As one carer was leaving her face mask slipped and I received a beautiful smile. They all enjoy helping and would do more for me if I asked. I try to be as independent as possible!

This care provider is extremely good. Hardworking, friendly, interested in our lives, and caring. We are extremely happy with them.

Alina have been great at looking after Mum, and it is reassuring to know that she is so well cared for. The carers are all respectful and attentive, and shift patterns have been adjusted at sometimes short notice according to needs at the time. Highly recommend.

It took many difficult conversations with our parents to agree to having any level of care. However, from the first care visit, my Mother has never looked back and now looks forward to every visit. I am a full-time carer for my husband and am able to have 4 hours of companion care for my husband so that I can have time to go out to fulfil commitments, go shopping or for a walk. This time will get even better when lockdown ends and I will be able to socialise with my friends. We have a lovely companion and we both look forward to her visits. She has taken time to listen to him and they talk together. I often hear animated conversation and laughter when I come back from my walk. I know that if my husband needs a drink or a snack that he will be well provided for. He loves to go out in his wheelchair for a walk. I am grateful to Alina for providing continuity by having the same companion each time and all the time and the care taken to match the package to our needs. This has made a big difference to both our lives.

I have received two care visits a day from Alina Homecare staff since September 2019. I have been delighted at how friendly, helpful and considerate all their staff have been whilst still being professional. It is reassuring to know that when a new carer attends, she will continue to deliver the same, high-quality care as the existing carers.

When offered respite care for my husband after months of sole care, I felt somewhat reluctant to accept help from relative strangers, but my experience couldn’t have been better. Time was taken to establish our unique circumstances and tailor a support package that comprehensively not only matched our needs but surpassed any expectations. From the outset, a carer was selected with the qualities and personality to ease any concerns we may have had. Our carer is incredibly hard-working, consistent and reliable. Each week she returns like a breath of fresh air and offers four hours of hands-on love and support I never dreamed possible. Just knowing that I have time to meet a friend, attend an appointment or spend the valued commodity of time any way I please, has made such a big difference to this ongoing situation. From ironing, cleaning, gardening, to walking the dog to help my husband’s rehabilitation, nothing seems beyond our Carer's willingness to make a difference.

Friendly, efficient, adaptable - very caring. The need was immediate and the service provided appropriate and communications swift and always relevant. The client and the family very happy with the service.

The staff at Alina have always gone above and beyond to care for my sister. They have built meaningful and trusting relationships with her. If there was a 20/10 I would give it to the team who care for my father. The compassion and care that they provide for him is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they all go that extra mile. It is peace of mind for me and my father cannot speak highly enough of the team.

I have been cared for by different members of staff and they have all been professional, friendly and kind. The office have been very good about contacting me with any changes of time of visits and very helpful in arranging alternative times to fit in with hospital appointments. Staff have been willing and able to deal with issues e.g. problems with dressings and drainage bags, that have arisen and taken extra time when needed.

My father was hesitant about having carers but the staff at Alina Homecare soon put him at ease and he now looks forward to their visits. They have cared for him well and know his needs and requirements. They help me immediately with keeping him and his clothes clean and changed regularly. They are always willing to do more visits when I am away or unable to get to him. I am hoping to increase the care they do in the near future.
