One Day At A Time Home Care is a family run, domiciliary care company based in Woodley. They cover all the areas from Woodley and around, examples; Earley, Winnersh, Wokingham, Finchampstead, Crowthorwn, Sonning, Hurst, Twyford and so on.

They aim to work in partnership with service users, their family and/or friends to provide care of the highest quality, promoting independence within the framework of the essential values of daily living.

One Day At A Time Home Care believes in placing local staff in local employment and is able to provide experienced care and support staff to look after every need, in the comfort of a person’s own home.

One Day at a Time was incredibly helpful in arranging care at short notice after Mum had a fall. In fact, they were the only agency in the area that offered to review their schedules to find carers, most just said there was no one available. All the carers were cheerful and helpful and treated Mum
with compassion and dignity. They provided as much support as necessary while encouraging her to regain confidence and the ability to look after herself again. The agency was flexible in rearranging carers to fit around hospital appointments etc. We had no complaints whatsoever and were very grateful for the support the carers gave. Thank you, team, for all your help looking after my mum.

One Day at a Time have been helping me for about 18 months since becoming mostly bed-bound with mobility and other issues. They come every Monday for a longer visit when I can get a shower and Wednesday/Friday for shorter visits for a good wash and change of clothes. My son takes care of me and my disabled
daughter the rest of the time but I really appreciate my care visits. It's a chance to have a chat and sometimes a laugh with a different person. All of the carers that have been here are very polite, respectful and have a good sense of humour. I can honestly say that some of the carers have become good friends. I am more than satisfied with the service and would have no hesitation in recommending One Day at a Time to anyone.

I have had One Day At A Time Home Care Ltd carers twice a day for six weeks and would thank each and every one of them for their efficient and friendly care. I look forward to their visit and don't mind which lady arrives as they are all very cheerful and always ready to help with any little problem.
Above all, I have appreciated they have allowed me to keep my dignity at all times. Thank you for all your help.

Becauee of extreme arthritis I was unable to do somethings, with the help of my carer I can do. Like fully get in the bath, get my washing weekly outside in the sun and fresh air, have my sheets, duvet changed regularly.

Very satisfied with all aspects of care, only criticism is delay in knowing how much I have to pay, not having a breakdown of the invoice and not knowing whether its the councils fault or the firms fault. Still haven't had an invoice from March onwards.
