Atwell Care

In general, the care provided has been satisfactory. However, I have some concerns at times about some carers' abilities/actions mainly caused by their understanding of what I say to them and what they say to me. As they are all foreign people, I find there are language/culture difficulties at times with some but not all the carers. Some are more capable of carrying out their duties than others. Also, my wife is happier dealing with the female carers than the male ones.

As a carer myself for many years I know the importance of great care for all clients, as my mums health deteriorated we had to have care put in place for her to stay at home , Atwell Care are amazing, the carers that look after mum take the time and care needed to keep her safe and happy , the office keep me and my sister up to date with any additional needs and we appreciate everything they all do , mum doesn't want to go into a home and with their support we know she's well looked after, safe and happy. These are the values I use as my job and I'm so pleased they have the same highest of standards anyone could want for their loved ones.

The manager and her team have made great efforts to make sure my mother has the care she requires. Communication by email and phone is excellent and I feel that the team of carers appointed to meet my mother's needs has been carefully managed.

The carers are very experienced and helpful and give an excellent service all the time. Nothing is too much trouble.

All staff members that have cared for mum are great. No complaints at all.

Most of the carers are good and do as requested. A few only do the basics and watch the time closely. A few became good friends and are ready to do a little extra if time is running short.

Finding the right care at the right time, can seem like navigating a maze, Atwell Care have made the process much easier. I couldn’t ask for a kinder group of people to help my family ensure that Mum has the very best care.

The care my husband receives from your carers is excellent. He responds greatly with 3 carers in particular who he looks forward to seeing. It would be really good if possible for them to visit and care more often.

The staff of Atwell Care are very reliable and work hard to meet the needs of my 96-year-old mother.

Overall happy with service. Some carers take the initiative to "wipedown sides/take the rubbish out etc", others fo bear minimum.

Every carer Atwell sends is fantastic. They treat daddy with care and respect and are always cheerful and kind. We are especially fond of a couple of carers in particular, when daddy had a fit recently she was here, and even though she was shocked she was still professional and great comfort.

I have found the carers provide excellent care for my mum. Always on time and extremely helpful.

My dad came out of hospital in summer 2020 and needed care at home due to greatly reduced mobility. Atwell Care have been providing care for him since then and both he and I think the care is first class. The staff are excellent and his life is enriched by their visits, his health has improved as a result of their care and attention. He looks forward to their visits, he has a good rapport with all the staff and management alike. Staff have helped him with technology during lockdown so I'm able to have video calls with him and they take the trouble to show him any pictures he is sent by the family. I don't think that is in their job description but it's certainly made a big difference at this time. I'm so pleased that Atwell Care were able to provide care for dad.

Very good, friendly service. Being able to read the care report after each visit is very reassuring.

All the carers that visit me are very helpful and easy to talk to and only too eager to help around the flat. I'm very satisfied with their care.
