We were very lucky to have found Bluebird Care when mum needed help.
I recommend them to anyone who is looking for care.
Thanks so much for taking the time to write this review. It was an honour and a privilege to support your lovely mum and she was a delight to all that met her. We are grateful that the whole family engaged with our team to ensure your mum was at the centre of everything we did.
Bluebird Care Rochdale provided excellent care to my mother, they provided hands-on care and domestic care even ensuring the needs of the family dog were also met. It is hard to find a care provider that provides hands-on care as well as domestic support. The staff had a friendly manner and was always chatty towards my mother
Thanks so much for taking the time to review us. It was an honour and a privilege to support your lovely mum.
The carers have been very patient and understanding over the last 4-5 weeks in what, for the family, has not been an easy introduction to dealing with a Mum who has had a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. On occasions, she has been quite rude and agitated towards the carers, but they have remained very professional. Thank you for all your help.
Your mum is an absolute delight, who the team have become very fond of in a short space of time. It is an honour and a privilege to do what we do. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave such kind words.
The staff at Bluebird Care have provided my daughter with support for a few years now. They have continued to provide her with support workers who improve her overall quality of life. They are very patient with her and assist her in attending college during term time, which has improved her quality of life and she has gained friends outside college. All of the support workers are very friendly, supportive and reliable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird Care as the assistance which is provided is excellent.
Thanks so much for taking the time to review the support we give to your fabulous daughter. The whole team have become very fond of her as she really is an angel. It is an honour and a privilege to do what we do.
The carers have been very helpful in the mornings with my mother's needs, giving her a shower helping with dressing her and putting the cream on her legs that she requires. They also help get her breakfast ready and keeping the house tidy. They have stayed with her when she needed medical help and on another occasion, an emergency plumber to her leaking toilet. As well as taking her for medical appointments. All are very professional and caring in what they do.
Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to our request for a review. Your mum is a superstar, and our coordinator, in particular, has grown very fond of her and has carried out the visit on a number of occasions, including the plumbing incident you mentioned. Your mum has been informed...
My comments are as per my previous ones made earlier this year the carers are professional, friendly and I would add that they always treat my mother with respect. In addition, they are for the most part punctual.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review of our services. As we have tried to explain, we agree a 15-minute window for arrival time to allow for situations beyond our control such as traffic and unavoidable delays. Our team are responsive to your mum's needs and we maintain contact...
From the staff to management, each interaction feels personal and in the constant best interest of my mother, and I truly appreciate the human element consideration.
I would recommend Bluebird to anyone who needs caring for, as this is a company really cares for its clients!
Thanks so much for your kind words. It is an honour and a privilege to support your mum, who the team think the world of. Thank you for taking the time to create this review. It means so much to know we are doing the right thing.
They were extremely accommodating in ensuring we got the times we wanted. They are very reliable and always on time.
All the girls are lovely and professional and treat my mum with respect and dignity.
My experience has been nothing but positive so far, and would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. We have some amazing people, who are on our team, and we are grateful to be able to work with family and friends to ensure the best possible outcome for the person at the centre of it all. It is an honour and a privilege to do what we do.
Bluebird Care has been providing very high-quality care to my elderly friend for two years now. Their carers are unfailingly reliable, efficient and extremely kind, treating him with courtesy and respect. Nothing is too much trouble. The managers take pains to make sure they also know him well and understand his needs. They respond promptly to any queries or concerns and I have a very good relationship with all the team, much appreciated. I have been really impressed at how they have maintained their service without interruption through all the difficulties of the pandemic. I am very happy to recommend Bluebird.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is an honour and a privilege to do what we do, but we are also very appreciative of the incredible support that you give - thanks for your efforts too.
The manager has been amazing from the day I first contacted her..its been such an easy process from the start and in 3 days the care company have made more progress than the last company did in 5 months and the effort is 1000 percent more than the previous company..many thanks
We are so grateful for your kind words. It means the world to us after the last couple of years especially. It remains an honour and a privilege to do what we do.
