When Mum came out of hospital, she needed additional care during the night, above and beyond the discharge care package. I was grateful a friend had already recommended Acacia to me, and I had already spoken to the manager and her team, so they were my first point of call when we needed overnight
support. Even with the very short notice I gave them, everyone at Acacia was exceptionally professional and caring. It was so reassuring to know Mum was being looked after - she was able to sleep soundly knowing someone was there to help her when she needed it; this, in turn, made us sleep soundly too! Thank you Acacia!

Acacia have been fantastic!, it is such a relief to not have to worry about my mums care. The two ladies have been wonderful providing Mum's live in care. My mum is very happy and very well looked after. Would highly recommend!

Everyone who has helped our dad with the care he needs, has done so with genuine compassion and care. When we call the office, nothing is too much trouble and they sort out whatever we need very quickly. All of the other carers have been wonderful and our dad has really enjoyed their company. We even
needed 24 hour live in care are one point, and the carer who did this went above and beyond. We will always be very grateful to her. It's a really great company and I'm so pleased we found them to help our dad, who deserves the best care. Thank you to everyone at Acacia.

Good service and lovely carers. The only problem couldn't always keep to time within 15 minutes. It would have helped for me to have a phone call, instead of me ringing the office. I realise some calls take longer.

My husband has been receiving care from this company for nearly six years. They are a very caring company and everyone does their best to meet our needs. Any problems are quickly dealt with, the management is very approachable. The carers do their work with patience and good humour.

Acacia Home Care have been looking after our dad who has dementia for a few weeks of June and July up to now. What an amazing group of people. Office staff are caring and efficient and are really very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The carers are some of the most lovely and caring people we have
ever met. They talk to Dad, laugh with him, make him feel so comfortable, and talk to us and help us in so many ways. We feel like so much pressure has been taken off our shoulders when they are at the house.

My mum has dementia and I am very happy with Acacia Homecare. They are very approachable and do genuinely listen and do their very best to accommodate me and my mum's needs. I use Acacia for regular respite breaks and Acacia carers give me peace of mind when I am away, as I know that my mum is being

I’m so glad we found Acacia Homecare. It’s our first experience of care provision in my father's home and I was worried as he can be a proud and stubborn person at times.
Acacia were careful to understand my Dad’s needs, reassure him, and have delivered superbly on all of their promises. The carers
are first class - polite, considerate, assertive where need be and overall a great comfort to my father, who has struck up a couple of really nice friendships amongst them.
Communications are straightforward with the team. What a great business - would recommend it without caveat.

Have been using Acacia for over 2 years now. Always approachable, empathetic, quick to help and respond to questions and needs.
When visits are not going well, they have listened and addressed the issues. All carers arrive around the time they are allocated. Some, most use their initiative and do extra
to help.
They communicate well on the app, sometimes I feel not between themselves. Sometimes if messages had been read, it would reduce some of the work at the next call.
I have great trust in the carers and appreciate all they do, as my mum can be seen to be less appreciative at times.
I feel I have a good relationship with them all and have no worries about them being there.

Acacia Homecare have been supporting my elderly mum for just over a year now and have been a massive support in helping her live independently following her being ill and having reduced mobility. The carers are all so patient, kind and attentive. They use an app to update their visits and communicate
with myself when needed. It is so useful. The team are flexible and happy to accommodate any change of circumstances. My Mum has got to know many of the carers well and enjoys her chats and catch-ups with them during their care visits.

The Acacia Homecare team have been looking after my elderly father since January 2021. The standard of care provided is excellent and my Dad is always treated with respect. The service provided has been flexible throughout this time reflecting my Dad's needs and capability. Acacia remain flexible in
this regard which is a great comfort. Nothing is too much trouble for the carers, including shopping when this was needed, and if they have any concerns about him, they always let me know. Despite the difficulties throughout COVID-19 times Acacia always managed to provide carer visits and support. My Dad's well-being is extremely important and I trust the Acacia team to look after him. There is always someone available at the office to speak to if necessary. I have nothing but compliments for their service which is very well organised and managed.

Since Acacia Homecare started to provide personal care for my son and respite for myself and my wife we simply have not looked back. From the company owner to the caregivers, the administration and office staff who have all been incredibly professional and shown sensitivity and understanding towards
our family needs and have made all of our lives much more manageable in somewhat difficult circumstances. We cannot speak highly enough of the overall package that Acacia Homecare have provided.

We have been very pleased with the care given to our mother (in-law) not just last month but since we employed their care. They assist mother with washing and help her prepare her food when required as well as doing little chores for her. Mother enjoys her little chats with the carers too. Thank you

I have been using Acacia since August 2021 to provide companionship care for my husband. I am very pleased with the care received and my husband appreciates having the company of a man whilst I am out. The service has enabled me to go out for longer periods of time so that I can get some social life
and meet friends confident that my husband will feel safe and has someone to make sure he has something to eat and drink. I have found the management responsive to my requests for a carer, which are currently “as and when required” rather than on a regular basis. I also appreciate that this company is experienced in understanding clients’ needs and those of their relatives. They provide the same carer when possible and this continuity gives me additional confidence that my husband will feel comfortable with someone else in the house.

When my Dad began to need care we had to act fast. I contacted three companies and Acacia were not only the only one to respond straightaway, but also their reply was personal to my situation. When others did respond it was with a very generic reply. The staff at Acacia put my mind at rest very quickly
as they were easy to talk to, returned messages promptly, and really listened to all our needs. The assessment meeting was very easy and quick to set up, was very thorough and really reassuring and helpful. After this care began almost immediately. My Dad was very happy with all the carers he met. When care is needed for an elderly relative it is a very stressful time and there are so many unknowns, especially for first-time users of carers. The staff at Acacia could not have been more helpful. We felt that Dad was safe, well looked after, and that the care he received could be totally tailored to his needs. I can't thank everyone there enough for all the help they gave our family.

I just want to say how pleased we are with Acacia Homecare Stockport & Manchester.
After a bad care experience, we were very wary when we decided to look at alternative agencies but we were very fortunate to be recommended Acacia Stockport.
From the start, Acacia have been professional and understanding
of our situation and were able to help us out at very short notice. They assured us the level of care my father would receive would be very different and it certainly has been!
What a breath of fresh air the staff are, the carers are experienced, kind, understanding and extremely patient. Dad is always spoken to with respect, good humour and he looks forward to their visits.
Acacia try to keep to the same small group of staff where possible and the rota is sent out in advance which my dad loves as he knows who to expect and when. Communication has also been great, with any queries we raise receiving a timely response, and any small issues are smoothed out quickly. We highly recommend Acacia.

The director and her team have provided efficient, safe and friendly night-care of my frail and elderly mother since her discharge from hospital following a fall in October 2019. This continued until March 2020 when it was necessary to suspend care due to Covid-19. Mum really looked forward to the carers'
visits and considered them her friends. The fact that it was the same staff who regularly cared for her really mattered. I can't praise them highly enough and will be resuming normal business as soon as safely possible.

I have worked in the home care sector for over 20 years as registered manager and operations director and was finally able to open my own company.
