My Aunt has regular visits from the carers and she is always looking forward to seeing them. She speaks so highly of them and loves their companionship. From the carers to the people in charge, everyone seems so kind and caring. We really cannot fault the service at all and my Mum is really pleased, it's a weight off her shoulders knowing that my Aunt is cared for so well.

I visited my sister yesterday, the first time in 2 years and was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of her home. She greatly looks forward to her carers coming in and is looked after very well, in not always easy living circumstances. We are very happy with this service and we know my sister is. Thank you for your care and attention.

The carers who visit my parents each day are simply wonderful. They treat my parents with respect and warmth and make them feel that nothing is too much and always go "the extra mile", sometimes literally in having to leave their car and walk through the snow to reach them. They have got to know my parents as individuals and are tuned in to their likes, dislikes and needs. They take the time to chat and share news which has helped prevent feelings of isolation, especially during COVID when visitors have been fewer. I could not be more wholehearted in my recommendation of this company.

The Great Care Company have been fantastic looking after my 97-year-old Dad. He has wanted to remain in his home as long as possible and the carers have enabled that to happen. The girls, as he refers to them are all professional yet manage to be really friendly and put him at ease in difficult situations. They are quite simply his lifeline and pretty much his life too. I live 250 miles away, so the company have saved me lots of worry too, popping in to check on Dad when I haven’t been able to get through on the phone and increasing care as and when required, when he’s been ill. All in all, I would warmly recommend them.

When my 90-year-old mother developed dementia, my brother and myself were worried she would no longer be able to manage safely in her own home. We live a long way from her and decided to use the Great Care Company on recommendation from her friend. They have been absolutely fantastic from the start. They helped Mum through several crises both social and medical and have always treated her with the utmost care and respect. They have enabled her, rather than making her feel looked after and in doing so have allowed her to retain her dignity and feeling of independence. There has been a consistency of staff so that Mum has been able to get to know the carers who come in every day. All the carers are fantastic and seem like friends to Mum. Nothing has been too much trouble when circumstance or crisis has meant that rotas or calls have needed to be changed. We have been kept up to date with any changes or problems and receive copies of rotas each week. A really big thank you to all at the Great Care Company.

We are so lucky to have care companies like this in the UK. The staff at the Great Care Company are really caring, kind, compassionate, attentive and so on. They are beyond our expectations and they really take care of everything for you, making the whole process a lot less stressful. It is sad to see a loved one need care and it can be quite stressful, with lots of big decisions to make, having a company like the Great Care Company available to support our family has been a big help and made everything so much easier.

The Great Care Company supported my Mum before she had to move into a home. They were amazing and supported her so much. She really wants to stay in her own home of 50+ years where she has most of her memories, particularly of her other daughter, who she sadly lost last year. Her needs are increasing and the previous care company were finishing their cover for the area where Mum lives. I can honestly say that despite the present national care crisis, they went out of their way to help me and ensure Mum wouldn't end up without care. All the carers and staff have been absolutely wonderful and managed to unobtrusively and professionally put in place the care that is not only helping Mum, but supporting me too. The ladies that visit are becoming friends and Mum looks forward to them coming. I cannot express in words how good everyone is from this company, from the first contact, they showed compassion and understanding for my sister-in-law who is aged 90. The small team of excellent ladies who look after her have become like family to her, always turning up on time and with a smile on their faces. When they have finished their duties, they sit and chat to my sister-in-law about her life and she loves this. Everything is recorded for the family to see so we can monitor her progress. These ladies go above and beyond in what they do and we will be forever grateful to you all for the effort you give.

My father in law has Alzheimers and expressed his wish to stay at home with his dog. Unfortunately, my mother in law had to go into residential care due to dementia, coupled with physical problems, requiring 24/7 care. The Great Care company helped us all through these huge changes in life. The carers take their time, understanding the value of companionship and true care beyond just carrying out their duties. The process is geared towards finding out all about the individual in question and their all-important pet and then their needs are met. The most important thing the ladies bring is a smile. A regular care team help to keep the same familiar faces around your loved one for the times you cannot be there. We both work full time and the importance of being able to continue with our lives knowing that my father in law was well cared for in our absence cannot be underestimated. They truly are a Great Care Company, nothing is too much trouble, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

All of the staff were incredibly caring, kind and supportive of our father and helped him to stay in his home, as he wished to. We couldn't fault the service provided and we felt confident that he was being looked after. Thank you.

We used the Great Care Company for 8 months, to assist my father who has Parkinson's to get him out of bed, shower, dress and give him breakfast every day. Both the carers and the organisation of the calls were superb, we highly recommend The Great Care Company.

Our experience of The Great Care Company has been excellent and we have all been very pleased with the service. All of the team are really kind and very accommodating. They are cheerful, kind and very professional. The support from everyone has been so strong, which has been so important to us as a family at a very challenging time. All the extra things that the team do, like picking up shopping for free and collecting prescriptions at no cost, has been really good. It is clear that the customers are very important to them. Excellent care company. All staff are amazing. They cared for my ninety-six-year-old father, and as he had been a very independent person. I was not sure he would accept someone coming in to help with personal care. The ladies were absolutely lovely, and Dad classed them as his friends. They encouraged him to play the piano every day and would sing along with him as they carried out their duties. I couldn’t have asked for more. They turned every negative into a positive. Sadly Dad is suffering from dementia and has had to go into a care home, but the ladies definitely made the last year at home very special. Thank you so much.

We found this agency to be very good. We only received home care for a short period of time, as our circumstances changed, but the agency went to great lengths to make sure that we had everything that my sister had all the support she needed. The carers are exemplary. The level of kindness that my sister and our family felt from everyone at The Great Care Company was what we needed at a difficult time. The care and support that the carers provided to Mum were second to none. We were all so grateful for the support as a family too. I don't think anyone really plans properly for needing care, so it was a big relief to get the support from such a professional and naturally caring company. The whole process was very easy, with lots of communication and lots of information shared with us. Mum was able to get the support she needed, albeit it was a shorter term than we expected it to be. We are very impressed by the service from The Great Care Company. The entire team, from top to bottom, are absolutely lovely and incredibly professional. We have never had any issues with any of the service. The visits are always on-time (or you are contacted if there is a minor delay, eg, due to the snow) and the group of carers that visit are very kind and empathetic. From my first phone call to them, (they were recommended to me), I found them to be very professional and accommodating, and they ensured they kept us informed at every stage.