The carers are lovely, they take the time to find out what my mum really needs and help her to achieve her goals whilst promoting independence. I would highly recommend Bluebird Care. Excellent team, excellent value.
Thanks for your review and very kind words. It is an honour and a pleasure to do what we do and your mum is a delight.
Bluebird Care has proved excellent support for my grandma, who now requires some external help with her daily life. They offer a very flexible, reliable and friendly service, which has proved invaluable to our family. I can highly recommend them to anyone, who may require help with a loved one's individual needs.
Thanks ever so much for taking the time to review our service. We are so pleased that you are happy with the support your grandma is receiving, and the team think she is a lovely lady too.
I have been and am very happy with the quality of service I receive from Bluebird Care. Every carer I have encountered, have all been very respectful and friendly; they have taken great interest in my complicated medical situation, which makes me feel at ease. The management has been very curious and professional in dealing with any issues I have had, plus on my birthday, the management arranged for an ice-cream van to visit me on my way home. Thank you all at Bluebird Care.
Thank you for taking the time to create this review. We must listen to our customers to ensure we are always delivering the highest quality of care that we can. We are glad that you enjoyed your ice cream and must thank the vendor for making that possible too.
My mother has been at Bluebird Care Rochdale for a few months and we have already seen an upturn in her well-being and mental health. She enjoys the company and is full of compliments for the staff. She now uses forward-looking language such as "I can't wait for the spring" and this tells us volumes about the care she is now receiving. I am writing this review to thank all the staff at Bluebird Care Rochdale. Thank you so much. Keep up the terrific work. You are hugely appreciated.
Thanks for your kind words. We are glad you are happy with the support your mum receives, but if there are ever any things you are unsure of please do get in touch. It is an honour and privilege to do what we do.
During the current hardships we are all enduring, how refreshing it was to see how the professionalism of this company had on my friends attitude to life.
There was not one thing to compliment them all, but it’s everything and the friendly way they went about their business. The best compliment I can say is that my friend felt every day that all the Bluebird staff came across that they wanted to make a difference every day, and you can’t put a price on that. Thank you all.
Thanks very much for your kind words. It is an honour and privilege to do what we do. We embrace all feedback to ensure we listen to customers and their families to move towards the very best outcomes.
Mum has received excellent care and enjoys her morning visits, she has a very good relationship with her carer who responds to any needs Mum may require. Overall very happy with the service and staff Bluebird provides. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. It is an honour and privilege to do what we do and your mum is a delight to support. We are strong advocates of using technology to ensure all parties can see what is being delivered so we are completely transparent and are pleased you see that...
Bluebird Care provides a great service and the people who work for them are a credit to the company. They arrive on time, are kind and considerate and willing to go the extra mile to keep my parents happy. Bluebird has been nothing but professional in all their dealings with my parents and myself. Highly recommended.
Thanks so very much for taking the time to review the service we provide. We must always listen to our team, our customers and their families to ensure we strive to improve all the time.
The care and support that Bluebird Care has provided my 91-year-old father-in-law have been above and beyond the call of duty. On 20/1/21 Bluebird called to prepare my father in-law's evening meal. Unfortunately, my father-in-law had decided to place a prepared meal in the oven and forgot about it. Our Bluebird arrived to find the kitchen filled with smoke and the oven at the point of setting on fire, my father-in-law was in the living room oblivious. The way the carer reacted to this dangerous situation was, calm, cool and considerate, she thought first of the client and not herself, we will never be able to express our thanks and gratitude to her, she saved my father-in-law's life. The Bluebird care team indoor and outdoor are easy to communicate with, kind and understanding, they become part of the family in an unobtrusive way, they are just fabulous. Thank you.
Thanks so very much for taking the time to leave this review. We are grateful that we had a team member visiting when they did and their calm manner in dealing with a precarious situation has been lauded by us all. We have such an amazing team to ensure we deliver the very best level of care that...
Any concerns or queries we ever have are answered quickly and efficiently and any changes to her care plan are implemented speedily.
