Their bespoke service is individual and personalised for all clients so they can ensure their caring, carefully selected and fully trained staff deliver service to the client’s preference.

They provide home visits from 1hour to 24hours a day so care never feels rushed whether it’s a friendly face to call by for a social visit or perhaps more complex support with personal care or dementia care they can help. At The Great Care Company, they take time to match carers to clients based on personality and interest. The Great Care Company have been fantastic looking after my 97-year-old Dad. He has wanted to remain in his home as long as possible and the carers have enabled that to happen. The girls, as he refers to them are all professional yet manage to be really friendly and put him at ease in difficult situations.
They are quite simply his lifeline and pretty much his life too. I live 250 miles away, so the company have saved me lots of worry too, popping in to check on Dad when I haven’t been able to get through on the phone and increasing care as and when required, when he’s been ill. All in all, I would warmly recommend them.

When my 90-year-old mother developed dementia, my brother and myself were worried she would no longer be able to manage safely in her own home. We live a long way from her and decided to use the Great Care Company on recommendation from her friend. They have been absolutely fantastic from the start.
They helped Mum through several crises both social and medical and have always treated her with the utmost care and respect. They have enabled her, rather than making her feel looked after and in doing so have allowed her to retain her dignity and feeling of independence. There has been a consistency of staff so that Mum has been able to get to know the carers who come in every day. All the carers are fantastic and seem like friends to Mum. Nothing has been too much trouble when circumstance or crisis has meant that rotas or calls have needed to be changed. We have been kept up to date with any changes or problems and receive copies of rotas each week. A really big thank you to all at the Great Care Company.

We are so lucky to have care companies like this in the UK. The staff at the Great Care Company are really caring, kind, compassionate, attentive and so on. I came across The Great Care Company when desperately looking for care for my 96-year-old mum. She really wants to stay in her own home of 50+ years where she has most of her memories, particularly of her other daughter, who she sadly lost last year. Her needs are increasing and the previous care company
were finishing their cover for the area where Mum lives. I can honestly say that despite the present national care crisis, they went out of their way to help me and ensure Mum wouldn't end up without care. All the carers and staff have been absolutely wonderful and managed to unobtrusively and professionally put in place the care that is not only helping Mum, but supporting me too. The ladies that visit are becoming friends and Mum looks forward to them coming. I thank my blessings that I found the company and recommend them highly for their compassion, quality and understanding of what is needed and for being there. Thank you.

I cannot express in words how good everyone is from this company, from the first contact, they showed compassion and understanding for my sister-in-law who is aged 90. The small team of excellent ladies who look after her have become like family to her, always turning up on time and with a smile on
their faces. When they have finished their duties, they sit and chat to my sister-in-law about her life and she loves this. Everything is recorded for the family to see so we can monitor her progress. These ladies go above and beyond in what they do and we will be forever grateful to you all for the effort you give.

My father in law has Alzheimers and expressed his wish to stay at home with his dog. Unfortunately, my mother in law had to go into residential care due to dementia, coupled with physical problems, requiring 24/7 care. The Great Care company helped us all through these huge changes in life. The carers
take their time, understanding the value of companionship and true care beyond just carrying out their duties. The process is geared towards finding out all about the individual in question and their all-important pet and then their needs are met. The most important thing the ladies bring is a smile. A regular care team help to keep the same familiar faces around your loved one for the times you cannot be there. We both work full time and the importance of being able to continue with our lives knowing that my father in law was well cared for in our absence cannot be underestimated. They truly are a Great Care Company, nothing is too much trouble, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We used the Great Care Company for 8 months, to assist my father who has Parkinson's to get him out of bed, shower, dress and give him breakfast every day. Both the carers and the organisation of the calls were superb, we highly recommend The Great Care Company.

Excellent care company. All staff are amazing. They cared for my ninety-six-year-old father, and as he had been a very independent person. I was not sure he would accept someone coming in to help with personal care. The ladies were absolutely lovely, and Dad classed them as his friends. They encouraged
him to play the piano every day and would sing along with him as they carried out their duties. I couldn’t have asked for more. They turned every negative into a positive. Sadly Dad is suffering from dementia and has had to go into a care home, but the ladies definitely made the last year at home very special. Thank you so much.

