Overall Experience

Overall, I have had a very positive experience. All of my mum's carers have been kind and put Mum's needs first. They have also given me support and listened when I have had worries over what is a frightening time. They have all been very supportive of me, my husband and most of all, my mum.

Radfield has been a lifesaver for Mum. I'm so relieved that Mum is now being looked after all day. She looks forward to the carer's visits and loves their company. The carers are kind and efficient, nothing is too much trouble, and they are never in a rush.

Overall Experience
I started to receive care support three months ago. During the initial assessment, the service was explained clearly to me. The carers who support me are professional and respectful in my home, and I feel safe and happy while receiving support. At all times, the carers have respected my privacy and dignity. I have appreciated the consistency and continuity of the carers, particularly when I first started to receive support.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Radfield Home Care Nort to family and friends.

Overall Experience

Excellent company. All Staff are compassionate, professional, caring and total angels! Nothing is too much trouble for them when they attend my mum. The office is always available for any queries and they also advise me quickly if any issues are flagged by the carer visiting my mum. The phone is answered promptly. I really am delighted with this company and would highly recommend them.

Overall Experience
Mum used Radfield Home Care for a significant period of time until she recently moved into full-time care. Throughout her care, her needs were met with care, compassion and support. She very much enjoyed the companionship and help offered to her. Seeing her carers brightened her day and put a smile on her face.

The staff at Radfield have done a wonderful job looking after Mum, and I have always found them to be very helpful. I have nothing but praise for the care she has received. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs care at home.

Overall Experience

Brilliant, needed someone to shower my Mum and I was a bit nervous as wasn't sure how Mum would react. The girls were great and Mum has really took to them. Am going to be using Radfield for other services. They're really friendly at Radfield both the carers and all at the office.

The girls who care for my mum are excellent, kind, funny and just overall good people. Having someone come in and help take that pressure off myself has helped in so many ways plus my relationship with my mum is and has been so much better, thank you.

Radfield stepped into a challenging situation. An appropriate care package was efficiently organised and with attention to detail.

Carers were patient and persistent in their relationship with the client, understanding when it was necessary to be firmer and when it was appropriate to let their client be in charge. Good humour has always been a characteristic and very good communication between all necessary parties.

Radfield Home Care are looking after my daughter's personal hygiene, she has severe learning disability and cerebral palsy she is in her late fifties and can be very challenging but Radfield carers have been so patient, kind and respectful. They always have her smiling. Managers and office staff are so helpful and carer's are brilliant with her care, so glad I was recommended by a friend over a year ago. The best decision I made. Tru professionals 100%.

My mother had Alzheimer’s in the last few months of her life. Radfield carers behaved with exceptional care, friendliness and professionalism in ensuring that all Mum’s needs were met with dignity and diligence. The carers had an experienced feeling for what was required to maximise Mum’s well-being. As a son, I welcomed the extra security of seeing their friendly faces walk through the door four times each day and my mother and I had an excellent relationship with the well-trained and knowledgeable carers. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

Dave Bellis

Dave is Director of Radfield Home Care Liverpool North. Dave has worked for Shell for over 15 years, involved in a number of global projects, working with interesting people all over the world.

It is Dave’s belief that being able to interact with individuals from all walks of life is an integral part of being successful in the Home Care sector and he has brought all of these skills to his business.

Dave has first-hand home care experience, as sadly over recent years he has seen both his parents struggle with Dementia and the challenges this brings to family and loved ones. As the family journey continued, Dave’s inspiration for his business has been driven by his struggle to find high quality, person-centred home care for his parents.

Denys Hall

Denys joined Radfield Home Care Liverpool North in 2019 and has brought with him a wealth of experience in the care sector.

He has worked in home care since 2007 in various roles from project management to multi-site management. And, has also seen the benefits of working for both small and large home care businesses over the years. During this time Denys has had a range of career highlights from improving the care service, developing individuals and teams, and growing a business.

Louise details her wealth of fantastic experiences:

“I have worked in a number of roles in the past having been in the Royal Air Force for a number of years until I had my daughter. I then worked for a finance company for a couple of years and progressed from Receptionist to a New Business Clerk. I then moved to the Santander Retail Contact Centre, I then moved into the Fraud Contact Centre within the first 12 months and progressed to a Contact Centre Team Leader, managing a team of 15 call handlers, dealing with customer escalations, complaints and making sure the customer journey was smooth. I remained with the bank for 11 years and only left due to redundancy. I wanted a new role which would be more engaging with people and moved to the North West Ambulance as a call handler which I really enjoyed and remained there for 7 months. I then moved to a home care company as a Recruitment Consultant and progressed to a Recruitment Account manager.”

“When I initially joined the home care company I had never worked in the care sector and couldn’t answer questions potential candidates would ask. I completed my care certificate training within the first 8 weeks and delivered home care for some time. This gave me the knowledge and experience to help and reassure potential candidate queries. I enjoy recruitment and getting to speak with a variety of people on a day-to-day basis.”

As a former recruitment consultant, Louise knows exactly how to find the best carers:

“I am aware of the recruitment needs for home care and how to identify good quality care professionals. I’m also familiar with North Liverpool and Sefton having previously recruited for these areas. Working in the community gives me an understanding of what the care professionals in the community go through each day – engaging with lots of different people, from potential candidates to clients and other HCPs.
