They support both me and my husband and cheer us up after the many hospital admissions. If they didn't visit us every day, we would be very vulnerable. They make a cracking cup of tea too!

I am truly grateful for the support these young people give us. Me and Ma (my wife) would be scuppered. I love the meals they make us - true home-cooked meals. We can laugh together, even when they visit in fancy dress! Our wonderful carers make so much effort to make our lives that much easier. I don't
know what we'd do without them.

We started with Taunton homecare in September this year and we were very apprehensive as mum didn't really want carers but as I'm classed as disabled it was becoming too much for me to shower mum, so we met Nikki what a wonderful woman she is and all the carers we have are an absolute god send, they're
all wonderful, polite, happy considerate and just beautiful human beings, we love them all xx

Overall Taunton Homecare provides a good service . My needs are very well met. The carers do a good job, fairly consistently but occasionally forget some of the jobs I need doing and do need reminding. Sadly I find it frustrating that changes to timings are not always communicated .

2 years ago mum started having Taunton Homecare .. The pink ladies , I really don't know what we would do with out them ,they are always there for mum , helping her each step of the way with kindness and consideration of her needs , from the carers to the office staff , nothing is to much trouble ,

Taunton Homecare has helped us to take care of mum on a respite basis for almost a year. I live with her for most of the time but every couple of months, I return to my own home for 3 weeks or so. During this time the team visit her daily for an hour or so to check that she is okay and support her as
needed.
Mum is very happy with the support she is given and the kindness of all the carers who come in.
When I unexpectedly had to stay away for a slightly longer time than expected, the team managers were very supportive and extended their time for us.
We are happy with all aspects of your service. Thank you.

We have not been as satisfied with your service for the last 5 months due to the transfer from the client folder updates on mums condition and the care received on a daily basis. To the new app/online updates of which we have never been able to access. Therefore leaving us unaware in knowing how mum
is.
Also over this period we have had to chase for a Rota covering the following week.
We would however like to praise the actual Carers as they do a tremendous job which is a shame that your new online system is failing the overall experience.

Because of this, we took action to change things. As a result, we now have a totally new management team. We have invested in new systems, training, and new managers who have already made an enormous difference in the running of the service, staff contentment, and our clients' happiness. A recent inspection from Somerset Council praised the new management team for their tremendous improvement in such a short period. However, we are not stopping there. Our new management team's desire to not only correct the legacy issues and improve but to be the very best will continue. Our new manager will shortly be visiting all of our clients in person to ensure that our service is not just meeting but exceeding their expectations.

We have had Taunton Homecare for the past two years and I am very happy with the service I get, they are very friendly and efficient with what they have to do, sometimes they go over their allotted time, they always clean up after themselves. I would go as far as to say they are brilliant.

My true and honest review. I had helped look after my parents who were in their nineties for many years until my own health required a period of convalescence. I thought that my brother and I were the only ones that could look after Mum and Dad and that any other carers wouldn't care to the same high
standard we wanted to provide for our much-loved parents. I was very wrong. Back in September 2021, I was searching for help! I was worried about my cancer and the fact that Mum and Dad were unable to manage without considerable help. 1st November 21 was fast approaching, the date of my operation and the date that loving care was going to be considerably reduced. I was very worried. A medical friend told me of a small care company that became my pink gems. A care company that appreciated the needs of my parents. A meeting with the team principal set my mind at ease. We never looked back. Grateful thanks to all these special carers that continue their wonderful teamwork with us today.

The staff are excellent in washing and dressing my husband Eric, and managing his catheter, which was inserted in November. They chat him up and make him more cheerful. It gives him somebody else to talk to besides me. The timekeeping is good and convenient for us, as any problems bring an immediate
response from the manager or her deputy. I am glad of their help and advice.

We have received wonderful care from the carers at Taunton Homecare Services. As my father-in-law has dementia continuity of carer is of the utmost importance. I have been so impressed by the small team of regular carers that be been to deliver care to my father in law. They engage with him effectively
with time and patience, ensuring all needs are met at each visit. We would highly recommend.

Ever since I have been using this company, I have had nothing but good care and the most kindest of consideration. Nothing is too much trouble. The management is of the highest you can get. I would recommend them to anybody. They listen to how you feel and your needs very carefully.
