I have seen the Great Care Company in action and know that they are outstanding in care. They gave our 86 year old family member a free home care assessment at short notice in the evening to allow him to come out of hospital after a fall, and set him up with a tailor made support package to suit his needs and preferences. The carers always treated our relative and his wife as if they were family, going above and beyond so that they felt safe and cared for, and it gave us tremendous peace of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend the Great Care Company to anyone. They have indeed earned their 5 star rating in my experience.

The management team is responsive and efficient and takes time to get to know the needs of their individual clients. In my husband's case, this meant providing continuity of care through 4-6 named carers so that he doesn't feel he is dealing with strangers every day - a real blessing for someone with dementia. The company provides in-depth training for its staff and seems to look after and value them too.

After a difficult experience with previous carers, this has been very reassuring for us as a family. Their calm and supportive approach has made a real difference, and it's comforting to know she is in good hands. Thank you for your continued support.

One of the wonderful carers that come to support my father from the York branch noticed that dad was not himself that day and was still in bed. Thankfully, this was enough to make her think something was off amd as she tried to get him up and moving that all was not well. To cut a very long story short, she called an ambulance and dad was taken straight into hospital. I am so appreciative that she came that day and didn't just think dad was having an off day or a lie in and got him the help he needed. I dread to think what would have happened had she not come.

The GCC have been looking after my mother for the past few years. I can recommend the GCC for their kindness, dependability, and diligence during this period. From the first phone call with James, all the staff and carers have shown my mother and myself nothing but kindness, empathy and care. The standard from all the care staff has been outstanding and they have made my mothers journey that much easier. We are very pleased with The Great Care Company, they are enabling Mum to stay in her own home where she is happy and comfortable. They have been consistently good for over a year now. I feel lucky to have found them and happily recommend them to anyone with care needs.

My mother was very independent and resisted the idea of having care for some time. However, she soon came to regard her carers as friends and looked forward to seeing them. It was important to her that she always saw the same two ladies and that she knew exactly when they would be arriving. I was very glad of their care.

They were always professional, but caring with it - we knew who was attending and they were always on time, happy to do anything she needed and mum looked forward to their visits. The continuity of care was fantastic, they got to know mum quickly and delivered highly person-centred care, with extensive notes left so we could all see what had been going on - thoroughly recommend it!
