My dad was predominantly my mum's main carer. Dad fell ill suddenly leaving us needing support for mum. AIM had previously been providing some support but it only took one call to the manager to explain the situation and a solution including live in care was quickly and efficiently put in place. All
staff we dealt with were personable, professional and super flexible. A great service provider I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you to the manager and team

Our experience of AIM Homecare Service was excellent.
Holiday carer was provided whilst I and Mum's private carer were away.
The carers were great and Mum was very appreciative of their visits. Saying "I looked forward to them."
Overall a good service and peace of mind whilst on holiday.

My friend came out of hospital following a fall and pneumonia. She was sent home with a 4-visit-a-day care package in place, set by the hospital.
The care was poor, and it was not until AIM took over the care that my friend stated to improve. Her mobility is still not good but her disposition is as
it was before the visit to hospital. This is entirely due to the care the carers give her from AIM.

My Mum has been using AIM since June 2024. Mum is very well cared for and we are both very happy with the ladies that come every day to help her with her personal needs and cook her lovely meals of her choice.
Mum's area had a power cut recently and AIM contacted me to make sure I was aware and to
check that Mum was OK. Things like that make you realise that they really do care over and above their contracted hours.

My parents have always been happy with the twice daily visits for my mother and have great fondness for her carers. I have always thought that they go above and beyond, providing cards, decorations and treats.
Recently as my father was admitted to hospital we sought full-time care for the duration
of his stay. This was provided at very short notice with some carers even giving up days off to provide cover.
The care and kindness that they showed my mother was amazing making a difficult time for her as pleasant as possible.
We were extremely happy to have these wonderful carers looking after her and cannot recommend them highly enough.

When my father had to go into hospital, we asked AIM to help provide 24-hour care for my mother for the duration of his stay (they were already supplying 2 care visits a day).
Even though this was very short notice, they went above and beyond to provide all the care she needed including overnight.
All
of the ladies we have encountered have been exceptional, treating my mother with nothing but kindness and sympathy as she has found it very difficult to adjust to being apart from my father.
Not only has this put my mind at rest that she is being cared for well, but the communication has also been first-class.

What a relief having AIM looking after my mum, who has dementia, but who wants to stay in her own home. The carers have taken their time to get to know Mum and taken great pains to maintain her dignity, whilst providing for all her needs. Communication with the team has been first-rate, with the additional
facility of the online portal allowing me to see exactly what is happening in real-time - especially important to me as I live 200 miles away.
I would not hesitate to recommend this efficient, caring, thoughtful company to anyone whose elderly loved ones need assistance.

I would highly recommend AIM Homecare as they provide an excellent service for my Mum who has Alzheimer's. If there is ever a problem or query they always get back to me very quickly. Mum enjoys her visits and always says how lovely all the carers are. I get an update via an online care log system which
is really helpful for me to know what happened during each visit. I have peace of mind that her medication is administered daily correctly. Whenever I need extra care for Mum if I am not around, then they always assist with this, which is greatly appreciated. I have full confidence that Mum is cared for with compassion and all requirements are met daily.

AIM Homecare has been looking after my mother all this year. Their staff and the care that they give have been excellent, going above and beyond... i.e. taking glass bottles to the bottle bank for us.
The staff are always friendly and cheerful, taking pride in their work and in the care they give to
my mother.
I visited my mother recently - there was nothing for me to do. The house was clean and tidy - even the neighbour commented on how clean and tidy AIM Homecare has kept the house.

We chose AIM Homecare because:
1. My Aunty had used them and liked them
2. They are run by local carers rather than a franchise
3. They offer flexibility, e.g. 30 or 45 or longer sessions.
We've had a very positive experience. The carers are caring, which is, of course, most important. We had to
support my dad after a hospital visit, but they now support my mum with heavier household tasks too.
You do get different carers, and they aren't always on time. As my mum said, "we know they support other people who are much more reliant, and of course, they deal with emergencies too, so we know that they will prioritise us when we need it".
Also, because carers run the service, they can come out and fill in gaps when required. This is very reassuring for me and my sister, as we know we can rely on them.
They allow you to change your package easily as you find out what suits you, which is another reason to choose them.

Having the team from AIM visit my auntie 4 times a day means that she can remain in her own home. I always have peace of mind that my auntie is well cared for, and she has often told me that she looks forward to their visits. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the carers and the team managers are
very accommodating, cancelling calls when I can take Auntie out for lunch, or adding in extra calls if I’m going to be away. Both my auntie and I were very grateful recently when, after my auntie had a fall, a team member stayed with her til the medical team arrived. Thank you to AIM and their team, your dedication, professionalism and friendship to both my auntie and myself is much appreciated.

AIM Homecare is one of several care providers that my mother has used over the years. And I can honestly say that they are far away head and shoulders above their competitors. My mother has been using them for many years now and is always delighted with the service, care and concern that they show her.
As a son, they always keep me in the loop as to any problems that they find and advise me as to what steps to take. To my mother, they provide a caring, professional and pleasant service which she sees as a welcome addition to her daily activities. I can’t speak highly enough of them.

Erin Louanne Courtney

Erin Courtney is the newest member of our management team and proudly represents the next generation of Aim Homecare. As the daughter of Alison, our founder, Erin is learning every aspect of the business from the ground up to ensure the company’s values and high standards continue for years to come. When we say we are a family-run company, we truly mean it.


Erin has already achieved her Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and is now embarking on her Level 5 qualification, following closely in her mum’s footsteps. She has quickly become an integral part of the team, building fantastic working relationships with both staff and clients.

Karen Newman

Aren Newman has been a valued member of the Aim Homecare team for the past seven years, consistently demonstrating dedication, reliability, and a strong commitment to the company’s values. Over the years, Karen has proven herself to be an invaluable asset to both the management team and the wider staff community.


Karen possesses extensive knowledge in many areas of care, with particular expertise in medication administration. She is currently working diligently towards achieving her Train the Trainer qualifications and her Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, which will further enhance her ability to support and mentor staff—especially those who are new to the field.


Karen has already successfully completed her Train the Trainer qualification in Medication, achieving top marks and excelling in this area. Jennifer Murphy

Jen Is our assistant manager with over 28 years experience in care . She is responsible for all the training of staff, and taking control in Ali's absence. Jens qualifications include, Taqa level 3, NVQ 5, Advanced Safeguarding, advanced promoting independence. and makiton. Jen also has 11 years experience in autism.4 years experience as a NVQ assessor with the ability to train staff up to a level 5 NVQ in health and social care .