It’s good also to see the company constantly looking for improvements and the family app is a great tool for family members to review visits, especially when we do not live on the doorstep of our parents.
Keep up the good work!

She is very impressed with the standard of support, she says nothing is too much trouble for the girls who call to help.
Thanks very much for your kind words. It is an honour and privilege to be in the position we are. We will ensure the review is passed onto the team who support your mum. If there is ever anything we can do to assist more then please do get in touch so we can respond accordingly.

Beryl has vast experience working within a vulnerable personal environment. She has been working within the Care Sector in the UK since the family returned from overseas in early 2013. Before that, in addition to raising her family, she was primarily employed in children's Education, often within the Special Educational Needs (SEN) specialisation whilst frequently moving as was an expected part of Forces family life (13 different homes in 23 years). Beryl has 2 grown sons, although she still likes nothing more than to mother them whenever they visit. Beryl was born in Birch Hill Hospital, Rochdale and grew up in the area and loves being back home, closer to her family and a large network of long-standing and loyal friends. Beryl loves to support people who need it and looks to provide a Premium Service built on excellent training and the enthusiasm and compassion of Quality Staff. She likes to travel, when allowed and watches TV soaps, but only the Northern ones.
John’s journey began in 1990 when he left his parents' home to join the British Army, where he served with distinction for nearly 26 years. He returned to the area in 2015, bringing with him a wealth of experience and skills that he has applied as an accomplished Management Consultant. His background in the armed forces, particularly in leadership and training, has equipped him with a passion for supporting and developing others, especially those who are vulnerable and socially isolated.
John is particularly committed to training, using his enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully to the success of the business. He is genuinely inspired by the compassion and dedication demonstrated by those who work in care, and he channels this admiration into delivering engaging, realistic, and effective training sessions. His goal is to empower carers with the skills and confidence needed to excel in their vital roles.
Having served in numerous places across the globe, John is thrilled to be back home, reconnecting with old schoolmates and reliving fond memories from his youth. He has been deeply touched by the warmth and friendliness of the community since his return and is a proud participant at the local Veterans' breakfast, where he enjoys the camaraderie and support of fellow ex-servicemen.
Though he describes himself as a keen yet mostly retired footballer, John can still be found playing five-a-side matches a few times a week, keeping his passion for the sport alive. In addition to his sporting pursuits, he is a Dementia Friends Champion, dedicated to raising awareness of this increasingly prevalent condition. Through his community involvement and advocacy, John continues to make a difference, both on and off the pitch, and remains committed to supporting those who choose such a meaningful career path in care.
Dawn joined our team as a Care Assistant in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of hands-on experience in care, becoming a senior care assistant quite quickly due to her can-do attitude and eye for providing a solution to the many challenges the role can present. Her impressive background is not purely limited to frontline care; she has also spent extensive time in office roles, where she managed payroll, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation with skill and precision.
This blend of practical care knowledge and administrative expertise has made her an incredibly valuable member of our team, seamlessly contributing both in the field and behind the scenes. We are fortunate to have someone so versatile and dedicated to making a difference!
Georgia has been a dedicated member of Bluebird Care Rochdale since 2019. She began her journey as a Care Assistant, a role she absolutely loved, and her warmth and commitment quickly made her a valued part of the team. Over the years, she has had a significant impact on both colleagues and customers, who have always appreciated her kind and compassionate nature.
During her time with Bluebird Care, Georgia went on maternity leave twice. Throughout these periods, the unwavering support of the company never faltered. She fondly recalls the thoughtful baby baskets she received, the fruit basket delivered to her at the start of the pandemic, and the gift voucher for a local restaurant, all of which made her feel genuinely cared for and appreciated. It is this level of kindness and support that makes Bluebird Care Rochdale feel more like a family than just a workplace.
Georgia is full of praise for John, Beryl, and Michelle, recognising their passion for the well-being of both customers and staff. She also highlights the kindness and dedication of her fellow team members, noting that customers often comment on how the carers go above and beyond. The sense of camaraderie and shared purpose within the team is something Georgia is incredibly proud to be a part of.
