brings with her a wealth of clinical skills and additional service provider access. Kirsty's main focus is operating systems, staff training and people management.


Kirsty is our in-house training expert and provides mandatory training from a nursing and social care perspective to ensure all staff are trained and supported.

Mandy

Mandy Farmer

Mandy joined Bloom & Care in 2019, bringing a wealth of knowledge from her career in the social care sector. She oversees the delivery of care services ensuring the highest levels of care are provided to our clients. She liaises closely with our clients and their families, and the wider multidisciplinary team, particularly specialising in End of life care. As our valued Team Leader and Mental Health First Aider, Mandy spends a lot of her time supporting, shadowing and monitoring Senior and Junior staff on the field. Mandy’s kind and compassionate nature is impeccable and frequently lends a sympathetic ear to members of our team as well as the people we support.

Zoey

Zoey Lawrence

Job Title: Field Care Supervisior Joined: 2020

Zoey joined Bloom & Care in 2020 as a junior team member, since then her dedication and hard work have helped her progress further in her career. Zoey’s role as Field Care Supervisor is to support in the commencement of new care packages, liaising closely with the client, their families and the wider MDT, to ensure the set-up of care is a smooth and relaxed experience for all involved. Zoey produces personalised care plans and thorough risk assessments for each of our clients and is often a support in our client's annual reviews. Zoey is our computer whizz and is a pro at fixing our printer!
