Exceptionally helpful and going beyond routine care. As the family lived over an hour away they would step in to cover emergencies regardless of time of day when possible. Supported mum who was being increasingly affected by dementia with kindness and understanding.

Very professional and nice to my mum. Cared for her nicely and easy to get hold of when needed. Would recommend to other people in the same situation as my mum was in. Hope this review will help with other clients.

I live alone and had a full hip replacement surgery on 5th May 2023. I realised that I needed help, above and beyond what friends had offered. I remembered E&K as they had helped an elderly friend and neighbour of mine for two years. I was very impressed with the care and attention they gave her, so I rang E&K. The manager arrived at my flat two hours after I had arrived home from my stay at hospital and she put together a plan. Initially, it was four times a day to help me wash and dress and have breakfast, midday, tea time and help me to bed. As I improved, we cut back the hours. The manager and her team showed me compassion, kindness, respect, and helped me grow my confidence. I only needed E&K's assistance for two weeks, so please don't think of the team for only long-term care. I highly recommend E&K. The manager and the team, many thanks again for all of your help.

Words are not enough to describe how incredible E&K Care are. After experiencing a number of care companies, E&K are in a completely different category. The staff build genuine connections with not just the service user, but the family. They genuinely got to know my relative and made his life brighter and gave him laughter, dignity and compassion. Going above and beyond is genuinely an understatement and I'm truly thankful. We had confidence and trust he was in safe and caring hands. Without E&K things would have been completely different, they made such a positive difference. Thank you for walking the journey with us and helping in the ways you did. Thank you for enabling him to stay safely in his home and for giving him the happiness you did. You can be confident E&K will do all they can to care for your loved one. All staff were fantastic but especially the manager, director and secretary.

I would recommend E&K care to anyone! The worry of leaving my grandad in the care of strangers soon became a thing of the past the second I had a phone call from one of the owners of this small family-run business. She really did mean it when she said they treat people like family/friends, my grandad took a liking to them in an instant. No matter what time of day or how many times I could contact them to discuss grandad. You girls kept a smile on his face and made my life a lot easier. I couldn't thank you enough!

Great service from E&K, really helped out with increased care at short notice and support when Mum was unsafely discharged from hospital. I have not been present usually when actual care is taking place so cannot firmly comment on each individual carer so have marked all 3/4. Support from E&K has been great though.

E&K were given to us by the council when my mum was discharged home after a stroke in 2019. Were they perfect, no, did we have issues, yes, but this wasn’t their fault and resolved with the management team. I realise that now, we had expectations above what they could deliver, it wasn’t their mum, but they cared for her in ways we never could till the day she passed away. We had a brief time with a managed service agency provided by the council, I won’t go into detail, but we literally begged E&K to take Mum back, which they did, little did we know that would be the last week of her life. We arranged for Mum to come home to die with her family all around, not only did they support and care for Mum, they supported us, we were scared, not going to lie! Without their support, our family could be in a different position today!

Very friendly, extremely helpful, very clean and very reliable. My brother was extremely satisfied with the care and support he continuously received from all attending members of the team. They were quick to point out any deterioration in his condition immediately.

Outstanding care to my partner as well as compassion, empathy, and dignity to us both. Knowledgeable of his every need at the right time and dealt with professionally. Went over and above their duty of care to both patient and partner. Perfectly handled in every way at this sensitive time in my partner's and my lives, right up to the end, my guardian angels helped him and saved me, can't thank them enough. Just brilliant.

My Mum had the best care imaginable. The carers were always so very caring and friendly. She was treated with respect and dignity. She was looked after as if it were one of their own family members. I was kept up to date with everything either by looking in the daily record book or receiving text messages to inform me about anything. They are an outstanding Care Company who I would highly recommend.

The care dad received was first class, they made dad feel good about having carers. The staff are very friendly but professional, nothing was too much trouble. They treated my dad with respect and compassion, he really looked forward to his chats with the staff. They took time to get to know all of the family, not just dad which was lovely. They made you feel very comfortable and able to ask them anything, it was like having a friend looking after dad which made a huge difference. Can’t thank the staff enough.

E&K carers looked after my Dad for a short time before he sadly died. The staff had such a wonderful approach to their role. They talked to my Dad explaining what they were doing, even though he struggled to respond. They were highly efficient and kept accurate records to ensure that there was a clear handover from one member of staff to another. They were full of empathy and kindness to the whole family and we have them to thank for making sure we received an ambulance quickly at a very busy and critical time. After my Dad was admitted to hospital they thoughtfully kept in touch, ringing us to see how he was getting on.

E&K didn’t just come and do a job they came aboard like they were family, listened to client and family on every level possible, and met every single need. We don’t trust easily but E&K are a breath of fresh air in this industry. Our number one was looked after like a king. Recommend you 100%! We’re so glad it was you on grandad's final journey. So thank you all for your dedication and support.

E&K were incredibly supportive at a very bad time for both of my parents. Their staff went above and beyond what you would normally expect from professional care providers. Even before we reached the crisis points with my parents I was impressed with the standard of care provided by this company.

The team looked after my mum in her last years. They became part of the family and it felt like that to her. They would do above their remit. Housework, cook her a meal. On occasions, they would have special days, where they would decorate her room and bring over cake.

They're the best. I live in US and was so worried all the time until we found E & K. They're caring, professional and the reliability is above and beyond any I have ever seen. Even when I was there for 6 weeks. Dad loved them all. I loved them all. I would definitely call them for any other family member and recommend them highly as caregivers.

I contacted the agency back in March 2021 as my father had deteriorated quickly and we needed support. They had been recommended to us and from the start, I just knew they were the right organisation to help us. The service they provided up until November of this year when my father sadly died was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to support us as a family and every member of the team knew my father and genuinely cared about him. They supported us right up until the day he died and for the last few weeks if it hadn’t been for them we would not have coped as other statutory organisations failed to give us the help we needed and the manager and staff helped us fight for what we needed to make his last few days peaceful. They even provided overnight care for the last two nights as they knew how tired we were and we trusted them to be with him as we knew how much they thought of him. Words will never express how much their support meant to us as a family.

Thank you all for making my mum and our nan's life enriched to the end, keeping that wonderful smile on her face and love in her heart - as my mum would always say 'God bless'. RIP Mum, so dearly missed.
