We used Home Instead (Romford, Hornchurch & Rainham) to look after my mum. The care provided was exceptional. My mum was extremely hesitant about getting anyone in and it took a lot of encouragement from us as a family. We started with five daily visits but as mum took so well to this, we increased to everyday. Management were very quick in getting any changes implemented. We did have some adjustments to times and appointments which required carers to take mum and again they sorted this very quickly. The ladies were great with mum, patient and very reassuring. My mum recently moved away with my sister so we no longer need care but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thanks again.

After two years with another agency, we moved my aunt's care to Home Instead Romford. It has been a smooth and successful transition. My aunt is 87, has dementia and has no children. My family and I live at a distance and it is vital that we collaborate with a proactive team with excellent communication and attention to detail. They are always on hand if we have a concern/need advice and are quick to make sensible suggestions and recommendations. The family app, where we are able to read the real-time reports/actions from each CAREGiver, is invaluable. My aunt has a consistent core team of CAREGivers who she looks forward to seeing/spending time with and describes as being 'a lovely lot'. We really appreciate their kindness, patience and 'can-do' attitude. The client relationship and companionship are at the heart of Home Instead's comprehensive service.

The Home Instead team have provided an excellent service to my Aunt over the last few months. The carers have built a really good relationship with her in challenging circumstances and have gone above and beyond to support her. They are kind, reliable and trustworthy. The 2 managers have been helpful and proactive and worked incredibly hard to help my Aunt get the services she has needed. They provide her family with regular updates and are very reassuring and supportive. Their knowledge and expertise have been invaluable. I am very pleased with the care Home Instead staff have been providing to my mother. In these trying times of Covid-19 worldwide pandemic, my mother is fortunate to be living in her own home with these dedicated professionals to care for her. Because I live in Australia and cannot be there for her, I am relieved she is receiving the best of care for her needs.

Your carer called round in late February and carried out a care assessment with my mum and was very polite, patient and helpful. She called around twice a week and was always on time and very caring, treating Mum more as a friend than a client. On one visit, she advised us of a medical issue that Mum had, which she is now under treatment for. Unfortunately, due to covid-19 and having to isolate Mum and as I had to reduce my work hours, we have had to cut back on your service. We look forward to working with your company again when the covid situation is under control and I am back at work full time.

Home Instead Senior Care provides an exemplary service for my father twice a week. They are punctual, supportive and conscientious in their approach. He is very comfortable in his own home and this support enables him to remain safe and cared for in a way that his family cannot contemplate, during this terrible coronavirus pandemic and national lockdown rules.

I highly recommend this care agency. I implemented support for my mother who needed a bespoke care package, and this is exactly what we were given. My mother has had many carers in the past but nothing at all compares to this excellent service, this 5-star service. They truly go above and beyond, and the care is sincere. And the kindness and thoughtfulness is consistent - no request is ever too big. I have been able to have in-depth talks with my mum’s carer which has helped me enormously. The care and the attention to detail my mother’s carer has given to my mother is nothing l have seen before, I am truly, truly grateful and pleased you are in our lives, and most importantly my mum is finally happy she has a care provider who puts her needs first and is not just a 'tick box' exercise.
