It is a pleasure to write of the excellent way the whole organisation works to the benefit of my mum. The management side is efficient and there is a feeling of security that all eventualities are covered leaving no surprises to upset my mum. Only a small number of carers are involved with my mum which
serves to minimise any insecurity and confusion she experienced when larger numbers of carers were involved. The carers are reliable and come punctually, again minimising any confusion. They are kind, listen well and treat my mum with all the dignity one would hope for. They follow an agreed plan very thoroughly giving an ordered and comfortable start to the day. They also care and look for opportunities to go beyond that plan and become even more helpful to my mum. The carers have formed a good bond with mum and I am both confident in, and trust, them. My heartfelt thanks go out to them and the organisation that supports them.

The team of carers is outstanding. My mother's needs are assessed and attended to by carers of the highest quality. They are sensitive to change and adapt enthusiastically. They are even-tempered and unfailingly kind. We are very grateful.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.902 for Belong at Home Didsbury & Altrincham is calculated as follows: ( (37 Excellents x 5) + (4 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 41 Ratings = 4.902

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Belong at Home Didsbury & Altrincham is based on 7 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.7
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
