Seniors Helping Seniors provided some fantastic support for my mother over more than two years, until her care needs increased and she moved into full time residential care. They were flexible, stepping in to respond to specific requests such as visits to the hairdresser and dentist and helping to increase the frequency of visits as her care needs changed. They were easy to communicate with and responsive thanks to a group that was constantly monitored. And (most important of all) they had a great team of carers who often went above and beyond to make sure that my mother was well cared for. She has even had visits from some of them at her new care home.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience. We're honoured to have supported your mother over the past two years and to have been able to adapt to her changing needs. It means a lot to hear that our team was flexible, communicative, and went above and beyond to provide care that made a real difference. Your kind words inspire us to keep providing the best possible support. Kind regards,
Seniors Helping Seniors have been great, My mum gets on with her carers really well and looks forward to their regular visits. It has really helped my mum and us as a family to have the regular support from the carers from Seniors Helping Seniors. Over time we have increased the number of care visits to be 5 days a week and the team have made it easy to make these changes. highly recommended
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that your mum enjoys her time with our carers and that our support has made a positive difference for your family. It's wonderful to know that increasing the care visits has been a smooth process for you. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to continuing to provide the best care possible. Kind regards,
We needed urgent support for Mum back in February - and were very impressed with the speedy response from Seniors. In less than a week from initial contact, Mum and I had been introduced to her new carer, an exceptional person who has provided kind support for the last 5 months.
I am also impressed by the prompt and positive responses I have had to minor queries which have cropped up along the way. Without exception, each member of the team has been knowledgeable about my Mum's situation, and readily able to respond to queries. I am so glad we found Seniors - and strongly recommend them to anyone seeking high quality care for their loved one.
Thank you so much for your kind words-we're truly grateful for the opportunity to support your family and provide the care your mum needed. It's wonderful to hear that our team's prompt response, exceptional carer, and ongoing support made a real difference over the past five months. Your recommendation means a great deal to us, and we're honoured to have been there for you. Kind regards,
All the helpers they use each week are brilliant, my parents are super happy to know they have support and the helpers have become friends to my parents. They have been super flexible with scheduling. If my parents need more help they can coordinate, flexible too if they need to reschedule and are always available to help with appointments. They also keep in contact with the family keeping them updated when 'situations' arise.
My brothers are I are not close by; in fact two of us live in the United States. We had a situation with my mother who needed to be admitted to hospital late at night. Seniors made sure my father was looked after, one of their team was with my mother until she was admitted. Cannot say enough about this team, they are without doubt the best and kindest people we could hope for to help with my parents needs.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly grateful for the trust you've placed in us to care for your parents. It's wonderful to hear our team has made such a positive impact and become a source of both support and friendship. We're always here to help and appreciate your continued support from afar. Kind regards,
My mother has used Seniors helping Seniors for over 18 months, and in that time she has come to rely totally on the service. All carers have been exceptional, and all are willing to go beyond the call of duty to help out. On the few occasions that my mother has had to go to hospital, the carers have supported her both in person and emotionally and made the trauma of the hospital visit much more bearable. My mother has the carers attending 5/6 days a week, and she has never been let down. Our family are all so grateful to everyone at SHS.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your mother's experience. We're honoured to have supported her over the past 18 months, and it means a lot to know she relies on us and feels truly cared for. Our team is committed to going above and beyond, and we're so glad that's been reflected in her care. Your family's appreciation means the world to us.Kind regards
Seniors provided an invaluable service for my mum, who at the time was deteriorating with dementia. They gave her friendship and took her out to coffee and shops, maintaining her links with local services and socializing. The ladies themselves were amazing. I can't recommend them enough. They were kind, genuine and would go out of their way to make my mum happy and feel valued. Amazing service including excellent communication with the office and management.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. We're truly honoured to have been able to support your mum during such a challenging time. Our team is passionate about providing not just care, but a meaningful connection. It means the world to know that made a difference for your family. We'll be sure...

I have been using this company to care for my Mum for the last couple of years. All the team are amazing. Happy to help out even at late notice. The carers are super friendly, caring and can't do enough to help my Mum who has Alzheimer's. It's such peace of mind when they are there, I can relax knowing my Mum is in excellent hands. I would highly recommend all the team.

