I found the team at Steady Care to be kind and thoughtful of the needs of my elderly mother. Not living close by, I felt reassured that she was receiving the best care which put my mind at rest. The communication between Steady Care and myself was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. I would

We have been using Steady Care for a couple of years now for my dad's nursing care as he has dementia and issues with his mobility. He has double-handed care 4x daily and is always treated with dignity, respect, care and good humour. The carers also now order and administer his medication as well as
consistently feeding him breakfast, lunch and shakes. They will also contact the district nurses or doctors surgery if they have any concerns. The admin team are fantastic at keeping me in the loop with what is going on and are very good at communicating regards any additional requests. I am extremely grateful for this and would have no hesitation in recommending this agency.

We have been clients of Steady Care for a number of years. They care for my elderly Mother, 93 years of age and bedridden. I have found them to be reliable, caring, polite, and easy to work with. They show genuine care for my Mother's comfort and well-being. The office staff helpful too. They take note
of any concerns I may have and work to address them in a polite and professional manner. I am appreciative of the standard of care they provide.

We have had carers from Steady Care since December 2022, and they have been compassionate and caring throughout this time. They encourage my husband to eat and drink if he is not and ensure he has taken his medication. The team work hard to create a seamless service throughout the week and holiday periods
providing carers that he knows. The admin check in that everything is going well and there are visits to review his care with changes made to ensure he gets the best possible care and where we have questions, these are responded to immediately.

We have been using Steady Care since my husband fell downstairs badly in October 2023. We have a core group of two carers twice a day and I could not manage without them. They are without exception an excellent group of people. My husband has dementia and can be quite tricky at times but they manage
him extremely well. I am always amazed at their good humour with the difficult job they have to do. I am also impressed with the admin support and visits to check that everything is working well. I cannot recommend Steady Care highly enough.

As my father has dementia, to keep continuity Steady Care use the same carers to help Dad. They are kind, caring and helpful and Dad is very comfortable with them going in. The Agency keep me informed and updated if there is anything they feel I need to be aware of. Dad’s well-being has greatly improved
since he is being looked after by them.

The care my mother receives from our two carers from Steady Care is second to none. One carer is so compassionate and knowledgeable regarding dementia and takes her time to ensure my mother eats and actually swallows her medication. She is always adapting and thinking of ideas to encourage Mum to eat
and interact.
One is more like a family friend and I trust her totally, she is of great reassurance to me whilst I am at work and I know my mother is very much cared for and is safe. Our other carer is, again, fabulous with Mum and I am so lucky to have them both, I certainly do not want to lose them.
When I message Steady Care, they always respond and listen to me, nothing's too much trouble. Thank you Steady Care, you live up to your name.

My mother has had great care from the Steady Care team over the last couple of years. It's very reassuring to know that Mum is well looked after and that the carers really do 'care'.
The office-based team regularly ask for feedback, are always helpful and do everything they can to manage any requests
etc. It's very helpful to receive the weekly updates on Mum's care. It's good that the supervisor occasionally visits Mum to review her care plan.

Steady Care Services Ltd has been caring for my mother for nearly two years, and in that time, they have never missed a visit; they are her lifeline. The office staff are always easily contactable by phone or email and send me weekly written reports.
My mother suffers from dementia, so without help
would not remember to take her medicines. Having the carers look after her means she is in a much more stable condition.
The carers also take care of my mother's personal care and will let me know if there are any problems that I need to bring to the attention of her GP. Also, they will liaise with me if supplies are running low.
It has always been my mother's desire to stay in her own home - the carers make this possible. Knowing that the carers visit three times a day gives me and my brother peace of mind.

If I could rate this company a zero then I would! They do not listen to your requests, my father in law doesn't like the carers they send out yet they still send the same ones. We cancelled the service due to family taking over but they're still turning up, the carer on duty rings the family member
to complain about him every single day! They're forceful with him and gave him double morning medication (2 days together) and then we find out by social services they're not a trained company to do blood sugar for his diabetes, yet they've done it every day. Absolutely appalling!

My 97-year-old father had requested that one of my stepmother's carers be changed. The carer in question is delightful, and my brother and I have no concerns about their caring duties. I contacted Steady Care and spoke to one staff member, who was very understanding and agreed to find a substitute carer.

My grandmother is being cared for by Steady Care, with really challenging conditions, but the carers are kind and patient and treat her with dignity. The management has been so helpful and on top of issues with my grandmother's worsening health. I feel she is in safe hands with them.

Steady Care has looked after my neighbour for several years, and although she is non-mobile, she has never had a bed sore in all that time. The staff notice any changes in her condition and seek medical help straight away.
They consult with those that know her to make sure they provide her with the
food that she likes. If she doesn't like something, it will not be bought again.
If there is any spare time when providing care (four times a day), then that time is not wasted, and the carers do housework.
My neighbour is always clean with combed hair and wearing appropriate clean clothes every day.
Management regularly rings me to keep me informed of any issues and to check on how she is doing. They have enabled her to stay in her own home for several years, which is what she has always requested. Without Steady Care, it would not be possible, and she would have to go into a home.

Steady Care has been amazing. The carers are lovely and make sure she is safe, and any small jobs they have time to fit into their 30mins slot are no trouble at all. The office always contacts me, "daughter", if they will be delayed or a cover would be put in place if allocated carers are not in.

I'm extremely impressed with Steady Care. They ensured that my mum had the same carers attending, so they got to know her requirements, and Mum felt comfortable with them. The kitchen was kept immaculate, and they washed up and wiped the surfaces before leaving. We've had other care agencies, but I
must say, I'd rate Steady Care at the top of the list.

My 92-year-old mother (dementia/mobility challenges) was cared for by Steady Care Services in her own home for about three years. The quality of care given to Mother was excellent by individual consistent staff. They communicated concerns with me well, even though I do not live in the UK, and understood
Mother's individual needs well and as she deteriorated they changed how they cared for her with a sense of humour, respect and humour.
I felt confident to report any concerns to management about my mother's care or her health and well-being and that I would receive a timely email response about how they were going to address these, i.e. call a doctor/nurse out for a home visit.
Management communication improved significantly over time once some concerns were raised, for example when a key member of the care team was on holiday or off sick we were not always informed of who would be replacing her.
One area to develop might be for management to consider a time electronic check-in system.

Steady Care Services has been caring for my mother for nearly two months since her discharge from the hospital. Every single one of the carers we have had has been kind, attentive and caring, and everyone has treated Mum like a full, real person -- they all listen to her and take her wishes into account.
The personal care is excellent and is all carried out without any loss of dignity. The unfailing good humour of all the carers has made this difficult time so much easier for Mum and for all of us. So many thanks to everyone who has come to help her -- and particular thanks to the dream team, whose care and attention are impeccable. I would not hesitate to recommend Steady Care to anyone in need. We have not had a single problem, and the flexibility shown when we have had to request an earlier visit or cancel a visit has been really helpful. Many thanks to you all.

Steady Care provides an excellent service. The service is well organised, efficient and reliable. Every member of staff I have met or spoken to have been extremely professional, caring and understanding. They have always immediately contacted me about any concerns they have had and have always acted
promptly and appropriately to any queries or concerns I have had. The care given has been of a high standard and a caring and trusting relationship has been established. I would recommend this service without hesitation.
