I have been receiving help with cleaning from Abney & Baker since June 2021 and am very happy with their service. Almost without exception, the person who is sent to do the work is pleasant and polite and does a really good job. The office is easy to contact and the attitude of the company is one of

Abney & Baker Home Care provide an excellent service. I have been extremely impressed by the management and the staff team who are extremely caring, pleasant, friendly, professional and really get to know the person they are supporting, showing real understanding and empathy about how they would like
to be supported being responsive to their needs. The staff team are genuinely interested in the person they are supporting and includes all the family members.
The staff members and management team offer an outstanding service, they use their initiative, they are organised and make sure the person is safe and supported in the right way. The service is very reliable and goes out of its way to help. The staff team know the person's personal preferences and have the knowledge and skills to be able to support them.
It is very rare to meet such a dedicated, flexible, caring support agency. The service is well-led, and organised. Well done, Abney & Baker Home Care.

I really can’t put into words how grateful I am to everyone at Abney & Baker. The service and care provided to my mum when she was discharged from hospital was excellent. It was reassuring to be able to trust the staff to care for mum safely in her own home and I’m sure her quick recovery can largely
be attributed to the gentle, friendly, professional care she received from every member of staff. I searched for a number of solutions to help support my mum, Abney & Baker stands out against all the other care providers. It’s refreshing to find a company that genuinely cares and works with the client to make their life better. From helping my mum with personal care to emptying her bin, washing up, and making her day with a good chat, the service provided cannot be faulted. She was always treated with kindness and respect. The support provided by Abney & Baker made a big difference to our lives, during a very difficult period. We highly recommend this fantastic company.

Your friendly and caring staff have been a significant part of my recovery. They were reliable and always kept a good time; knowing they were coming was very reassuring both for me and my family. Fantastic company that made the whole process of finding care effortless. All the carers are amazing and work hard in making my mother's life as comfortable as possible. They will do pretty much anything and knowing that they are there each day is a great comfort.

We were very nervous about instructing Abney & Baker as our mum who suffers from Alzheimer's has not reacted well to other carers in the past, but we soon realised that mum was in safe hands. In fact, Abney & Baker had been recommended to us by a friend. All of the girls who visited mum were lovely;
patient, kind, courteous, understanding. All of the admin staff we dealt with were professional, understanding and extremely responsive. We had no concerns or issues whatsoever and I would not hesitate to recommend Abney & Baker.

Post-hospital care needed to be set up very quickly with a number of unknown and uncertain timings. Abney & Baker were able to provide carer to cover the need. It would have been better if there had been consistency of carer and a greater choice of timing of visits but excellent given the short notice.

The agency has gone out of their way to be helpful and user-friendly. All the carers have been efficient, calm and capable. My mother is happy with all of them! I would thoroughly recommend this care agency.
