It is difficult to leave a vulnerable family member in the care of strangers, to trust the care will be of the standard you would want. We can't praise Radfiedl enough - we trust them completely. My parents-in-law are absolutely delighted with the care provided by Radfield Home Care staff, and regardless of whether or not they are regular carers, they speak highly of the service they provide. Within the company's remit, there is nothing too much trouble to offer help with during the home care service and completed with great professionalism. This is the third company that I have used for my partner and it is by far the best. The staff are always polite, friendly and efficient when I contact them and deal quickly with any requirements that we have. My experience of Radfield Home Care has never been less than positive. The care staff live up to their description - carers. They are efficient with an always positive attitude to my wife and myself. Carers are found to be always caring and eager to please. Almost always punctual but sometimes have different work schedule to those supplied to the client. Clients' schedules are sometimes not received before a visit.

My mother has Alzheimer's and has recently moved in with me. Earlier this year we both caught Covid. This revealed that we needed help.
My brother sourced Radfield. He was impressed with the management team who were extremely helpful. They were able to pick up after the emergency team left us.
Since then the lovely ladies have called every morning to get mum up, washed, and dressed. Bless them they then tidy her bedroom and empty the commode.
They have all been polite, caring, and respectful to mum. She enjoys their visits immensely and looks forward to chatting with them.
I have nothing but praise for our lovely ladies. Having been a "Care Bear" myself in care homes and private homes I know how hard a job this is. They are always cheerful, always ready to chat and mum thinks of them as family.
She's happy, so we are happy and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else who needs help. They have certainly made our lives easier and much less stressful.

I have been receiving care from Radfield for almost a year now. Whilst there has been quite a high turnover of staff, I have always received good service from them. If I have needed to review my care call package they are helpful and obliging, even when I know the care sector is in crisis at the moment! Staff receive good training and are willing to learn new skills to help the client.

We have been absolutely delighted with the quality of care provided by Radfield for my father. The carers are very professional, helpful and kind. The administration is very efficient and the app is a wonderful idea. It means that I can check after each visit to get a professional opinion as to how he is which is great for my peace of mind. Radfield Care has provided at home care to my relative since September last year and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The whole process of setting up the service was straight forward. With 4 visits a day 7 days a week this meant a number of different carers visited and without exception, each one was caring, respectful, supportive and focused in helping my relative. That they genuinely care for their clients is very clear from the first visit and the ease and speed with which they all built a relationship of trust and friendship with my relative is impressive. They really are lovely people. The detailed feedback given via their app is massively helpful and reassuring to the family. There is always someone available to speak to with regard to questions as well as offering a comforting chat if needed. At a time that can be so difficult for families for so many reasons they all provide a huge comfort.

From the first, joining Radfield Home Care I have felt able to talk to them about anything bothering me and felt satisfied that I have been listened to fairly. The carers are all discrete and try to keep the client's dignity as much as they can when dealing with personal situations which are needed, most of the time for clients who need personal care. I personally have never felt unhappy in these situations.

Jackie, co-owner and director of Wakefield & Dewsbury holds a wealth of experience in the social and supported housing sector and has cared for a wide range of client needs throughout her career. Jackie has also managed a Sheltered Housing Scheme for a number of years providing independent living, care and support to older residents and this experience has driven her ambition and inspiration to provide an outstanding care and support service to older people in their own homes.
Jackie, also a wonderful mum to her two sons Tom and Sam, has always had a passion for making a difference to people’s lives. Jackie explains, “Owning and operating your own business enables us to have control over the quality of services we provide. My husband and I have both previously worked for employers where we have had limited decision-making power regarding the quality of services that were provided and by running our own business, we will have full control over the strategic direction of the business and ensuring that the quality of services remains outstanding.”
Mark, co-owner and director of Wakefield & Dewsbury holds a wealth of experience in the social and supported housing sector and has cared for a wide range of client needs throughout his career.
Mark explains, “We both enjoy working with people and have a commitment to treating people as we would want to be treated ourselves. We understand the importance of maintaining independence and choice and being empowered to live your life as you would wish in your own home and community.
We also want to be an employer of choice in the community and for our workplace to be a positive, supportive environment and a pleasant place to be, offering great career opportunities as we grow our business.
We live in the local area and our office in Ossett is central to the communities we will be supporting and caring for. Our children, both at school in Ossett, are our inspiration for undertaking this new venture, and we look forward to establishing our business within our local community, and being a positive role model for them.”
Gemma is the registered care manager for the Radfield Home Care Wakefield and Dewsbury office and has worked in the care sector for over 13 years.
She commenced her career as an administrator and soon became involved in supporting the delivery and coordination of care.
Gemma very quickly progressed into her first management role in 2014 as a service manager. After taking a short career break to spend time with her family, she stepped back into a management role a year later, gaining her CQC Registration. Her career in care has offered her great flexibility to balance work with family life.
