Bluebird Care has constantly provided top-level care to my mother for the past 8 months. The compassion and service shown by the carers are beyond what we pay for; this has helped my mother get her self-confidence back.
From the staff to management, each interaction feels personal and in the constant
best interest of my mother, and I truly appreciate the human element consideration.
I would recommend Bluebird to anyone who needs caring for, as this is a company really cares for its clients!

Very professional organisation and everyone I have dealt with has been really friendly and helpful.
They were extremely accommodating in ensuring we got the times we wanted. They are very reliable and always on time.
All the girls are lovely and professional and treat my mum with respect and dignity.

My friend is a new customer of Bluebird Care as he wasn’t happy with previous companies we’ve used.
So far all staff have been very friendly and professional and more importantly have my friends needs, etc as the priority. I’ve recently logged in to the online page so I can see which carer is coming
and at what time.
I would highly recommend Bluebird to anyone looking for professional, friendly and reliable service.

Bluebird Care has been providing very high-quality care to my elderly friend for two years now. Their carers are unfailingly reliable, efficient and extremely kind, treating him with courtesy and respect. Nothing is too much trouble. The managers take pains to make sure they also know him well
and understand his needs. They respond promptly to any queries or concerns and I have a very good relationship with all the team, much appreciated. I have been really impressed at how they have maintained their service without interruption through all the difficulties of the pandemic. I am very happy to recommend Bluebird.

I have been and am very happy with the quality of service I receive from Bluebird Care. Every carer I have encountered, have all been very respectful and friendly; they have taken great interest in my complicated medical situation, which makes me feel at ease. The management has been very curious and
professional in dealing with any issues I have had, plus on my birthday, the management arranged for an ice-cream van to visit me on my way home. Thank you all at Bluebird Care.

My mother has been at Bluebird Care Rochdale for a few months and we have already seen an upturn in her well-being and mental health. She enjoys the company and is full of compliments for the staff. She now uses forward-looking language such as "I can't wait for the spring" and this tells us volumes

I don’t often write reviews, but I wanted to put something about the impact Bluebird had on my close friend.
During the current hardships we are all enduring, how refreshing it was to see how the professionalism of this company had on my friends attitude to life.
There was not one thing to compliment
them all, but it’s everything and the friendly way they went about their business. The best compliment I can say is that my friend felt every day that all the Bluebird staff came across that they wanted to make a difference every day, and you can’t put a price on that. Thank you all.

The care and support that Bluebird Care has provided my 91-year-old father-in-law have been above and beyond the call of duty. On 20/1/21 Bluebird called to prepare my father in-law's evening meal. Unfortunately, my father-in-law had decided to place a prepared meal in the oven and forgot about it.
Our Bluebird arrived to find the kitchen filled with smoke and the oven at the point of setting on fire, my father-in-law was in the living room oblivious. The way the carer reacted to this dangerous situation was, calm, cool and considerate, she thought first of the client and not herself, we will never be able to express our thanks and gratitude to her, she saved my father-in-law's life. The Bluebird care team indoor and outdoor are easy to communicate with, kind and understanding, they become part of the family in an unobtrusive way, they are just fabulous. Thank you.

Bluebird Care Rochdale have been supporting my mum to live a semi-independent life for over two years and offer an excellent service. They are thorough and professional in their approach and Mum really enjoys her visits, especially from her regular carer, whom she has a soft spot for.
Any concerns
or queries we ever have are answered quickly and efficiently and any changes to her care plan are implemented speedily.
It’s good also to see the company constantly looking for improvements and the family app is a great tool for family members to review visits, especially when we do not live on the doorstep of our parents.

My wife has been a client for a period of five months since September 2019. We are very pleased with the quality of service provided by the Bluebird team. They care for my wife with dignity and respect and are very thoughtful, kind and personable. Bluebird attends on my wife twice a day, and the carers
are always punctual with the occasional exception. We took a slight gamble choosing Bluebird; because at the time, they were a relatively new organisation/start-up in our locality. However, they have proved worthy of having been given the opportunity.

Beryl

Beryl Keogh

Job Title: Director Joined: 2018

Beryl has vast experience working within a vulnerable personal environment. She has been working within the Care Sector in the UK since the family returned from overseas in early 2013. Before that, in addition to raising her family, she was primarily employed in children's Education, often within the Special Educational Needs (SEN) specialisation whilst frequently moving as was an expected part of Forces family life (13 different homes in 23 years). Beryl has 2 grown sons, although she still likes nothing more than to mother them whenever they visit. Beryl was born in Birch Hill Hospital, Rochdale and grew up in the area and loves being back home, closer to her family and a large network of long-standing and loyal friends. Beryl loves to support people who need it and looks to provide a Premium Service built on excellent training and the enthusiasm and compassion of Quality Staff. She likes to travel, when allowed and watches TV soaps, but only the Northern ones.

John’s journey began in 1990 when he left his parents' home to join the British Army, where he served with distinction for nearly 26 years. Following his military career, he returned to the area in 2015, bringing with him a wealth of experience and skills that he has applied as an accomplished Management Consultant. His background in the armed forces, particularly in leadership and training, has equipped him with a passion for supporting and developing others, especially those who are vulnerable and socially isolated.


John is particularly committed to training, using his enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully to the success of the business. He is genuinely inspired by the compassion and dedication demonstrated by those who work in care, and he channels this admiration into delivering engaging, realistic, and effective training sessions. His goal is to empower carers with the skills and confidence needed to excel in their vital roles.


Having served in numerous theatres across the globe, John is thrilled to be back in his hometown, reconnecting with old schoolmates and reliving fond memories from his youth. He has been deeply touched by the warmth and friendliness of the community since his return and is a proud participant at the local Veterans' breakfast, where he enjoys the camaraderie and support of fellow ex-servicemen.


Though he describes himself as a keen yet mostly retired footballer, John can still be found playing five-a-side matches a few times a week, keeping his passion for the sport alive. In addition to his sporting pursuits, he is a Dementia Friends Champion, dedicated to raising awareness of this increasingly prevalent condition. Through his community involvement and advocacy, John continues to make a difference, both on and off the pitch, and remains committed to supporting those who choose such a meaningful career path in care.
