I have been very pleased with Radfield. The carers are kind and efficient. I am able to get a full shower which was the main point. They are sensitive about aches and pains I tell them about. They also ask me if there is anything else they can do and do small chores that help me. Many off them have good senses of humour and their company is fun. I always feel respected.

We have used your company for a number of years and the service has always been excellent, no matter which carer comes here they always treat my husband with great care and dignity. It is a great relief for me knowing I can go out shopping and know he is safe and also to know my home is safe, that means a lot to me. Each carer is always willing to go the extra mile for me and help me any way they can.

This service has given the family peace of mind knowing that mum is cared for every day, when we are not able to get to her. She gets on well with the carers and they are very attentive to her needs.

Overall Experience
The management team went above and beyond in terms of scheduling care for my dad. As he needed more help, they very kindly stepped up, often very last minute visits which helped reassure me and my brothers who do not live locally.
Every effort was made to get my dad involved in his care needs with regular visits and opportunities for feedback. The team were amazing in trying to understand my dad´s character and tapped into his sense of humour. They were sensitive in realising when/ when not to chat him as he became increasingly isolated in his flat. They also respected his dignity and independence at all times.
Dad was sometimes difficult due to his frustration with his decreasing mobility but the care team understood this and always supported him patiently and calmly.

The team ensured everything was done safely and the app updates were a real lifeline for us as a family. Thank you so much - the team at Radfield ensured dad could stay in his apartment for as long as possible.

Thank you so much for this positive service review that will be shared with our team. Reading such comments is extremely rewarding for us and knowing we had such an impact to help your dad remain living at home, for as long as possible. We feel blessed to have such an incredible care team and management team. Thanks again for these kind words.

Our experience to date (interrupted by Joan's hospital condition at the moment) has been exemplary as always. Our carers have been assiduous in their attention and nothing has been too much trouble, and when and if she returns, we hope to renew acquaintance with the lovely people again.

Concluding months of 15-month cardiac rehab under the care and encouragement of Radfield. Improving from bed-bound, 24 hour care to single 2-hour visit per week. Faultless service throughout this period and very easy to achieve change. All carers are professional, respectful, clean, smartly dressed and timely. Arrangements are made clearly, with sufficient warning and definition. Emergency and other contacts are swiftly dealt with.

Overall Experience
Experience was very good. I didn't know quite what to expect but everything went well. Everything my partner requested was done as was anything asked for by me, before I went away. All cooking and laundry and shopping were done. The meals were good and took account of what my partner likes but made sure he had a varied diet and used the food which had been left for them. My partner went shopping with her too and she also made sure he went out for a walk each day that the weather was fit. She was a good companion but also left him alone so he didn't feel like he didn't have his own space. She helped him with a messaging app so I could speak with him each evening. Perhaps the best testimonial is that we have booked for her to return next time I am away and she will be here for a week again.

We would be happy to recommend her to anyone looking for a live-in carer, she is pleasant, polite, helpful and obliging whilst making sure he took medication, changed clothes and had some exercise.

We have been very pleased with Radfield. The carer always arrives on time and my husband is delighted to see her. She has adapted to his needs as they change. It is beneficial to him that he has the same carer for each session, due to his dementia. She is very willing to take him out swimming, singing and memory cafes and to spend time with him doing jigsaws, colouring, etc.

We have had care and support from Radfield care since July 2024. All the staff are pleasant, friendly, reliable, sympathetic. We have not had any negative experiences.

All the staff are known to him, he likes recognising the same faces. He has autism and all the carers understand and respect this. Communication with the office is always good and they are flexible to any change of plans even if it is at short notice. Thanks Radfield.

We have been using Radfield Home Care for over a month now. Apart from the mutual teething problems of getting to know how times work, we have been blown away by the attention to detail. The forethought that has helped us with any issues that may arise and the overall care that has gone into every hour that the carers spend with their client has been so reassuring. Any time I have called, there has been an immediate response. We could not have wished for a better service.

Following a long stay in hospital mums previous care package had expired and a new package was needed with increased calls. We requested Radfield based on prior knowledge of the company and thankfully they were able to take mum on. The initial assessment process was managed quickly & efficiently. The carers were friendly, helpful, respectful and looked after mum very well over the following 18+ months. I particularly liked the ability to review the call notes via the app, especially while away on holiday, etc. Mum's care needs continued to increase over time and Radfield was able to adapt & respond to this, however eventually as she required 24 hour care a move in to a Care Home became necessary. Mum & I would like to thank all the staff at Radfield for their outstanding care & support, and would highly recommend them..

We would like to introduce you to Louise, our Recruitment and Compliance Officer for Radfield Home Care Liverpool North, Sefton & Ormskirk. Louise is responsible for recruiting our team of expert care professionals and ensuring our care teams are set up for success in performing their roles. She also ensures that our carer and client information is compliant with the Care Quality Commission’s regulations.

Louise details her wealth of fantastic experiences:

“I have worked in a number of roles in the past having been in the Royal Air Force for a number of years until I had my daughter. I then worked for a finance company for a couple of years and progressed from Receptionist to a New Business Clerk. I then moved to the Santander Retail Contact Centre, I then moved into the Fraud Contact Centre within the first 12 months and progressed to a Contact Centre Team Leader, managing a team of 15 call handlers, dealing with customer escalations, complaints and making sure the customer journey was smooth. I remained with the bank for 11 years and only left due to redundancy. I wanted a new role which would be more engaging with people and moved to the North West Ambulance as a call handler which I really enjoyed and remained there for 7 months. I then moved to a home care company as a Recruitment Consultant and progressed to a Recruitment Account manager.”

“When I initially joined the home care company I had never worked in the care sector and couldn’t answer questions potential candidates would ask. I completed my care certificate training within the first 8 weeks and delivered home care for some time. This gave me the knowledge and experience to help and reassure potential candidate queries. I enjoy recruitment and getting to speak with a variety of people on a day-to-day basis.”

As a former recruitment consultant, Louise knows exactly how to find the best carers:

“I am aware of the recruitment needs for home care and how to identify good quality care professionals. I’m also familiar with North Liverpool and Sefton having previously recruited for these areas. Working in the community gives me an understanding of what the care professionals in the community go through each day – engaging with lots of different people, from potential candidates to clients and other HCPs. I have care certificate training, previous managerial experience, knowledge of the local areas and an understanding of the recruitment challenges within the care sector.”