We found this agency to be very good. We only received home care for a short period of time, as our circumstances changed, but the agency went to great lengths to make sure that we had everything that my sister had all the support she needed. The carers are exemplary. The level of kindness that my sister

The care and support that the carers provided to Mum were second to none. We were all so grateful for the support as a family too. I don't think anyone really plans properly for needing care, so it was a big relief to get the support from such a professional and naturally caring company. The whole process
was very easy, with lots of communication and lots of information shared with us. Mum was able to get the support she needed, albeit it was a shorter term than we expected it to be. Reliable, friendly, professional, caring, kind, good-natured, knowledgeable - I could go on. Such a great company.

We are very impressed by the service from The Great Care Company. The entire team, from top to bottom, are absolutely lovely and incredibly professional. We have never had any issues with any of the service. The visits are always on-time (or you are contacted if there is a minor delay, eg, due to the
snow) and the group of carers that visit are very kind and empathetic. Everyone goes to great lengths to make sure that everything is ok, and the whole service feels very safe. My 98-year-old father has daily personal care and some domestic help provided by a wonderful group of carers - nothing is too much trouble when helping him to keep his independence and remain in his own home. The high level of care they provide, their compassion, dedication and friendliness are outstanding,
and he loves it when they are there.
Last week, my dad had a fall and was found by his carer - she was so professional and caring, contacting both myself and the Ambulance service immediately after assessing the situation, chatting and keeping him cheerful whilst we arrived and then working closely with us - we are so grateful that we can rely on this high standard of care at all times.
We work in partnership with the care company to help my father remain in his own home during these difficult times - the office staff are always available to chat to and offer/alter any arrangements as required. The carers and all staff provide an outstanding service.

In a nutshell, they are the best, the level of care, compassion and dedication to my mother has constantly exceeded all expectations.
On a day to day basis, all the care staff have proven to be of the highest calibre responding to the changing needs of my mother’s deteriorating condition. They're
protective, amenable and kind - she loves them all and they genuinely respond to her.
In a recent incident, my mother was in danger in her own home being threatened and intimidated as a victim of a scam. The care staff responded impeccably and professionally to ensure my mother’s continued safety, calling the police, informing myself and arranging temporary care accommodation through social services.
I can not thank them enough - this is not just a job they do it’s a vocation.

I can't fault anyone from this agency. They have all been completely exemplary, both the carers who come out to my mum and the people in the office. The ladies who do the frontline work are considerate, expert and conscientious. They do an incredibly difficult job but at all times keep Mum at the centre
of it all. I never feel she's just another client.
They also keep on top of feeding me information to give the other agencies involved in this, to make sure the whole thing stitches together. I've never been in a situation like this before, and having someone on your side who knows how things work is invaluable. I'm making it up as I go along, and I need all the help I can get.
The ladies in the office have also been very helpful. When I needed to increase the care package, it only took a short call to the manager and things happened. Suffice to say that this isn't the case with every organisation I'm dealing with - so having someone who listens and gets things done makes all the difference.

I have had the pleasure of having The Great Care Company looking after my wife who had Parkinson's and Dementia since the 9th of March. We have had four carers calling daily for a 4-hour sit to give me some respite. The care has been first class; I cannot fault the care in any way sadly, my wife passed
away on the 18th May, I am sure the care given by this company made the sad passing as comfortable as possible.

Anne has dedicated more than 20 years to the care sector and has been our Registered Manager since we first opened in 2018. Her passion lies in making sure every client receives not only the highest standards of care but also the kindness, dignity and respect they deserve. Known for her caring nature and approachable style, Anne builds strong relationships with clients, families and staff, creating a supportive and welcoming environment for all.


A key part of Anne’s role has been leading our Extra Mile Scheme, which has delivered over 1,800 hours of free care and support to clients who needed that little bit more.
