Holistic Care Services

Holistic care has been brilliant and I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs that extra support. We went with holistic as a temporary thing, on short notice and were very pleased with how things were handled.

Very professional and reliable service from day one. We first had an introduction meeting where all my son's needs were discussed very thoroughly. The support given to my son was reliable and consistent with the same 2 members of staff throughout our time with holistic care. The two carers were great guys who totally respected our home and gave fantastic support to my son. I would highly recommend Holistic Care and will definitely use it again for my son's care in the future.

We engaged Holistic Care (which at the time was Radfield Home Care) to come to my parent's home twice a day to help with my Dad's morning and evening routines. His mobility and cognitive function were poor but the excellent staff at Holistic Care were very patient and skilled in their interactions with him and enabled him to remain living at home with Mum for a further 12 twelve months before requiring residential care. The team members built a great relationship with my Dad and Holistic Care's management team were professional, and caring and showed very good attention to detail. They were great at keeping my Mum informed if changes to the service were expected for whatever reason.

The staff are very helpful, providing a solid and well thought out service. Mum responds well to the colleagues and engages in good conversation with them. We ask for a lunch visit, an evening visit and a 'close down' so mum is locked up safely in her home. These visits are well carried out and on time. We have cameras in the house but we use the cameras only to check on Mum overnight and when there are no other visitors. The majority of communication is between my sister and Holistic Care because she lives close to the house. Her review will reflect my comfort with the high level of quality provided.

We contacted Holistic Care Services with only a couple of weeks to go before we needed the service after our initial care plans fell through, we had an informal chat in the home about our needs and expectations, then the plan was put into place and we had meetings with the carers and care co-ordinators in advance, all went well and we were extremely happy with the service, our mum felt safe and content in her own home with the carers who lived in for 2 weeks. It was a little bit more expensive than we budgeted for.

As a family, we know we can rely on the service to care for my mother.

Overall, I am very happy with the service I get.

The care provider looked after my mum/nan for 2 years and went above and beyond for her needs and requirements. Nothing was ever too much, my mum had dementia (people with dementia and those caring for people with dementia will know how hard day-to-day caring can sometimes be) the staff were always so kind, caring, friendly and reassuring. We liaised with the staff all the time to ensure that my mum was getting the most suitable care package. We would like to thank the girls for all that they did for us. We lost my mum in December and this care provider was there for us every step of the way until the very end, as a family we would recommend them to anyone looking for extra care for their loved ones.

When I mentioned to my aunt that I thought the staff were lovely she replied ”yes they all are, I’m very lucky, they look after me”. What more of a recommendation that the Home Care team are compassionate, communicative, seek consent to assist with personal care, person centred, reliable and flexible. My gratitude to you all.

Can't recommend them enough. Had some issues with other care agencies before using the care provider and we are so glad we have found them. They go above and beyond every time they visit my grandad and nothing is too much to ask of them. The care that they provide is of a great standard, they are always on time and they are very easy to contact if you need them.

Extremely efficient and friendly service which has put the family's mind at rest that our aunt is being cared for twice a day, by staff who have taken the time to get to know her. Communication has been excellent, any concerns or worries about medication or aspects of her care have been dealt with promptly. My aunt looks forward to seeing her carers each day. They are always on time and if delayed, even by ten minutes, the office staff let us know. We would highly recommend the care provider.

Top class service and I can only 100% recommend.

We started using these services after my husband came out of hospital. Firstly, we us a care agency via social services which did not meet our needs, on changing to this care provider, we were offered a much better package and a time convenient for my husband's care and far superior service with more professional carers. We stopped their care when my husband was in hospital for 7 weeks but resumed their service on his discharge in August and have continued to have carers since. We particularly like that 5 days a week we have the same person and the same carer on the other 2 days, this gives us continuity. We are delighted with the standard of the service.

An excellent service carried out by true professionals. As a client, I have always been treated with dignity and have never felt embarrassed. My wishes as to my personal care are always considered. I am encouraged, with supervision, to be more independent and to play a more active part in my care. Members of staff are always smart and well-presented. They are pleasant, courteous and encourage conversation. Staff encourage me to carry out my personal exercise programme, designed for me by Liverpool community physiotherapy service. Always on time, if there is a delay office staff inform me.

Mum never wanted or thought she needed care support, and her comments about the carers "only giving me my tablets" are, I believe, only a reflection of her cognitive impairment and her inability to see or assess her own needs. The care visits have provided structure and prompting and allowed Mum to prove her own abilities to herself. Although she may not always recognise the extra value provided for her in terms of time spent chatting and having someone else on hand to deal with little problems which arise, Mum has become more settled and occasionally gratefully accepting of what is being done for her.

My father has dementia and was in hospital before Christmas. The care provider were the only company who had capacity to offer care visits at his home and have looked after him since then.

The care received has been nothing short of outstanding generally from keeping his living areas tidy to his personal care and assisting him to eat drink encouraging and being patient with him.

My father is prone to infections and prior to this care provider was hospitalised over and over with UTIs whilst in the care of other companies.

Since this care provider have taken over he hasn’t had one infection or hospital admission which is testament to the consistent high quality care received.

Most carers my father has had from other companies go after 15 mins and have not provided the care to meet my fathers needs but this care provider always stay the full hours consistently every day.