Seniors helping seniors have provided wonderful support and companionship for my mother over many years. The lovely staff were carefully chosen to reflect mums needs and personality. They supported her in many ways, taking her out for walks, doing puzzles with her, and generally keeping her stimulated. When her dementia became very severe, they dealt with her in an extremely sympathetic manner. And in her last week or so, before she passed away, they were there for her all the time, night and day. Such a reliable service. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any person in need of some care and companionship in the home .
Thank you so much for your kind words. We feel truly honoured to have supported your mother over the years and to have been there for her during such important times. Matching our companions carefully to each client's needs is something we take great pride in, and we're so glad it made a difference...

We had help from Seniors for some time but they really excelled themselves in June 2024. I returned home after major surgery and we had a live-in carer from another firm. She was a disaster and had to go. The Seniors management came to our rescue. They organised a team of helpers to come several times a day and helped us through a very difficult time. We still have help whenever needed including after a recent operation. We are enormously grateful to them. The management are endlessly helpful and supportive. We have had several different seniors and they are all, without exception, kind, helpful, reliable and efficient. It's a pleasure to have them here.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and kind words. We're truly touched by your appreciation, and it's been our privilege to support you during such a difficult period. We're happy we could step in when you needed it most and help ease things after your surgery. It means a great deal to know that...
So happy we found SHS - everyone we have come into contact with has been kind, approachable, professional, friendly and caring. Everything we could want for our Mum from a companion/carer and especially that SHS do their best to match the helper with the user's interests such as music, gardening, literature - it all helps create a quick bond and lots of scope for chats and discussions. The social aspect is easily as important as the actual help around the house - invaluable.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that you've had such a positive experience with SHS. It means the world to us to know that our team has made a meaningful difference for your mum and your family. Matching our helpers based on shared interests is something we truly...
Then have been supporting my father with companionship and are very reliable. As well as companionship, the support will offer to take dad out for drives in the countryside ( which he loves) coffees and lunches out , but also are very reliable to support dad to medical appointments.
We are delighted with the service.
Thank you so much for your kind words and continued trust over the past three years. We're truly honoured to support your father and to know that he enjoys the companionship, outings, and countryside drives with our team. It's always our goal to provide not just reliable support, but meaningful...
I have found the care that Seniors Helping Seniors provide for my Mother is excellent, they are proactive and really care about their Clients. My Mother has been looked after by Seniors Helping Seniors for over a year now, in that time we have had a diagnosis of Alzheimers and they have tailored and altered the care provided with sensitivity and efficiency.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback. We're honoured to support your mother and truly appreciate your recognition of the care and adaptability our team provides. It's important to us to be responsive and compassionate as needs change, and we're glad that's been your experience.Kind regardsTim Heaney
It is also very reassuring to the family to know that mum has good companionship and is being so well cared for.
Communication with the office is also easy and friendly.
Thank you for your kind words and ongoing trust in Seniors Helping Seniors. We're so pleased to hear how much your mum enjoys her carer's visits and that the support has brought comfort to your whole family. It's a privilege to be part of her care, and we truly appreciate your lovely feedback.Kind regards,Tim Heaney
Our mum (aged 97) has vascular dementia which has seriously impacted her memory. This affects her ability to create relationships with new people and to engage in conversation with visitors. We recognised the importance a couple of years ago of ensuring she gets to talk to people outside the family and we were recommended to SHS.
Mum has had the same companion for circa 2 years. She is compassionate and kind, and encourages mum to chat without making her feel anxious about the lack of memory recall. The visits are extremely valuable to mum and it gives the family a much needed break knowing she is in excellent hands for the afternoon.
We find the SHS office team to be very approachable and accommodating with any requests for extra cover, etc.
My brother and I whole-heartedly recommend SHS to anyone who is looking for a trusted and compassionate companion for a relative.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear how much your mum and your family value the companionship. It's an honour to support her, and we're so pleased she's built a trusted bond with her companion. We truly appreciate your recommendation - it means a lot to us.Kind regards,Tim Heaney
