The Management team are excellent always there to help if needed. Response to queries emails is first class and are always on the end of the phone if needed. Thank you Steady Care Services.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the care I receive from Steady Care. My main carers are excellent and I am handled with extreme care and treated with respect at all times. On occasions when the main carers are not available, other carers have not been quite as thorough. On infrequent occasions, carers have been more than half an hour late, and I would appreciate a call to advise me of the situation.
Honestly can't thank Steady Care Services enough for all their help and support with our mother who usually doesn't accept outside help well but these lovely carers are so kind and chat with her and always do their best for her. Thank you, you're absolute Angels for us.

Overall I find the care very good. Times can sometimes be a bit uncertain but mostly alright. Also sometimes I have three different carers on three days running. I prefer if I get the same carer on consecutive days.
My mum's care team has been amazing - kind, compassionate, trustworthy, and helpful. Knowing that they are there has made all the difference. In particular, the carer has been a star. In addition, the office team has checked in regularly to ensure that the care package remains appropriate and that everything is on track.
The quality of care provided was very poor, the carer was very rude and unhelpful, refusing to listen to the patient and to help them with toileting or anything other than heating up a microwave meal. The carer was very dismissive of the patient, talking over them, and ignoring any feedback from them. The patient was left to feel very upset because of this rude behaviour and the carer blamed the patient for being "difficult".

Our carers provided the best personalised care possible. I was not sure what to expect when the care package was first put in place, but they exceeded my expectations. Our carer team showed mum courtesy, respect and true friendship. We will always be eternally grateful.

We have been using Steady Care for a couple of years now for my dad's nursing care as he has dementia and issues with his mobility. He has double-handed care 4x daily and is always treated with dignity, respect, care and good humour. The carers also now order and administer his medication as well as consistently feeding him breakfast, lunch and shakes. They will also contact the district nurses or doctors surgery if they have any concerns. The admin team are fantastic at keeping me in the loop with what is going on and are very good at communicating regards any additional requests. I am extremely grateful for this and would have no hesitation in recommending this agency.

We have been clients of Steady Care for a number of years. They care for my elderly Mother, 93 years of age and bedridden. I have found them to be reliable, caring, polite, and easy to work with. We have had carers from Steady Care since December 2022, and they have been compassionate and caring throughout this time. They encourage my husband to eat and drink if he is not and ensure he has taken his medication. The team work hard to create a seamless service throughout the week and holiday periods providing carers that he knows. The admin check in that everything is going well and there are visits to review his care with changes made to ensure he gets the best possible care and where we have questions, these are responded to immediately.

We have been using Steady Care since my husband fell downstairs badly in October 2023. We have a core group of two carers twice a day and I could not manage without them. They are without exception an excellent group of people. My husband has dementia and can be quite tricky at times but they manage him extremely well. I am always amazed at their good humour with the difficult job they have to do. I am also impressed with the admin support and visits to check that everything is working well. I cannot recommend Steady Care highly enough.

As my father has dementia, to keep continuity Steady Care use the same carers to help Dad. They are kind, caring and helpful and Dad is very comfortable with them going in. The Agency keep me informed and updated if there is anything they feel I need to be aware of. Dad’s well-being has greatly improved since he is being looked after by them.

One is more like a family friend and I trust her totally, she is of great reassurance to me whilst I am at work and I know my mother is very much cared for and is safe. Our other carer is, again, fabulous with Mum and I am so lucky to have them both, I certainly do not want to lose them.

The office-based team regularly ask for feedback, are always helpful and do everything they can to manage any requests etc. It's very helpful to receive the weekly updates on Mum's care. It's good that the supervisor occasionally visits Mum to review her care plan.
My mother suffers from dementia, so without help would not remember to take her medicines. Having the carers look after her means she is in a much more stable condition.
The carers also take care of my mother's personal care and will let me know if there are any problems that I need to bring to the attention of her GP. Also, they will liaise with me if supplies are running low.
It has always been my mother's desire to stay in her own home - the carers make this possible. Knowing that the carers visit three times a day gives me and my brother peace of mind.

If I could rate this company a zero then I would! They do not listen to your requests, my father in law doesn't like the carers they send out yet they still send the same ones. We cancelled the service due to family taking over but they're still turning up, the carer on duty rings the family member to complain about him every single day! They're forceful with him and gave him double morning medication (2 days together) and then we find out by social services they're not a trained company to do blood sugar for his diabetes, yet they've done it every day. Absolutely appalling!
My 97-year-old father had requested that one of my stepmother's carers be changed. The carer in question is delightful, and my brother and I have no concerns about their caring duties. I contacted Steady Care and spoke to one staff member, who was very understanding and agreed to find a substitute carer. Problem solved, thank you.
