We chose Kirsten's Care three years ago when our mother was no longer able to care for herself physically but wanted to stay in her own home. They offered her an affordable and flexible care plan that they were always happy to tailor to her changing needs. They were patient and calm and very good at communicating Mum's situation to us. The carers were very kind and some even became her friends, visiting in their spare time and bringing their kids to say hello or bringing something to amuse or interest her. They would often invite her to social events and only her poor physical state prevented her going more often. They would take her to see the doctor and to the hospital when we couldn't be there. We grew to be very fond of the Pink Ladies as she called them and were delighted when several came to her recent funeral. We are very pleased to recommend them.

Both my husband and myself were ill and we needed care. Kirsten’s Care provided an excellent carer who lived-in for a week and took care of us until we were able to look after ourselves. We have no hesitation in recommending Kirsten’s Care for the future.

As the son of a client of Kirsten Care, my experience of them has been excellent. The care they have given my father has been top notch and they are a company who do actually care about their clients. Support is terrific and communication is fast and appropriate for the conditions. I like their continued drive and passion for improvements and developments, such as Friendship Fridays and trips to the seaside, along with games and arts and crafts to stimulate the clients. Having worked at the London Ambulance Service, I have an experience of care homes and can say this is one of the best I have encountered. The fees provide value for money and the staff are second to none, providing continued support and flexibility. I would heartily recommend Kirsten Care.

Throughout the process, Kirsten’s was very patient and understanding. They treated Mum with adult respect, did a good job of listening to her, and had her best interests at heart when putting together a suitable package. After which, they were flexible in making further changes.

We contacted Kirsten’s Care during a period where additional care was required for my mother whilst my dad was convalescing. The sensitive manner that the team showed to us from the initial enquiry phone conversation through to the first consultation and meeting with my mum has been excellent. The care plan is written to take account of all personal needs and preferences. We particularly liked the way that the company were considerate to involve my mum, helping her to make her breakfast with her rather than simply doing it for her. All carers have been very friendly, helpful and supportive and both of my parents were very pleased with the care they received. We would happily recommend this service to anyone who needed it for any length of time.

Kirsten's Care have provided and continue to provide an excellent service to our family. Dad enjoys the care and support provided. The carers are always friendly, polite and professional and Dad enjoys chatting to them. Communication has been very good and they are always helpful and accommodating to changing needs. The staff from Kirsten’s Care have been looking after my mother for the past two years, helping with her personal care and providing companionship. The ‘pink ladies’ are professional, friendly, caring and polite. I feel very confident that they are keeping an eye on Mum and will let me know of any problems, without taking away her remaining independence. During a recent episode of reduced mobility, they were quick to arrange an occupational therapy assessment for extra mobility aids, which has helped a lot. The live-in carer who has been giving additional support for two weeks to allow her to get back on her feet has been kind, competent and an excellent cook. Mum has many family members that live far away and the staff are very good at fitting her care in around the family when they visit. Thank you to all at Kirsten’s Care.

Kirsten's Care have provided live-in care to my mum over the past 9 months. They have been attentive, considerate and flexible in their approach which was always as per Mum's preferences. This has enabled her to continue living at home which is very important for her.

My mother has been supported by Kirsten's Care since the summer of 2022. Very reliable, friendly, adaptable, pleasant, chatty and sympathetic. These are qualities were, and still are, so appreciated especially as I was facing the loss of my husband a few months earlier.

Recently a live-in carer looked after my husband for a week while I had a respite holiday. She was lovely. She kept to a routine and cooked nice meals, but I'm not doing her justice. She was so friendly, cheerful and organised. My husband enjoyed her company, and the house was immaculate. It's the first time I've seen a beautifully folded and ironed fitted sheet! I was sorry to see her go.

We have found Kirsten's Care very understanding and helpful in meeting our needs and aspirations; sometimes we feel we were not the easiest of clients but Kirsten's Care responded always with care, consideration and where needed compromise. Lovely staff, always responsive, always caring and cheerful and whilst there may have been the occasional hiccup this was more likely due to a misunderstanding by the Client. The response from Kirsten's Care has always been constructive to any problems. Overall, we rate your service very highly and would not hesitate to recommend Kirsten's Care; should we need help and advice at some further point in the future we will look to you for your proposals and a care plan.

The wonderful team at Kirsten's Care have been providing home care and support to my aunt for the past five years. During that time, the care and attention that they have provided has been highly professional, kind and compassionate. Having MS and after a small operation on my hand I needed help with getting in and out of bed and dressing. So I approached Kirsten’s Care of Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds and I am so glad I did. I can’t speak highly enough of the help and care I received. All their carers who helped me while I was recovering from my operation were wonderful. They were so considerate and helpful and knew what I wanted before I even asked for it. My carers became my friends and I looked forward to seeing them every day.

Kirsten's cared for Dad for nearly a year during which time we found them to be very professional and reliable. They were always friendly and caring to Dad who did not think that he needed any help but they saw to all his needs without making any fuss.
