I came across this company via the Internet whilst looking to select a care provider - despite being very familiar with almost all the care providers in York and surrounding areas. I have found them to be accessible, efficient, kind and compassionate and make client welfare, health and safety their central tenet. Their advertising material is accurate. My elderly friend who uses their services had a long history of working in primary care and she has said very clearly that the carers are all extremely nice, work hard and understand her needs. This is what I have observed too. The company's managers and admin staff are incredibly helpful and very open to communicating with friends and relatives of their clients. Their paperwork of client intervention which gets sent to the client is immensely helpful, as is their bar code signing in process. I feel totally reassured knowing they are looking after my 90 year old friend.
Thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful review. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your positive experience. Your feedback means a great deal to us, and we will be delighted to pass along your encouraging words to the entire team.
They provide 24 hr live in care for my mother. Having employed carers directly for 3 years it is such a relief to have found support solutions in York. The carers are wonderful and the support from the office is also excellent with continuous reviews of the care and support they provide. I highly recommend them.
We truly appreciate your wonderful review! We'll be sure to share your kind words with the rest of our team.
Generally good, some carers are more bothered about doing the bare minimum and finishing as soon as they can. One carer refuses to place the commode under my bed. Some carers are warm and friendly.
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you've experienced some staff members appearing rushed - we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. As we've discussed, we're committed to working closely with you to ensure this doesn't happen moving forward. On a positive note,...
drinks are too strong or too weak, please put half water and half juice. Really lovely staff made me feel less alone, I felt more connected to the outside world. Really good company to be around. Sometimes they forget to tell me a change in schedule and can feel a bit scary, if a total stranger came in and doesn't knock on door. Can feel a bit scared, if carers are running late, don't know when to expect anyone.
Thank you for this review, we are pleased to hear that the staff are lovely and make you feel more connected to the outside world! As discussed we have taken action on the criticism you have raised to make sure that these issues do not happen anymore.
Satisfied!
Thank you for this amazing review, we will make sure to pass your comments onto the rest of our team!
My dad has very much valued the support given to him to shower.
Both he and my mum have also enjoyed the communication with the carers.
Thank you! Great service.
Thank you for this lovely review, we will make sure to feedback your comments to our staff!
Care Solutions (York) have been taking on new recruits and I must say that all the newcomers fit in beautifully with the team. They are exceptionally polite and punctual to put it simply the care they offer is bespoke and a credit to their country or origin!
Thank you for this amazing review, we are happy to hear you are loving our new employee's.
All my calls are in respect of personal hygiene. I have 4 early morning calls to help with washing and dressing and one weekly call to give me a bath. I am disabled following a stroke. I have 2 regular carers, both of them are reliable, punctual, caring and respectful. I am very happy with the service provided.
Thank you so much for this review. We will make sure to feed these lovely comments back to our staff!

Found everyone to be helpful and obliging showing a great level of care. After leaving hospital my confidence was low but was restored by alot of praise and kindness.
Thank you for kind words, the team will are always thrilled with positive feedback. Please do not hesitate to contact the office should you ever have any concerns or wishes.
My wife has been using support solutions for a few months now and the carers are very good.
Thank you for discussing the review with us, it was important for us to know why the score (stars) were so low. Explaining has assisted us to know that the stars awarded are due to issues with your current call times. As discussed we will aim to arrive to your wife's bed time call earlier but this can not be guaranteed due to other clients who already have this time slot.
I am happy with the care that I am receiving.
Thank you so much for the review. We will make sure to feed these lovely comments back to our staff!
There are times when rotas are altered which we understand, as illness among staff cannot be predicted, but but would be appreciated of we could be informed about timing differences, especially as some medications cannot be administered until after a shower.
Thank you for your kind words regarding our team. We are pleased to hear that they consistently provide excellent care for your husband. I understand your concerns about the rota changes, and as discussed, we will make every effort to notify you of any adjustments to your husband's scheduled visits whenever possible.
The support is very good without which I would sometimes struggle to go outdoors due to my mental health condition.

I have only had this care package for one week but find the people who have been to assist my husband in showering and dressing are very helpful and caring and originally had this service for 2 days but was impressed and changed it to 5 days.
Thank you so much for this review. We will make sure to feed these lovely comments back to our staff!

The only problem sometimes is the visit schedule they send me it is not always right, the other day and once before it was for 9:05 AM but on the carer's phone her schedule was for 8:05 AM. When she came I didn't hear her as I was in bed and she got a bit worried.
Thank you for your review, we are happy to hear that the overall care you have received is positive. We understand the issues with the scheduling and are working to resolve this now - we do apologise for any troubles you may have had. If you have any more concerns, feel free to reach out to us on the number 01904 236 376 or email us at info@supportsolutions.care.
Acceptable standard, would welcome general 'chat'. Please emphasise the need to speak clearly, more so when wearing a mask and check on hearing aid users in particular - hence request as we are partially dependent on 'seeing' folk talking. I realise timetable problems!
Thank you for your review, we are happy to hear that the overall care you have received is positive. We understand the issues with the scheduling and are working to resolve this now - we do apologise for any troubles you may have had. I have passed on your concerns about the staff speaking not...
Three different carers attended me while I was in the care of Support Solutions. Each carer arrived on time. They showered me, made sure I had clean clothes and took me down for breakfast. Each carer treated me with respect and dignity especially when applying creams to various parts of me. I can only describe them as wonderful carers. I am grateful for all they did for me.
Thank you so much for the review. We will make sure to feed these lovely comments back to our staff!
